GRANDMASTER LEE MOY SHAN IN RIO!

We had an opportunity to receive the visit of Grand Master Lee Moy Shan in Rio de Janeiro, thanks to his contact with my Master Julio Camacho regarding the passage of his ship cruise through Rio de Janeiro.
The initial idea was just an meeting with my Master, but Si Fu has been telling us insistently about when a situation is shown, one must seek to adhere to it, supporting on the potential and proposing something that brings even more benefit. In this way, my Master articulated with Grand Master Lee Moy Shan, a visit to the Copacabana School, where the Moy Lin Mah Family Ceremony took place .... And so I was able to live a learning Sunday ...

A Visita de Grão-mestre Lee Moy Shan:
Uma história em 3 partes.

The Visit of Grand Master Lee Moy Shan:
A story in 3 parts.

You can call me nostalgic, but I can still remember lovingly waking up on Sunday mornings at my grandfather's house (photo) with the beautiful song "Luzeiro" by Almir Sater playing on TV. Still sleepy, I would turn and could see my grandfather in the kitchen ready to leave. Every Sunday was the same ritual: He would put on his best clothes, always lose an object and loose some time to find it, put on his Mighty Ducks cap, drank a "finger" of coffee, and leave with his bicycle to the fair. He would come back, eat what he had bought, drank another cup of coffee, and go to the kitchen to make pastry or biscuits with sprinkles ...
(Com Si Fu aguardando o Si Baak Gung no porto)
(With Si Fu waiting for  Si Baak Gung in the port)

Si Fu (photo) years later would tell me something about how an event at Mo Lam works. I can only remember fragments: "... The event itself is only a justification for what precedes it and what comes next Then ... The tune with the event happens before it ... "- Thinking of my grandfather, I realize that when he used to go to the fair on Sundays , began before he actually was there, and would last after his return ...
That Sunday morning when I got into the car with my To Dai Keith Markus, I knew that that event had started long before for me ...

Me peguei pensando em meu próprio Si Fu naquele momento...

After we got Si Baak Gung in the port with his wife. We took them both to the Copacabana school (photo above). The Ceremony was already happening, and upon entering it was nice to be able to see familiar faces that I had not seen for a long time and other familiar faces, those of my To Dai, whom I had seen hours before on Saturday .. At that moment, as I greeted them quickly, There was time to find myself thinking about myself: How many times, friends or relatives did not understand what I was going to do during events on Sunday mornings with Kung Fu Family? - "I'm going to a Ceremony!" - I would say, but this only worsened their understanding .. Anyway, it was my turn to note that this willingness to follow Si Fu is being passed on.
However, it was not only this that touched me when we arrived, with the house full, I could see Si Baak Gung being moved to see the Mo Gu and especially the photo of his Si Fu, Si Taai Gung Moy Yat. We bowed next to him to the photo. I caught myself thinking of my own Si Fu at that moment ...

(With Si Fu and Julia at one of his former houses n 2008)

Soon we will have a distance between us that never existed.  18 years of relationship that will need to adapt to a new reality that is already being configured. Despite this, I feel fairly satisfied with the relationship we have built. And seeing Si Baak Gung getting emotional at that moment, I reflected on how important it is to take advantage of those moments. They pass quickly, as now, 18 years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I will need to adapt.

The Grand Master sat down and I was led to my place. The Moy Lin Mah Family had been invited me as a guest of honor. I have been looking around for a few moments, and the really is that the Copacabana School (photo) is a source of inspiration as a "Mo Gun"(School) for all of us with a space separated by rooms thought by the Leaders of the Moy Lin Mah Family, which allows a very pleasant ambience .
For me in particular, this visit served to rethink all my planning regarding the relocation of the Meier School. I realized how the Moy Lin Mah Family was able to adapt so well to what the Copacabana neighborhood offered, and I thought better of the nature of Méier neighborhood. Maybe I was seeing Méier as Barra neighborhood, and with that, I was not seeing "The Whole" ... It was a great lesson.

