The New Disciples of Moy Jo lei Ou Clan Ou (Os Novos Discípulos do Clã Moy Jo Lei Ou)

Ei, você deve estar pensando: "Por que para este Clã é tão importante essa coisa de Baai Si?" - Bom, eu não sei dizer o que isso significa para todos , mas posso falar o que significa para mim... Quem sabe... 
Diferente de seu conceito original, a Cerimônia de Baai Si da qual participei (foto) em Maio de 2007. Foi para mim o coroamento de uma relação com uma pessoa que não é do meu sangue, que nem mesmo é da minha Família, mas que eu resolvi seguir. Para mim foi um orgulho muito grande por várias razões, conseguir chegar até ali. Mas o que eu não sabia, é que era o primeiro grande marco dentro de uma jornada que estava apenas começando... 
Tudo que vivi, tudo o que sorri, tudo o que passei, tudo o que me tornei desde então, de alguma forma, tem a ver com o Si Fu. Não por mágica, não por destino... Simplesmente, porque ele sempre está por ali, e eu resolvi estar também todas as vezes... 
Naquela noite, eu era apenas o segundo cara que resolveu seguir Si Fu em termos vitalícios... No último Sábado porém, os vigésimos sexto, sétimo, oitavo e nono, fizeram o mesmo "Baai Si", bem ali, na minha frente... E foi tão emocionante quanto...

Iuri, o vigésimo nono discípulo a fazer o Baai Si naquela noite, é morador de Jacarepaguá. De fato, nunca entendi muito bem porque ele resolveu ser um membro do Núcleo Méier, se mora em Jacarepaguá. Mas isso agora é passado. Iuri desenvolveu uma relação muito valiosa com Si Fu, que faz dele alguém com transito nos dois Núcleos de nosso Clã. A ponto de não ficar mais claro, de onde ele é membro. "Membro do Clã!" - Isso é mais importante!
Iuri nesse tempo me apresentou a um misterioso conceito chamado "Figura e Fundo", e a partir daí, quando tenho a oportunidade , apresento alguns casos , hipotéticos ou não a Iuri, que é psicólogo e fico perguntando qual o diagnóstico.
Dessa relação engraçada, fui convidado para ser seu apresentador na Cerimônia de Baai Si. Fiquei muito feliz, em poder estar ali com ele. Iuri é um grande cara, você ainda vai ouvir falar dele!

Iuri, the twenty-ninth disciple to do Baai Si that night, is a resident of Jacarepaguá neighborhood. O vigésimo oitavo novo discípulo naquela noite a oferecer chá ao Si Fu foi Pedro Correa(foto) que foi apresentado pela Mestra Ursula Lima(foto). Não lembro exatamente quando conheci Pedro, lembro apenas da nossa primeira conversa. Ele contou sobre uma pancadaria em que se meteu numa boate com seu amigo. Alguns anos depois, arrisquei sair numa noite para jogar sinuca com Pedro. Nada aconteceu! Ficamos à salvo.
Por muitas vezes, Si Fu pediu para checar com Pedro, sobre a possibilidade dele fazer Baai Si na próxima Cerimônia, mas isso nunca acontecia. De fato, não importou muito o tempo que passou. Pedro, manteve a sintonia , a ponto de se preparar para fazê-lo no tempo certo.E foi de certa forma, um sentimento de vitória para todos nós, vê-lo ali na frente.

Pedro, kept the tuning, to the point of preparing to do it in the right time.And it was in a way, a feeling of victory for all of us, to see him up there.

Roberto Viana (foto) foi o vigésimo sétimo novo discípulo naquela noite. Precisou se afastar da Família Kung Fu no ano em que fiz meu Baai Si. Porém, Roberto mesmo de longe, sempre parecia ter uma fina linha invisível, que ligava seu coração ao do Si Fu.
Talvez tenha sido por isso, que diferente de sua primeira passagem, os percalços de seu dia-a-dia que parecem estar maiores , agora que também é pai, não o afetam tanto e ele pôde seguir adiante com o que seu coração mandava e finalmente estava ali. Diante de Si Fu para ofertar o chá.
Tive a felicidade de apresentá-lo nessa Cerimônia. Agora, somos irmãos para sempre!

