Era uma quinta pela manhã, estávamos em nossa rotina de práticas no Mo Gun. Confesso que não lembro a data mas não me preocupo, pois, dali a poucas horas, Niklas estaria fazendo seu convite de Baai Si. As datas são marcos, mas aquela quinta não seria tão importante se não fosse o evento. Começou com a ligação do Si Hing Carlos Antunes alertando sobre  o jantar, mais tarde, faltando exatas duas horas para o início, ou seja ,tempo suficiente para eu não conseguir chegar a tempo se considerarmos o trânsito e o tempo de me arrumar.
O próprio Niklas também me ligou para me convidar.Sobre o Niklas|:sua prática começou no antigo Mo Gun no Recreio junto de seu pai,Darwin. De lá para cá viu muita coisa acontecer e mudar;eu também; uma das coisas que vi mudar foi a maturidade do Niklas. De um rapaz sonolento a ativo,de alguém que apenas cumpria a rotina para alguém passou a programá-la. De alguém que  por mérito próprio e também contando com a ajuda de sua família. Vai colocar à prova num lugar distante o que aprendeu em casa.Já que Niklas vai viver a partir de agora, fora do Brasil. Segundo Si Taai Gung Moy Yat: "Você ser jovem e inexperiente é comum,ser velho e experiente é esperado, porém ser jovem e experiente é Ving Tsun".
  No jantar estávamos eu ,Si Fu, Darwin, Si hing Silva e Si Hing Antunes .Si fu pediu para que Niklas falasse sobre o que esperava em termos de dificuldade em sua viagem. Niklas falou da grade de horários que parecia muito rigida.Si fu então falou a respeito de estarmos prontos para o que esperamos e sobretudo o que não esperamos.
Após este momento, Si Fu pediu para Niklas fazer o pedido da comida enquanto ele falava sobre o general americano que comandou a operação "tempestade no deserto". A boa sorte parecia estar ao lado do Nikas pois estavamos sem a comanda para os pedidos.Curiosamente ninguém lembrou de pedir. Passado um tempo, alguém pediu o papel e Niklas teve sua chance.Pediu coisas que tinham o nome em inglês, e antes de acabar chegou mais um prato, dessa vez com nomes japoneses, Niklas pareceu surpreso, e então percebeu que Si Hing Antunes fizera os pedidos.
Continuamos ouvindo histórias de Baai Si dos presentes e expectativas para o futuro.
Si Fu disse que a princípio não convidaria Niklas para o Baai Si somente por um motivo: A idade. Contudo, como Niklas vai passar bastante tempo nos Estados Unidos e talvez não volte a morar no Brasil, Si Fu achou oportuno transformar um símbolo de afastamento em aproximação.
   Quando Si Fu foi embora,passamos a contar e ouvir histórias, além de compartilhar experiências. Não posso deixar de comentar nesse texto  a postura do pai de Niklas, Darwin Correa, que transparecia alegria enquanto falava do filho ao mesmo tempo que o observava com atenção e orgulho.
Darwin tem uma postura bem interessante com relação ao filho, pois mesmo não praticando permite que o filho pratique, e não mede esforços para ajuda-lo nessa tarefa.No jantar, Darwin estava tão satisfeito que fez um grande gesto de gentileza para os presentes ao final. No mais, só estando là pra ver...

Since then He seen a lot happen and change, I also have seen him change. One of the things I saw change was the maturity of Niklas. From a sleepy boy to an active one, from someone who just attend  the routine , he started to program it. He is now someone by hos own effort and also with the help of his family. Will put to the test in a distant country what he learned ay his home. Because Niklas will live from now on, abroda Brazil. According Si Taai Gung Moy Yat: "You being young and inexperienced is common, being old and experienced is expected, but being young and experienced is Ving Tsun". 
   I were at dinner, Si Fu, Darwin, Si Hing Silva and Si Hing Antunes too .
Si Fu asked Niklas to talk about what he expected in terms of difficulty on his journey. Niklas spoke of the time grid that looked very hard.Si fu then talked about being ready for what we expect and above all we do not expect.

We keep hearing stories about Baai Si from the present people and expectations for the future. 
Si Fu said that at first , he would not invite Niklas to Baai Si only for one reason: His age. However, as Niklas will spend enough time in the United States and may not return to live in Brazil, Si Fu tought about turn a symbol of living in a symbol of approaching 
    When Si Fu left, we began to hear and tell stories, and share experiences. I can not live without commenting on this text to talk about  Niklas' father, Darwin Correa, who showed joy as he spoke of his son while he watched him carefully and prided.