Grand Master Lee Moy Shan (photo above) is a wonderful person. His charisma as he picked up the microphone, caught everyone's attention quickly: "You guys are very serious, let's get closer!" -  He said in a casual tone.
With the translation by the To Dai Inez Viegas and the disciple Angela Carvalho, both from the Moy Lin Mah Family, I followed with great excitement the words of the Si baak Gung regarding Siu Nim Tau and Kuen Kuit.
My To Dai Renato Madeira, in his bilingual Blog "Discovering Ving Tsun", cites a passage about this moment: "... He said that his Si Fu, Patriarch Moy Yat (1938 - 2001), said that the Yat Ji Jung Choei (日 字 中 拳) is a punch that comes from the heart. The Grand Master said that, initially, he understood that this was associated with the fact that this punch comes from the center of the chest. Only with the passing of time he realized that, in fact, that statement did not refer to the execution of the punch, but to the will and energy of whoever is executing it, that is, you must strike the punch with all your heart . He added that this same attitude must be adopted in everything you do in your daily life. From the relationship with your family, to your professional activity, everything must be done with heart. ... "

(Aqui recebo um afetuoso abraço do Si Baak Gung Lee Moy Shan)
(A warm hug of Si Baak Gung in me.)

His words touched me deeply, but as important as it was to be able to observe how a Grand Master behaved, a Si Hing from my Si Gung,  was able to captivate everyone, including me, ranging from deep themes and relaxed speeches such as when he explained how to use "Hau Ma" with one´s wife. And it was great to see the generosity with which he shared much more than he needed with us .

His wife (photo above), also called my attention for all the affection with which she received the greetings from everyone and for being in tune with everything that his husband said. Showing that besides being married, she really knows him.
Si Baak Gung took time to thank the leaders of the Moy Lin Mah Family for welcoming him and also to my Si Fu.
We accompanied the couple to the port where we said goodbye. And I was very flattered that he knew me through this Blog: "When you write, you put your heart there." - He said. It touched me a lot because he is someone who was already working with Kung Fu when my parents were still getting to know each other.

(Si Fu lit the incense to revere the ancestors of Ving Tsun at the opening of the year of the Rooster)

We had a long bus ride to São Paulo State, spent a lot of time waiting for a UBER, checked in at the Hotel after a breakfast there. And then a few attempts to iront the overdressed clothes, we took another Uber to the "House of Disciples" in Brooklyn.
For Clayton and Andre it was the first time they entered the place, for me it was being a good return with Si Fu. After  so many trips and adventures that we passed by there together.
(Si Gung prepara a mesa ancestral)
(Si Gung prepares the ancestral table)

The so-called "Chinese New Year" is celebrated by our Grand Clan Moy Yat Sang always beginning with reverence for the ancestors after a few days of caution with the Mo Gun and with the own ancestral table. For one of the ideas behind this rite is that We can close pending issues in order to begin the new cycle by relying on its renewal nature.

Si Gung, as Leader of the Great Clan, is the first to revere the ancestors. Then, from the oldest to the youngest after him do the same. It becomes important to understand the preservation of the legacy and memory of those who brought the Ving Tsun to us despite innumerable adversities.
In the photo, we see Si Fu bowing.

(Num momento de felicidade durante o brinde)
(During the toast I pose to the photographer)

Later that same day, we met at the best Cantonese restaurant in Brazil in the Aclimação (you read "Aclyh-masaum")neighborhood, called "China Garden" in the words of Si Gung himself in a message sent to the Masters of MYVTMI: "... The best Cantonese food in Brazil, food Who reminds me so much of my moments with Patriarch Moy Yat ... ".

The dinner was mainly organized by Si Suk Ming Abreu, who appears in the middle, in the fun picture above, which still features Si Suk Paul Liu, Si Baak Natan in the background and I the right.

(Si Gung appears between his wife, Si Taai Vanise Imamura and
His mother, affectionately named Dona Eda. )

The dishes were not only delicious, but the whole table arrangement was exemplary! Not only the decorations of the tables, but their placement in the hall. The plates did not come all at once, they were coming in a proper order and timing. It was very important to get to the restaurant to help Si Suk in the arrangement of the tables and find that everything was already ready. Thanks to the Kung Fu of the waiters and those in charge.
Si Suk Ming, in addition to taking care of all the logistics and the choice of dishes and the guidance of the waiters, as well as shared with some of us ,Chinese culture guidelines in this type of event.