 Roberto Viana (photo) was the twenty-seventh new disciple that night. He needed to move away from the Kung Fu Family in the year I made my Baai Si. But Roberto, even from a distance, always seemed to have a thin invisible line that connected his heart to Si Fu's.
Perhaps that was why, unlike his first passage, the mishaps of his day-to-day that seem to be greater, now that he is also a father, do not affect him so much and he was able to move on with what his heart commanded and finally he was there. Before Si Fu to offer the tea.

Pois essa foto fala muito sobre ele e sua jornada por si só. Essa foto, fala também um pouco da jornada de todos nós. E talvez, essa foto fale, do que um Baai Si significa.

The First Baai Si Ceremony of Moy Lin Mah Family(O Primeiro Baai Si da Família Moy Lin Mah)

Uma vez ouvi que podemos cruzar toda a distância entre Nova York e Los Angeles dirigindo a noite apenas com as luzes de nossos faróis. Não precisamos enxergar todas as milhas que separam as duas costas, precisamos apenas enxergar os poucos metros a frente. E pouco a pouco, vamos cobrindo todo o percurso e chegaremos ao nosso destino. Acontece, que quando entramos no carro e decidimos girar a chave para ligá-lo, por não conseguir enxergar o destino final,  damos meia volta ou desistimos. As vezes colocaremos a culpa na estrada, no carro, ou tentaremos nos convencer que quando estiver mais claro faremos o trajeto. A escuridão da estrada vai assustar muita gente e fazer tantas outras desistirem,e quando isso acontecer alguns vao chorar... Porém, tantos outros que cruzarem esta distância também estarão chorando quando lá chegarem. Mas vai ser um choro diferente. Um choro difícil de explicar, um choro que não é de tristeza... Mas que apenas quem chora , consegue entender do que se trata...

Talvez por isso Mestre Ursula Lima, Líder da Familia Moy Lin Mah, na noite em que aceitou seus três primeiros discípulos, tenha se emocionado tanto quando o primeiro deles, Rodolpho Alcantra, se levantou para lhe oferecer o chá que ela prontamente aceitou seguida por seu marido Ricardo Lopes,, o colíder desta Família.
Aquele choro não era de alguém que teve coragem e cruzou os EUA de costa a costa na escuridão de uma noite, mas de alguém que caminha por uma estrada muito mais longa , uma estrada para uma vida toda ... A estrada do 'Mo Lam'...
Mas deixando essa coisa abstrata de lado, deixe-me contar sobre um dia...Uma noite melhor dizendo, que marcaria o Ving Tsun na América Latina e talvez até no mundo... E quem sabe assim, você entenda...

Maybe that's why Master Ursula Lima, leader of  Moy Lin Mah Family,at the night she accepted her first three disciples,cried as the first one, Rodolpho Alcantra, rose to offer tea that she readily accepted then by his husband Ricardo Lopes,, the Co-leader of this family.
That cry was not by someone who had no courage to cross the US from coast to coast in the darkness of the night, but someone who walks a much longer road, a road for a lifetime ... The Road of  'Mo Lam '...
But leaving aside this abstract thing, let me tell you about that day ... One night rather, that would mark the Ving Tsun in Latin America and perhaps in the world ... And who knows, you understand ...

Descendo a Avenida Niemeyer , observa-se a direita o Hotel Royal Tulip em São Conrado , cenário da I Titulação de Mestres Seniors da América Latina, da qual meu Mestre Julio Camacho fez parte ano passado, e que no último dia 03 de Outubro foi o palco para a I Cerimônia de Baai Si da Família Moy Lin Mah liderada por Mestre Ursula Lima e seu marido Ricardo Lopes. Naquela noite, Rodolpho Alcantra , Helena C Ribeiro e André Villareal seriam aceitos como discípulos na presença dos representantes cariocas do Conselho de Mestres e do próprio líder deste Conselho e Si Gung dos três : O Mestre Senior Leo Imamura.

Down the Niemeyer Avenue, there is in the right the  Royal Tulip Hotel in Sao Conrado, the place where the I Seniors Masters Ceremony in Latin America was held in 2014, which my Master Julio Camacho took part last year, and on the last October,3 was the stage for the  I Baai Si Ceremony of Family Moy Lin Mah led by Master Ursula Lima and her husband Ricardo Lopes. That night, Rodolpho Alcantra, Helena C Ribeiro and André Villareal would be accepted as disciples in the presence of Rio representatives of the Council of Masters and the leader himself of this Council and Si Gung of the three: The Senior Master Leo Imamura.