No filme "The Snake in the Eagle's Shadow"(foto), Simon Yuen interpreta o ultimo descendente vivo do estilo da serpente. Ele vive como um mendigo disfarçado pois o líder do Clã Garra de Águia o persegue a fim de matá-lo e findar esse estilo. 
Num certo dia ele conhece o personagem de Jackie Chan, um órfão que vive de favor num Mo Gun e é maltratado diariamente pelos dois Daai Si hing do local.  O personagem de Jackie, mesmo passando dificuldades, cuida de Simon Yuen num momento de dificuldade. 
Tocado pela generosidade do rapaz, o personagem de Simon ensina a ele como se defender basicamente. Porém, após conviverem e Simon perceber que o personagem de Jackie realmente era alguém digno de receber seu legado e se tornar o novo detentor dos conhecimentos do estilo. 
Esse filme é muito, muito emocionante! E foi escrito e dirigido pelo próprio filho de Simon Yuen: Yuen Woo Ping, que mais tarde faria a coreografia dos filmes "Matrix" e "Kill Bill". Este filme lançou Jackie Chan ao estrelato com seu estilo de comédia e ação.
Porém, o mais importante, são as cenas de Mestre e Discípulo , que mostram de uma forma inocente , que ainda que o Mestre sinta afeto por alguém, como a pessoa que salvaguarda um Sistema, ele precisa realmente ter certeza se entregará o legado. Por isso um convite para o Baai Si é uma honra que muitas vezes o praticante não se dá conta até que vivencie a relação por alguns anos....

But most importantly, are the scenes of Master and Disciple, showing trough an innocent way, that although the Master starts to like someone, as the person who safeguards a system, it needs to really make sure he will deliver the legacy. So an invitation to Baai Si is an honor that often the practitioner does not realize until experience the relationship for a few years ....

Hoje vamos ler o depoimento de Glauco Gavioli. Um irmão Kung Fu mais novo que foi convidado recentemente para realizar a Cerimônia de Baai Si com Si Fu Julio Camacho!

Ao ser convidado para ir à casa do Si Fu naquela terça-feira, acreditava que seria uma noite em que nos reuniríamos para testemunharmos e a entrega do "Nome Kung Fu" de um de nossos irmãos e, aproveitarmos o ensejo para falarmos desses nomes, seus significados, história, propósito, etc. Um assunto que até então era novo pra mim em todos os aspéctos.
E como dizia, acreditava que seria isso e foi, porém mais. Nesta noite, que foi a primeira vez em que estive na casa do Si Fu, que havia ido pronto para após a reunião seguir para mais um serviço além do expediente, foi também a noite em que inesperadamente fui convidado para fazer meu Baai Si. Sem dúvida uma grande surpresa a qual realmente não poderia ter imaginado ao acordar naquele dia.
Confesso que levei um susto ao ser convidado. Depois de ouvir sobre a importância do nome Kung Fu de um discípulo tanto dentro da família quanto pessoalmente em muitos casos, Si Fu aproveitou o momento para convidar André – um Si Hing – e em seguida eu que, ao receber a notícia, quase que no mesmo embalo do susto me levantei pra abraça-lo antes mesmo que ele terminasse o convite e com essa reação me arrisco ao dizer que Si Fu se surpreendeu tanto quanto eu. Ao dar o abraço, ao fundo risos e risadas que acredito que, como o meu sorriso, eram de alegria, mas sobretudo motivadas pela espontaneidade do gesto.
Sem dúvida uma noite marcante e dentre as razões o fato de estar dando um passo muito importante na minha constante construção/evolução como pessoa, na minha realização pessoal, dentro do universo das artes marciais e dentro da família que escolhi, e que por sua vez também me escolheu. Difícil é dizer quem “escolheu”  o outro primeiro... tão difícil e tão fácil, pois esse é um detalhe que de fato não importa.

By giving the hug, the background people laugh and laugh, wich I we believe, like my smile, were of joy, but rather motivated by the spontaneity of the gesture. 
Undoubtedly a remarkable night and among the reasons, the fact Im taking a very important step in my constant construction / development as a person, in my personal achievement within the world of martial arts and within the family I  have chosen, and that in turn also chose me. Is difficult to say who "chose" the other first ... so hard and so easy because this is a detail that does not really matter.

"Baai Si", é um termo em cantonês que significa literalmente "Reverenciar o Mestre". Este é o momento onde o aspirante a discípulo de determinado Si Fu lhe oferece chá. Ao bebê-lo, o Si Fu e o
Dai Ji(Discípulo) estabelecem um vínculo permanente.
Mesmo entre os Dai Ji (discípulos) de uma Família Kung Fu, se tem aqueles mais próximos e outros nem tão próximos. A proximidade da relação depende muito das circunstâncias, por isso, é comum termos diferentes categorias de discípulos numa Família Kung Fu.