(Despite the countless times we dinner together in good restaurants, I also "tried to kill" Si Fu as many, with not even healthy foods as in the photo above with him and Si Suk Diego
in the first Barra School in 2005)

On many occasions in restaurants with Si Fu, I heard from him about the good Kung Fu of one waiter or the lack of it in some other. On these occasions, he used to cite the example of a traditional Chinese restaurant that a Kung Fu Family goes there and that the waiter does not even have to wait for the request, because he already knows what Si Fu likes to eat or drink. The tea, which is always served in these places even though it has not been ordered, is the basics.
On the other hand, Si Fu usually points out when the waiter wants to be useful and ends up disturbing the flow of the conversation of the table with interruptions. So we know that you can work with Kung Fu in any environment. We understand that we can live life with art independent of our segment.

(Foto oficial do ano novo chinês).

Without a doubt, it was a very special event! I got to know Si Suk better than I did not have much contact like Si Suk Clayton Teixeira who shared a lot of nice things with me about his professional life that helped me think more about my own conducting of my professional life. I was able to spend some time with Si Suk Marcelo Abreu at the end and had very much fun!

Without doubt, the year starts well ...

10 years in Moy Jo Lei Ou Family

(Photo with Si Fu during one of my birthdays)

On March 10, 2007, I joined the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family (photo), which is lead by Master Julio Camacho, who became a Si Fu.
Due to the old "Blog do Pereira", many people have been able to follow all my development in the last ten years, from various parts of the world. Through the articles, people coul know better about my relationship with my Si Fu. But I am not the only disciple . Si Fu has many others, who live and lived many adventures with him in the same way. Also, they are mistaken that they think that a "Kung Fu Life" are just tough moments or good times. Because as in our daily life, everything is intertwined, and it is this relationship of duality of life that makes it rich ...

Rio de Janeiro, 10 de Março de 2007
Rio, March , 10 .  2007

(In the foreground I am a bit nervous about the Ceremony that would change my path in Ving Tsun. In the background, there is Jade, Si Fu's eldest daughter, holding a message from her mother to those present at that Ceremony that she read very well on the microphone.)

Sempre estava ouvindo "Umbrella" e "What I´ve Done" naquele aparelho...

I had bought my first blue MP3 with only 250 MB and could fit about 60 songs in it. The sky was the limit! I was always listening  "Umbrella" and "What I've Done" songs in that device ... And in this era of technological progress, at least for me, I attended the XVII Traditional Ceremony of our Family, in which I would join the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family .
The ceremony took place at the house of a Kung Fu sister called Xenia D'avila, who two months later would do Baai Si together with me.

(Ao lado de minha Gaai Saiu Yan, Mestra Ursula Lima, Líder da Família Moy Lin Mah)
(With my Gaai Siu Yan, Master Ursula Lima, leader of Moy Lin Mah Family)

I had made this decision to join the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family, because since 1999 as a member of the Moy Yat Sang Family, I had start a growing feeling for the figure of Master Julio Camacho, who was with whom I actually lived on the day to day and that not only transmitted to me the Ving Tsun System, but mainly, teachings and lessons that would change my life forever ...
It was thanks to my Si Hing, Master Leonardo Reis, that this possibility was opened. Because he was the one who with persistence managed to be the first member to make this way, opening a trail for so many others.
Thanks to this movement, I felt like "Rocketeer" with a rocket in the back from there, everything came to fit. I was "embraced" by Kung Fu brothers like Paula Gama and other people to whom I had the greatest deference as Master Ursula, I could have a much deeper relation of respect, for being now in a generation below.

Naquela Cerimônia, também ingressou na Família Moy Jo Lei Ou
Vladimir Anchieta(foto), e juntos também fomos excepcionalmente autorizados
a acessar os estudos do Domínio "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan".

At that Ceremony, also joined the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family, Vladimir Anchieta (photo), and together we were also exceptionally allowed to access the studies of the "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan" Domain.

Getting into a Kung Fu Family for me is about a feeling hard to put into words. It is not just a group of people so close that they treat themselves as Family. I see today that it is a Family indeed.
Entering into the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family ,  has changed my life forever. This symbolic act enabled me to live a life I would call "epic." Not because of great feats or great moments, only, but mainly of that detail of the relationship or an experience that would go unnoticed if it were not because of Si Fu or his memory inside me to keep me aware of it.