No restaurante do hotel , membros das Famílias da Linhagem Moy Yat no Rio de Janeiro, juntamente com seus líderes e convidados ocuparam seus lugares para duas Cerimônias: a primeira delas, a de reconhecimento de Rodolpho, Helena e André como Tutores Qualificados de Nível Básico. Já a segunda, seria a principal: A Primeira Cerimônia de Baai Si da Família Moy Lin Mah

In the hotel restaurant, members of Families of Moy Yat Lineage in Rio de Janeiro, along with their leaders and guests took their places for two ceremonies: the first, the recognition of Rodolpho, Helena and Andre as Tutors of the Basic Level of the System. The second would be the principal: The First Baai Si Ceremony of Family Moy Lin Mah

Tive a honra de , a pedido de Mestre Ursula Lima, fazer a abertura daquela noite tão especial. Sobre o Baai Si, conversando com meu Mestre recentemente, ele falou que este convite muito mais tem haver com um caráter relacional do que qualquer outra coisa. O acesso que um discípulo vai ter a um Mestre e ao que ele tem a oferecer, mesmo depois da Cerimônia que formaliza esta relação, também vai depender muito.
Ouvi certa vez um humorista de Stand-Up indiano dizer que ter um filho, é como pegar um quebra cabeça de mais de mil peças depois de montado, e bagunçar tudo de novo. Segundo ele, conseguimos um trabalho, encontramos uma pessoa disposta viver conosco, nos casamos com ela, vamos morar juntos, e quando a vida está totalmente encaminhada, aparece um filho. E independente de seu planejamento, nada garante que seu filho será um cara legal.

Um Baai Si, para quem vive no Círculo Marcial chinês vai muito além de um casamento, por isso , para um Mestre como Ursula Lima , aceitar em caráter vitalício a convivência com três pessoas é uma responsabilidade muito grande. Pois qualquer um destes três pode mudar a história de sua Família para melhor ou arrebentar com ela . Porém, não pode existir um "Si Fu" sem um "To Dai". Desta forma, se não por vontade ,mas pela sina que carrega com sua posição, o(a) Si Fu precisa aceitar um Dai Ji que possa receber seu legado de qualquer jeito.

A Baai Si, for who lives in the Chinese Martial Arts Circles goes far beyond a wedding, so for a Master as Ursula Lima, accepting in lifelong character living with three people is a great responsibility. Por isso, anote os nomes desses três e guarde bem os seus rostos. Pois eles fizeram história neste mês que passou: Da direita para a esquerda: Rodolpho Alcantra, Helena C Ribeiro e André Villareal.

When you atributes the foundation of our System to Yim Ving Tsun, we understand well that in our Moy Yat Lineage since its founding we have a woman legitimately accepting a disciple in Baai Si Ceremony. Perguntei a Rodolpho(foto) se ele tinha decorado o "Hino da Moy Yat Ving Tsun" que precisaria declamar antes do Baai Si. Rodolpho fingiu que acreditou, mas não aguentamos e começamos a rir. Ele estava bem elegante de preto, e não parecia nervoso a primeira vista. Mas a demora em responder perguntas simples e seus olhos arregalados diziam o contrário antes da Cerimônia começar. Em determinado momento pensei em perguntar "Qual é o seu nome" só para testar quanto tempo ele demoraria para responder..rs Mas acabei esquecendo...
Rodolpho leva muito a sério sua relação com sua Si Fu e seu esposo Ricardo Lopes. É difícil ouvi-lo falar dos dois sem perder as palavras ou mesmo chorar em uma Cerimônia...

Este sentimento que você tem pelo seu Si Fu, é um sentimento que você poderá tentar explicar a um amigo. Mas duvido muito que você tenha sucesso. Mas eu, de alguma forma, consigo entender o Rodolpho...