"Baai Si" is a term in Cantonese which literally means "revere the Master." This is the time where the aspiring disciple of certain Si Fu offers him tea. When he drinks it, the Si Fu and the 
Dai Ji (Disciple) establish a permanent bond. 
Even among the Dai Ji (disciples) of a Kung Fu Family, has those nearest and some not so close. The closeness of the relationship depends very much on the circumstances, so it is common to have different categories of disciples in a Kung Fu family.

Numa noite chuvosa na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, o Clã Moy Yat Sang se reuniu para prestigiar a quadragésima sexta Cerimônia Tradicional da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou (foto), na qual dentro do restaurante Chinatown no bairro da Tijuca, Otavio Leite, Clayton Quintino, Rodrigo Moreira e Kaio Cocchiarale , foram admitidos na Família Kung Fu. Enquanto que Luan Scliar foi promovido ao Domínio Cham Kiu e Niklas Correa foi promovido ao Domínio Biu Ji.
Para os recém admitidos, Luan Scliar foi quem mostrou a primeira parte do Siu Nim Tau a pedido de Si Fu. E Niklas mostrou a primeira parte do Cham Kiu para Luan mais tarde.

Naquela mesma noite, Si Fu(foto), que foi até o local acompanhado de sua filha mais velha Jade(foto). Aceitou Pedro Ivo Sampaio como discípulo.

"Tem sido um início de jornada incrível. Digo início, porque tenho certeza que esta é uma caminhada longa, assim como o meu SiFu costuma desejar a todos os membros ao ingressarem na família Moy Jo Lei Ou. E, nesta longa caminhada, tive a sorte de encontrar pessoas incríveis já no começo. Tenho tido a oportunidade de conviver com o meu Si Sok Felipe Soares(foto), Mestre Qualificado pela MYVT, desde a época que fiz o Ving Tsun Experience. Si Sok Felipe é uma pessoa que expressa seu Kung Fu de uma maneira tão rica e singular que motiva a todos ao seu redor. E o mais interessante, isso acontece de maneira natural. Para ilustrar um pouco o que quero dizer, no meu primeiro mês de prática do Ving Tsun Experience, quando tudo ainda era muito novo para mim, lembro-me de ter tido o seguinte pensamento “Se o Si Sok Felipe gosta e se dedica tanto ao Ving Tsun, é porque isso deve ser muito bom mesmo”. Depois de tanto tempo, é reconfortante saber que ainda o tenho por perto e que ele continua criando cenários para que o meu Kung Fu possa se desenvolver.Durante parte da minha caminhada até aqui, Si Hing Antunes não podia estar frequentando tanto o quanto gostaria o Mo Gun. Mas sempre em que estava com ele, era uma experiência única. Si Hing Antunes é extremamente carismático. Ele faz

parte daquele seleto grupo de pessoas que todo mundo gosta. Credito muito disso a abertura que ele dá aos demais irmãos Kung Fu. Essa abertura só é possível porque Si Hing Antunes se expressa de uma maneira inteiramente verdadeira. A honestidade com que ele trata tudo acerca da vida Kung Fu, me inspira a seguir pelo mesmo caminho.Talvez não tenha tido ninguém, além do Si Sok Felipe e do meu SiFu, que eu tenha convivido tão intensamente quanto o Si Hing Guilherme. Seja dentro ou fora do Mo Gum, a entrega do Si Hing Guilherme a família Kung Fu é emocionante.Si Hing Léo Reis, para mim, é a personificação da figura do Daai Si Hing. É um modelo para todos os seus Si Dais. Sua capacidade técnica é tão impressionante que eu me sinto sortudo só de estar no mesmo ambiente que ele praticando

 O quanto é importante a minha relação com o meu Si Fu? Sem não fosse por ela, creio que nada disso seria possível. Uma vez o meu SiFu me falou que não era imprescindível gostar da pessoa do seu SiFu para que haja uma boa relação Si Fu-To Dai. Confesso que não consigo conceber isso. É claro que a figura de Si Fu serviu de ponto de partida para que eu começasse uma relação com ele. Mas, no entanto, não consigo desassociar a pessoa Julio Camacho da figura de Si Fu, apesar de saber que, ele e eu, como Si Fu e To Dai, temos uma papel a cumprir dentro desta relação. Essa minha inabilidade em realizar tal separação me fez gostar ainda mais do meu Si Fu, porque cada vez mais admiro a pessoa Julio Camacho.  Pensando bem, ao supra citar as pessoas importantes nesta jornada, sempre estive citando o meu S iFu. A qualidade técnica e a maneira de elevar o nível do outro com um sorriso no rosto do Dai Si Hing Léo Reis, a dedicação do Si Hing Guilherme, o brilho nos olhos do Si Hing Pereira, a autenticidade e o carisma do Si Hing Antunes, a paixão demonstrada pelo Glauco e o pensamento despertado pelo Si Sok Felipe “Se ele gosta e se dedica tanto ao Ving Tsun, é porque isso deve ser muito bom mesmo”, tudo isso está no meu Si Fu. Para mim, o Ving Tsun é uma ponte que me liga a mim mesmo, só que, como vocês já devem ter percebido, esta é uma ponte que eu não me vejo construindo sozinho. Fico feliz que, agora  com a honra de me tornar membro vitalício, terei estas pessoas sempre ao meu lado me ajudando a construir esta ponte, assim como tantos outros não citados e também aqueles que sequer conheci e ainda virão a praticar.
Gostaria também de fazer uma menção ao apoio sempre compreensivo da minha namorada e companheira de tampo tempo Livia. Em nenhum momento ela questionou a minha dedicação ao Kung Fu e, mais que isso, sempre fez questão de estar presente oferecendo o seu suporte. Numa caminhada longa, este tipo apoio faz toda a diferença. Para vocês terem noção, ela esteve no mesmo número de cerimônia que eu desde a minha entrada na Família Moy Jo Lei Ou: todas.