(I and Vladimir presented our  "Da Hung Jong" during the Ceremony.Of course, of all the hassles I promoted in my Ceremonies, this "Da Hung Jong" is on the list! lol)

Sometimes I quoted a speech attributed to Si Taai Gung Moy Yat, in which he would have said, "No matter how many Hung Baau you would give to your Si Fu, you will never be able to pay what he did for you." "Perhaps there is no phrase that best expresses this feeling of gratitude. For when in life you discover that your "greatest enemies" are not liable to be hit with hands and feet because they are a dismissal, a lack of money, a disappointment, a loss, etc ... At that time, you understands that phrase completely.
(Eu, minha Si Suk Ursula e meu Si fu)
(Si Fu, Si Suk Ursula and I)

I can remember the first time Si Fu looked at me laughing and asked if I had ever thought bad of him. I replied that I did not nearly feel it! I said that almost outraged by such a question. Years later, in conversation with him about a process in which I am leading, I could hear something like: "Pereira, you know the truth? You can not be in that position"- He paused, and stared at me while we were at the Mo Gun alone. He went on: "... But you also had no condition whatsoever to get where you arrived, and look at this: today you are a Si Fu ..." - Said smiling and asked, "Think honestly: Try to remember about yourself ten years ago what were your real chances of being a Si Fu today? "  - I smiled involuntarily, and also involuntarily caught myself responding" Yeah. "-  "That's why Pereira ..." - Said Si Fu - "That I think that although you do not have conditions today, you may come to have.Because at various other times, you not only did not think you had, but a lot of times tried to convince me of this ... " - Si Fu stopped, and seemed to remember some of these passages and completed:" ... You do not know how many times you almost asked me to give you up ... But today we are here, with you as a Si Fu. So, try harder on this subject. "

Master Julio Camacho's Ving Tsun touches hearts at an University.

In February, my Master Julio Camacho coordinated a module from the discipline "History and Philosophy of the Martial Arts" of the University of São Caetano do Sul in Sao Paulo,Brazil. It was possible, trough an invitation from his own Master: Grand Master Leo Imamura.
As classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays, and in that morning, were present  a Judo practitioner second Dan(poto above) and a Jiu Jitsu black belt (photo below in the background) who coordinates classes in one of the battalions of the São Paulo Military Police
(Helping Si Fu in a demonstration, observed by one of the students)

At that time, I felt that somehow the students who were experienced practitioners in other martial arts did not give much credit at first. However, Si Fu can be very assertive bodily whenever he wants, including with the students of this postgraduate discipline of martial arts. In this way, all of them were quickly impressed, and it was possible to hear the comment: "Bro, he looks like an octopus! There's always a hand coming! " - Another interesting point was the involuntary smiles when the audience watched a demonstration by Si Fu.

Si Gung (photo) was also present, after all, he has been the professor of this discipline for many years. He just stood there, watching the work being done. He had opened with the theme for the day, that the students could see philosophical aspects of their arts in practice.
I understood to be witnessing on the part of Grand Master Leo Imamura, the provision of Kung Fu Life for Master Domenico (who also coordinated a module) and for my own Mestre Julio Camacho.

On June 16, 2007, almost 10 years ago, I promoted a Ving Tsun workshop alone for the first time (photo above). At the hearing, we had practitioners of Kendo, Tai Chi, Xing Yi and Judo. The event took place in a public space in Rio de Janeiro on a Saturday afternoon. That's why curious ordinary people also came to watch.
At the time, I wrote on  the old "Blog do Pereira" about this episode: "... As incredible as it may sound, I did not feel nervous, what I had in my heart was the commitment to Si Fu, Si Gung, Mo Gun, my Kung Fu brothers and sisters present there, I mean...with all ... "- But it was not so simple, it happens, that because I m naturally shy and insecure, so I take ownership of the commitment I have made, and drawing strength from the memory of my Si Fu to every speech, with every gesture, I can bring this kind of process forward. When I finish, I get exhausted, but I always remember what Si Fu once said: "... Thiago, when we give up something in the middle, brings us some relief. But it has no better feeling than when we reach the end and we know That we gave everything we could ... " - So I find out that could not be different.

Watching Si Fu (photo) ministering a module of this post-graduation discipline in college that Sunday was very enriching. I tried to imagine what was going on in his mind: "Was he nervous?" - Well, if he was not looked like, Si Fu is a very captivating person and quickly the students were smiling at every unsuccessful attempt to touch him.
(Si Fu com seu To Dai  e Diretor do Núcleo Méier da Moy Yat Ving Tsun , Clayton Meireles sorriem)
(Si Fu and his student and Director of MYVT Meier School, Clayton Meireles smiling)

Hoje, acredito nesse sorriso.