 I asked Rodolpho (photo) if he had memorized the "Hymn of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun" he would need to recite before the Baai Si . Rodolpho pretended to believe, but can not stand and started laughing. He was very elegant in black, and did not seem nervous at first sight. But the delay in answering simple questions and his wide eyes said otherwise before the ceremony started. At one point thought to ask him "What is your name" just to test how long he would take to answer..lol But I forgot ...
Rodolpho takes very seriously his relationship with his Si Fu and her husband Ricardo Lopes. It's hard to hear him speak of them without losing the words or even cry in a ceremony ...
This feeling that you have at your Si Fu, is a feeling that you can try to explain to a friend. But I doubt very much you to succeed. But I, somehow, I can understand Rodolpho ...

Quando comecei no Ving Tsun , estranhei a falta de faixas como estava acostumado no Tae Kwon Do. Mas com os anos, percebi que o potencial aumenta desta forma. Porque em nosso caso, quando uma pessoa conquista algo, todo o Clã é beneficiado junto. Foi assim quando Mestre Ursula Lima se tornou a primeira mulher Mestre de Ving Tsun na America Latina. Não só ela, como seu próprio Mestre Leo Imamura foram beneficiados, bem como seu irmão kung fu Julio Camacho e todos os outros que participaram de seu processo.
Por isso, ao receber Helena (foto) como discípula, Mestre Ursula estabelece um novo marco não realizado desde que Ng Mui teria aceitado Yim Ving Tsun como discípula: Uma mulher, Helena C Ribeiro, realiza o Baai Si com outra: Mestre Ursula Lima.
Mestre Leo Imamura naquela noite, falou da importância do genero não ser algo crucial em nosso Clã , porém , não poderia deixar de ressaltar esse marco.
Helena para nós do Clã, tem sido a porta-voz da Família Moy Lin Mah já há muito tempo. Sua participação é o diferencial em sua Família e inclusive no Clã em muitos momentos. E , assim como Rodolpho, mas de um jeito diferente . Helena carrega um poderoso sentimento por sua Si Fu, seu esposo e inclusive por sua filha Rebeka...

Se muitas vezes é difícil explicar o sentimento que você tem por seu Si Fu, quando este alcança seus filhos, fica ainda mais complicado de entender. Mas de alguma forma, consigo entender Helena neste aspecto...

When I started in Ving Tsun, I found strange the lack of belts such as was used in Tae Kwon Do. But over the years, I realized that the potential increases in this way. Because in our case, when a person reaches something, the whole clan enjoyed it together. It was so when Master Ursula Lima became the first woman Master of Ving Tsun  in Latin America. Not only her as her own Master Leo Imamura benefited, as well as her kung fu brother Julio Camacho and all others who participated in her process.
So when receiving Helena (photo) as a disciple , Master Ursula  sets a new benchmark not performed since Ng Mui would have accepted Yim Ving Tsun as a disciple: A woman, Helena C Ribeiro, performs the Baai Si with another: Master Ursula Lima.
Master Leo Imamura that night, spoke of the importance of the genre not be something crucial in our Clan, however, could not fail to highlight this remarkable moment.
Helena for us in the Clan, has been a symbol in Moy Lin Mah Family from long ago. Her participation is the difference in her family and even in the Clan many times. And as Rodolpho, but in a different way. Helena carries a powerful feeling for her Si Fu, her husband and even her daughter Rebeka ...
If it is often difficult to explain the feeling you get by your Si Fu, when it reaches their children, it gets even more complicated to understand. But somehow, I can understand this aspect Helena ...

Se por um lado André Villareal ficou melhor de barba feita, me deixou um pouco triste perceber que ele havia tirado seu mullet.  Porém, como a noite era especial, eu deixei essa passar!
Si Suk Queiroz que apresentou Andre naquela noite, falou da emoção que tiveram quando se encontraram num shopping próximo ao local, e começaram a falar de sentimentos que levaram André a se mobilizar para participar daquela Cerimônia. Segundo Si Suk Queiroz,  foi uma decisão que Andre precisou pesar muita coisa para tomar por saber das responsabilidades que este ato implicava em sua vida. Porém mais uma vez , esse misterioso sentimento o colocou naquele lugar naquela noite.
Andre , que originalmente pertenceu a Família Moy Yat Sang, escolheu e foi aceito por Mestre Ursula para o Baai Si. E assim como ele, que também sou pregresso da Família Moy Yat Sang, posso entender esse seu sentimento...