Si Sok Felipe is a person who expresses his Kung Fu trough such a rich and unique way that motivates everyone around his . And what is interestingly , is that it happens naturally. To illustrate a little what I mean , in my first month of practice in Ving Tsun Experience module, when it was still very new to me , I remember having had the thought " If  Si Sok Felipe loves and is dedicated to Ving Tsun , is because it must be very good indeed . " After so long , it's comforting to know that I still have he around and he continues to create scenarios that my Kung Fu is able to increase..During part of my journey so far, Si Hing Antunes could not be going much like how I would like to the Mo Gun . But that was always with him , it was a unique experience . Si Hing Antunes is extremely charismatic . He belongs to that select group of people that everyone loves . I Credit this to how much he opens himself to other Kung Fu brothers . This openness is only possible because Si Hing Antunes is expressed an entirely truthful. The honesty which he treats everything about Kung Fu life , inspires me to follow this path. Maybe besides Si Sok Felipe and my SiFu , I have lived  intensely with Si Hing Guilherme . Whether inside or outside of Mo Gum , the dedication of Si Hing Guilherme to Kung Fu Family very touching.

Si Hing Léo Reis , for me , is the embodiment of the figure of a Daai Si Hing . He is a model for all his Si Dais . His technical ability is so impressive that I feel lucky just to be in the same room he is.

How important is my relationship with my SiFu? If was  not for  him , I believe that none of this would be possible. Once my Si Fu told me that it was not essential to like the person of your SiFu to have a good relationship with him . I confess that I can not conceive it . It is clear that the figure of Si Fu served as the starting point for me to start a relationship with him . But nevertheless , I can not disassociate the person of Julio Camacho from the figure of Si Fu , despite knowing that he and I, as Si Fu and To Dai , we have a role to play in this respect . That my inability to perform such a separation made ​​me like he even more than my Si Fu , because more and more people admire Julio Camacho . On second thought , the above quote the important people on this journey , I was always quoting my S I FU . In no time she questioned my dedication to Kung Fu , and more than that, always made sure to be there offering her support . In a long walk  ,this kind of  support makes all the difference . To give you idea , she was in the same number of ceremonies as I since my entry into the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family :I mean: all .

A Cerimônia contou ainda com a ilustre presença dos Mestres Qualificados: Ricardo Queiroz, Ursula Lima, Felipe Soares, Domenico Venturelli e do Mestrando Diego Guadelupe.
Para todos os participantes diretos da Cerimônia, certamente foi uma noite marcante e inesquecível. Mas de tudo que foi dito e experimentado naquela noite, Si Fu disse algo para Pedro Ivo sobre o Baai Si: Segundo Si Fu, a preparação foi longa e exigiu afinco, mas a Cerimônia em si foi bem rápida e simples. E isso era ótimo exatamente porque o discípulado começava naquela noite para Pedro.
Acredito que esse pensamento, seja em vários níveis, adaptável para todos os admitidos na Família, os dois promovidos a novos Domínios dentro do Sistema, e ao novo discípulo.

The ceremony also included the distinguished presence of the Masters : Ricardo Queiroz, Ursula Lima, Felipe Soares, Domenico Venturelli and Mastership Diego Guadelupe. 
To all direct participants of the ceremony, was certainly a remarkable and unforgettable night. But from all that was said and experienced that night, Si Fu said something to Pedro Ivo during his Baai Si:  The preparation was long and required hard work, but the ceremony itself was very quick and simple. And it was great just because discipleship began that night to Pedro. 
I believe that this thought is on many levels, adaptable for all admitted in the Family: The addmited ones, the two promoted for the new domains within the system, and the new disciple.