Today, I believe in  smiles. For me, it's been a while since, when there's no greater reward in my career as a Si Fu, than when a To Dai or Si Dai smiles at something unexpected that he has just discovered or realized. In that moment, in that little moment. Somehow, I know I touched the heart of the person. And that Sunday, it was good to witness Si Fu touch everyone's heart.

How did I learn the "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan"

(Room 129 of the old Mo Gun in Barra. In the room with the white floor,
I learned the sequence of "six and a half points" with the Gwaan.)

A cobradora sorrindo enquanto recebia meu dinheiro me perguntou: "Você não fuma né?"

When I got on the bus on the old line 755,  I was not short on air. I wore an old wool sweater and still was not sweaty. The bus exchanger smiling while receiving my money asked me, "You do not smoke, do you?" -I found the question odd, and in my usual shyness I just shook my head negative. She went on: "I saw you running so light and still hit the bus!" -  I smiled and went through the ticket gate. But my smile was not because of the comment, but because I had felt light too.
That sprint to catch the bus was unforgettable! It was like there was no more gravity and I did not run instead. My legs felt like paper. I then sat on the seat of the bus, and leaning on the window that first half of 2008, I reflected on my day.

How did I learn the "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan"

(Si Fu poses with his daughter Jade in his former residence on the Pau-Ferro Road in Jacarepaguá)

So far, the year was sucking! And with a problem that was the size of the world at the time, I called Si Fu and invited him to lunch. It was a holiday, but even so he accepted. This invitation had more to do with my desire to hear a word about what to do than for any other reason.
I went to his old residence in Jacarepaguá (photo) and arriving earlier than the combined, I waited in the Main Hall. Si Fu came down at exactly time, even though I had been in the room twenty minutes before. He greeted me, and when I entered his former car, he said to me as he maneuvered it: "Pereira, when we make an appointment with someone, is it important to respect the right time. Because when you arrive late, you make trouble, when you do not show up and do not position yourself, you make trouble, but when you arrive early you make trouble too" - It would take years for me to adjust that.
(Praticando o Luk Dim Bun Gwaan)
(Practicing the Luk Dim Bun Gwaan)

Dentro do "Luk Din Bun Gwaan" , algo bem emblemático é a prática do "Biu Gwaan".

Unlike other System Domains, the "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan" of our Lineage, has its brief sequence presented at the end, after Associated Components (called  "exercise" in other lineages). Inside the "Luk Din Bun Gwaan", something very emblematic is the practice of "Biu Gwaan".
You know, when we try to hit someone with our bare hands and we can not, we always have the opportunity to try again with the other hand. But when you have a stick with this length and you execute the "Biu Gwaan", it is good that you hit it, otherwise you "die"

Below, an old footage from the cell phone of Mster Diego Guadelupe, from the time I was learning the "Biu Gwaan".

(A friendly photo with Si Fu after a practice of Luk Dim Bun Gwaan coordinated by him.)

That day I did not hear Si Fu's words of support during lunch. I heard what had to be said. And from everything I heard I remember an example he gave me. Something like: "Thiago, it's like you had a paintbrush, ink and a paper in your hands. You've messed up the paper, you do not have a way to clean anymore, there's no way to erase, you can not do it again."

When we went to the Mo Gun after lunch (photo), Si Fu asked me to take a Gwaan. And in this room of the photo he began to perform "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan" without saying anything. My heart was beating fast, and I, who was downcast, felt all the vibration of the martial arts that always enchanted me! So my problems were gone and I only had eyes for that unforgettable and historic execution in April 2008: "Did you see everything?" - I said yes.- "Then do it for me to see."-  When I finished executing any crap that came out at that moment with the Gwaan, Si Fu only warned that he would be in the other room working and asked me to continue.

When I realized that "I had no legs anymore," I went to the other room and just told Si Fu that I had to go since it was my time also. He asked his characteristic question of the time: "So what? Did you enjoy it?" - I smiled and said yes. When I left, my heart was on fire, and as I stepped onto the sidewalk, I saw a bus of the 755 line passing by ...

How to reach to a new level in Ving Tsun

(Com Si Fu durante almoço no "Restaurante Rústico" no Brooklyn paulista)
(With Si Fu during lunch time in Sao Paulo)

Certa vez, em clima descontraído prestes a me despedir dele e do Si Suk Homero no estacionamento do antigo Mo Gun no Edifício Blue Sky.