On the one hand Andre Villarreal got better clean-shaven, made me a little sad to realize that he had taken his mullet. But as the night was special, I let that one go!
Si Suk Queiroz who presented Andre that night, spoke of the emotion they had when they met in a mall near the site, and began to speak of feelings that led Andre to mobilize himself to attend that ceremony. According to Si Suk Queiroz, was a decision that Andre had to weigh a lot to take in knowing the responsibilities that this act meant in his life. But again, that mysterious feeling put him there that night.
Andre, who originally belonged to Moy Yat Sang Family, chosen and was accepted by Master Ursula for the Baai Si. And like him, I was also from Moy Yat Sang, I can understand that his feeling ...

E independente das pessoas de fora do Mo Lam, todos nesta foto ao menos. Seja por vias diferentes, por motivos diferentes, por pessoas diferentes. Compartilham deste sentimento. Um sentimento que te faz seguir alguém não porque você se apaixonou ou tem uma relação consanguínea , mas simplesmente porque você escolheu essa pessoa.

And regardless of outsiders of Mo Lam, everyone in this photo at least. Trough  different ways, for different reasons for different people. Share this feeling. A feeling that makes you follow someone not because you fell in love or have a blood relationship, but simply because you chose that person.

Além do Baai Si com sua própria Si Fu, Andre, após Rodolpho e Helena, pôde também fazer o 

Baai Si com seu Si Gung(foto). Não é necessário que alguém faça o Baai Si com o Si Gung. Mas esse processo quando possível traz um símbolo ainda maior para este ato . Pois Si Gung tornou público naquela noite, que compartilhava e dava seu aval a escolha de sua discípula Ursula Lima que recebia naquela noite seus três primeiros próprios discípulos.

Besides the Baai Si with their own Si fu, Andre, after Rodolpho and Helena, might as well do the

Ao realizar o Baai Si com Si Gung, cada um deles recebia do próprio Si Gung um pin do Clã Moy Yat Sang (foto). Um símbolo que apenas discípulos podem portar em seus trajes. 

Upon Baai Si with Si Gung, each received from Si Gung  a  pin of Moy Yat Sang Clan(photo). A symbol that only disciples can carry in their costumes.

Assim sendo, fica aqui o singelo registro da noite de 03 de Outubro de 2015, quando Mestre Ursula Lima fez história novamente. Recebendo os discípulos:

Helena Carneiro Ribeiro: Recebeu o nome Kung Fu Moy Gaap Lin (梅甲蓮), que pode ser interpretado como “A protetora da Família com a natureza feminina da Lótus“

André Ribeiro Villarreal:Recebeu o nome Kung Fu Moy Yuet Mah (梅乙馬), que pode ser interpretado como “Aquele que movimenta a Família com a natureza masculina do Cavalo“

  

So, here is the simple record of the night of October,3. 2015, when Master Ursula Lima made history again. Receiving the disciples:

Rodolpho Raphael Alcantara and Silva: he was named  Moy Gaap Mah (梅 甲 馬), which can be interpreted as "the protector of the family with masculine nature of the Horse"

Helena Carneiro Ribeiro: she was named Moy Gaap Lin (梅 甲 蓮), which can be interpreted as the "protector of the family with the feminine nature of the Lotus"

Invitation for the Baai Si of Marcos Leiras (CONVITE PARA BAAI SI DE MARCOS LEIRAS)

Ontem enquanto me dirigia ao Mo Gun da Barra uma moto , daquele estilo "motocross", passou a toda por mim. Como eu estava ouvindo no carro o meu "Arcade Raid Mix" , que tem a musica " Old Enough To Rock and Roll" do Rainey Haynes. A situação acabou por me lembrar da cena da corrida da moto contra um planador no filme "Águia de Aço" que tocava essa música. Foi muita coincidência! 
A Avenida das Américas estava livre e a moto seguiu sem parar enquanto eu ouvia a tal música chegando até o retorno para entrar na pista do Núcleo Barra.
Esse cenário foi bem diferente daquele que encontrei horas depois: Graças a uma manifestação, toda a Avenida das Américas parou, e só me restou deixar o carro no Mo Gun e ir caminhando até o local onde aconteceria o jantar de convite para "Baai Si" do Marcos Leiras. Um irmão Kung Fu de longa data que é também muito carismático.

Yesterday while driving to MYVT Barra School, a bike,in  that  "motocross" style, pass by my ride´s side very fast. As I was listening in my car my "Arcade Raid Mix", which has the song "Old Enough To Rock and Roll" from Rainey Haynes. The situation turned out to remember the motorcycle racing scene against a plane in the movie "Iron Eagle" wich played this song. It was quite a coincidence!
The Avenue of the Americas was free and the bike went on and on as I listened to that music coming until the return to get on the track to MYVT Barra School.
This scenario was quite different from that found hours later: Thanks to a riot, the whole Avenue of the Americas stopped, and I had to leave the car at Mo Gun and go walking to the location where the invitation to "Baai Si" of Marcos Leiras would happen. A longtime Kung Fu bro who is also very charismatic.

Ainda posso lembrar do meu "Baai Si". Na oporunidade , fiz essa Cerimônia com Paula Gama e Vlad (que aparecem comigo na foto) e também com Thiago Silva e Xenia D'avila. Antes desta noite de 26 de Maio de 2007 porém, participamos de um jantar na casa de Paula Gama, no qual Si Fu e membros do Clã estiveram presentes para a formalização de nosso convite.
Aquela noite talvez, fosse o embrião do que aconteceu mais uma vez ontem no Shopping Downtown...

I can still remember my "Baai Si" Ceremony. On that occasion, I made this ceremony with Paula Gama and Vlad (appearing with me in the photo) and with Thiago Silva and Xenia D'Avila. Before this night of May 26, 2007 however, we attended a dinner at Paula Gama's house, where Si Fu and clan members were present to formalize our invitation.
That night perhaps, was the embryo of what happened again yesterday at the Downtown Mall ...

Ao chegar no Restaurante Gali, várias mesas de madeira se juntavam para formar uma outra grande mesa . Como o ambiente estava escuro, Marcos Leiras levou simpáticas lanternas vermelhas a bateria, e fez uma decoração bem bonita. Sobre cada prato estava um guardanapo com o nome de quem ocuparia aquele lugar.
Marcos trajava uma roupa de monge, algo que chamava a atenção por onde ele passava,mas não perguntei porque ele escolheu aquela roupa, apenas nos abraçamos e um pouco mais tarde Si Fu chegou e preferiu depois de uns dez minutos ir com todos para dentro do restaurante.

Upon arriving at Galli Restaurant, several wooden tables joined to form another large table. As the atmosphere was dark, i Marcos Leiras used nice red lanterns , and made a very beautiful decoration. On each plate was a napkin with the name of who would occupy that place.
Marcos wore a monk clothes, something that drew attention wherever he went, but I did not ask why he chose those clothes, we just hug each other and a little later Si Fu arrived and preferred after about ten minutes to go with everyone inside the restaurant.

Este jantar, representa a primeira etapa do processo de "Baai Si" em nossa Família: Convite durante uma refeição, Cerimônia e entrega do nome Kung Fu na casa do Si Fu.
Si Fu iniciou a noite, perguntando se todos sabiam o que era "Baai Si", após falar sobre o quanto aquele momento era especial para ele.
Si Fu comentou na noite de ontem que "Baai Si"(拜師), significa "reverenciar o Si (師)" , sendo este "Si(師)" componente do termo "Si Mun"(師門) ou o que chamamos de "Família Kung Fu'.
Por isso, "Baai Si"(拜師) neste caso seria algo como "reverenciar os ancestrais".

This dinner is the first step in the process of the  "Baai Si" in our Family: Invitation during a meal, ceremony and the delivery of the  Kung Fu name at  Si Fu's home.
Si Fu began the night, asking if they knew what was "Baai Si," after talking about how much that moment was special to him. Si Fu said last night that "Baai Si" (拜師), meaning is "to honor the Si (師)", which is "Si (師)" component of the term "Si Mun" (師 門) or what we call "Kung Fu Family '.
Therefore, "Baai Si" (拜師) in this case would be something like "honor the ancestors."

Por isso, vemos nesta foto o "Daai Si Hing" da Família Moy Lin Mah, Rodolpho Alcantra, reverenciando a foto de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat ,na Primeira Cerimônia de Baai Si desta Família, que ali representava toda  a ancestralidade do Ving Tsun,
Assim, se no futuro o discípulo se corromper e fizer besteiras, a responsabilidade por seus atos será com o Ving Tsun como um todo, e não apenas com o seu Si Fu.