Si Fu is not very supportive of "motivation". It seems to me that he believes that the moment we stop "motivating" a person, the person will naturally decrease his energy until he stops. Maybe that's why Si Fu always seems assertive and never seems to care about "please." He always says what needs to be said even though it is not so good to hear.
Once, in a relaxed mood about to say goodbye to him and Si Suk Homero in the parking lot of the old Mo Gun in the Blue Sky Building. Due to the context of the subject and with a smile on his face Si Fu stopped, he stared at me and said to me something like: "Thiago, you are a miracle from Ving Tsun, you know that?" I opened a spontaneous smile and shook my head, but Si Suk Homero laughed and I realized that it was Si Fu's amused speech: "... did not you know? You were super annoying, you just wanted to know about fight, you was dumbfounded, you was stupid, not stupid, but in the sense of packing with an idea and not moving from there," he said. "... And despite all this, you're here today telling me this ... "- Si Suk Homero burst into laughter and we all laughed. Si Fu said one last laughing thing: "Yeah Mister Thiago' ... Ving Tsun produces miracles too!" We hugged and he got into his car.

How to get to a new level in Ving Tsun

(Practicing "Chi Sau" with Thiago Silva at Si Fu´s former residence.
In the foreground, his younger daughter watching us )

I can still remember when in 2004, I began to feel bad for seeing contemporaries of mine accessing new heights within the Ving Tsun while I was stagnant in "Mui Fa Jong." People that I had easy to practice, now had a skill far superior to mine, and that seemed to me to have no explanation. They practiced no more than I did, so what was it?
Once in that year, Si Fu in a window of the old Jacarepaguá School said something like: "... Thiago, there is a moment in Ving Tsun when it is necessary to reach a new level of understanding. As long as you do not understand this other level of maturity, you will continue to hit a ceiling, if you go through it, it will be because you have understood what I am talking about ... "

I was slow to understand what Si Fu (photo) was talking about, but when I did, I found myself going a lot further than I imagined. I even opened a school  of Moy Yat Ving Tsun in Meier neighborhood in Rio, in which my To Dai Pedro Freire (photo) was the first to enroll. But in spite of that I found out much faster, perhaps because I was leading a process. That I was still stagnant in certain cases with certain ideas.

When I became Director of a school, I began attending more reserved meetings (photo) with Si Fu and Si Suk Ursula (photo), who at the time, was  beginning her career in the South Zone of Rio, still had a very significant management role in our Mo Gun.
I always admired Si Suk Ursula deeply, I thought she was perfect in what she set out to do and was very happy to have the same access she had to Si Fu. But I scarcely knew of the literally innumerable headaches that I would have every time on Tuesdays and Thursdays when leave the meetings with them.
Si Fu used to say to me: "Pereira, this time is precious, this configuration we have today with me, you and Ursula every Tuesday and Thursday will not last forever. ". But I could not understand what they thought. I used to bring about 20 topics to be discussed, Si Fu would stop at one and go with him until the end of a meeting. Sometimes he remembered a curious situation and the subject would go to other places that for me at that moment, ended up disturbing us.

I left these meetings with the same doubts, on the other hand, Si Suk Ursula and Si Fu seemed to understand each other very well. Although he barely passed her subjects, she seemed to know what to do when the meetings were over ...

So even though I was physically present, I could not connect heart to heart, as they did.

Recently, I was able to accompany my Si Fu to São Paulo, and witness his participation in a meeting in the "House of the Disciples" (photo). It was very interesting to see him interact with his Kung Fu brothers, including Masters, Qualified Tutors and experienced people. At no point  I noticed Si Fu clinging to his ideas, entering into a rhetoric, or being annoyed by something that was opposed to what was presented. I did not see him in a hurry to make a check-list of what had been proposed and move on to the next topic ... He only allowed himself to behave for each proposal or change presented, and adhering with his heart to what was proposed or opposed , Proposed a third thing.

Almost in the morning, back to the hotel (photo), we had a moment of feedback with Si Fu. Everyone said about the time of the meeting among so many that we lived that day. For me, after years of  work at Méier School, it was already possible to understand that a "Kung Fu meeting" does not necessarily give us what we  want to. We need to follow the flow, and connect in a deeper way than just mental to get what we need from the simplest speech. Maybe that's why, we say that in Kung Fu, we do not use the ears to hear, but the heart.