So we see in this picture the "Dai Si Hing"of  Family Moy Lin Mah, Rodolpho Alcantra, revering a picture of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat, in the First Ceremony of Baai Si of this family which there the pic represented the entire ancestry of Ving Tsun,
So if in the future this disciple became corrupt and do stupid things, the responsibility for his actions will be to the Ving Tsun as a whole, not just with his Si Fu.

A mesa estava composta por discípulos de peso da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou como Pedro Ivo "Moy Yi Woh" ,Carlos Antunes "Moy Shan Si" e Thiago Silva "Moy Chi Yau Si". Antunes é o campeão do "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan" em nossa Família e uma referência em posicionamento ,assim como sempre foi outro irmão Kung fu, Vladimir Anchieta, antes dele. E Thiago Silva é o diretor do Núcleo Barra.
Eu , que sou Diretor do Núcleo Méier e discípulo assim como eles também estava lá. Além de nós Bruno Brandão, Thales Guimarães e Pedro Correa compunham a mesa.
Como "Gaai Siu Yan" , Marcos Leiras convidou o Mestre Felipe Soares "Moy Fei Lap" diretor do Núcleo Freguesia e nosso Si Suk (ou "Tio Kung Fu mais novo". O que significa que ele é da mesma geração de nosso Si Fu, mas entrou na Família Moy Yat Sang depois dele)

The table was made by weight disciples of Moy Jo Lei Ou Family as Pedro Ivo "Moy Yi Woh" Carlos Antunes "Moy Shan Si" and Thiago Silva "Moy Chi Yau Si". Antunes is the champion of the "Luk Dim Bun Gwaan" in our family and a reference as a human being, as has always been another Kung fu brother, Vladimir Anchieta before him. And Thiago Silva is the director of the MYVT Barra School.
I, who am Director of MYVT Meier School and disciple as they are was also there. Besides us Bruno Brandão, Thales Guimarães and Pedro Correa made up the table.
As "Gaai Siu Yan," Marcos Leiras invited the Master Felipe Soares "Moy Fei Lap" director of the MYVT Freguesia School and also our Si Suk (or "Kung Fu younger uncle"). Which means that it is of the same generation of our Si Fu but entered in the Family Moy Yat Sang after him)

Si Fu falou muito sobre sua relação com Marcos Leiras. Uma coisa que sempre foi apoiada no coração de ambos os lados, mas que não tinha a formalização através do "Baai Si". Apenas depois de anos, na noite de ontem, Marcos que a pouco passou por uma situação delicada de saúde pôde finalmente ir até Si Fu pouco antes da Cerimônia da Família Moy Lin Mah no último dia 3 de Outubro, e conversar a sós com ele sobre a possibilidade de realizar o "Baai Si".
Si Fu passou também a palavra aos presentes, em especial seus discípulos que estavam à mesa. Cada um, a seu modo, falou sobre o que entende por ser discípulo, um momento marcante com Si Fu e um possível significado para seu nome Kung Fu.
Para Pedro, Antunes , Silva e também para mim, chega a ser uma árdua tarefa elencar um ou dois momentos de relação que vai além do que podemos descrever em palavras. O que é ótimo. E é por isso, que espero que Leiras a partir deste momento de fato, possa ter essa mesma dificuldade muito em breve.

Si Fu spoke highly about his relationship with Marcos Leiras. One thing that has always been supported in the heart of both sides, but had not formalized through the "Baai Si". Only after years, last night, Marcos Leiras who had a little health problem, finally was able to go to Si Fu just before the ceremony of Moy Lin Mah Family last 3 October, and talk alone with him on the possibility of holding the "Baai Si".
Si Fu also gave the floor to those present, especially his disciples at the table. Each in its own way, spoke about what it means to be a disciple, a defining moment with Si Fu and a possible meaning to its name Kung Fu.
For Pedro ,Antunes, Silva and also for me, becomes an arduous task to list one or two moments of this relationship that goes beyond what we can describe in words. Which is great. And that's why, I hope Leiras from this moment in fact, may have the same trouble very soon..
