MASTER LEO IMAMURA 50th BIRTHDAY(os cinquenta anos de Si Gung)

Hoje estamos aqui para saber um pouco como foi a celebração dos 50 anos de Si Gung Leo Imamura em São João Del Rei, interior de Minas Gerais com organização de Si Taai e muitos membros do Clã Moy Yat Sang, com destaque para Si Baak Anderson Maia, diretor do Núcleo BH, e sua esposa
Si Baak Mo Carla Maia, que trabalharam muito para que pudéssemos aproveitar ao máximo a experiência, e fazer uma homenagem digna para Si Gung.


Today we are here to know a little more how was the celebration of the 50th b-day of Si Gung Leo Imamura in São João del Rei, Minas Gerais State with the organization by Si Taai and many members of Moy Yat Sang Clan , especially Si Baak Anderson Maia  , director of the MYVT School in Belo Horizonte, and his wife Si Baak Mo  Carla Maia, who worked hard so we could enjoy a great experience, and make a worthy tribute to Si Gung.

Este evento foi um divisor de águas por muitas razões, dentre elas, um fato inesperado bem antes de começar, pelo menos para nós do Rio de Janeiro...

This event had no precedents for many reasons, between them, the fact that for the first time ever, my fuel was at max level!

 Pela primeira vez meu tanque de combustível estava no máximo. Isso é algo tão incomum, que juro que ao sair do posto, apenas uma música veio a minha cabeça ao dirigir e olhar pro marcador...

This is so different that at the moment that  I left the gast station, only one song came to my mind while I was looking my fuel filled.

ANIVERSÁRIO DE 50 ANOS DE SI GUNG LEO IMAMURA

SI GUNG LEO´S 50th B-DAY CELEBRATIONS!

Finalmente havíamos chegado. As pessoas ficaram hospedadas em dois hotéis. O nosso, tinha esses chalés com dois quartos em cada. Fui no carro com Jones, e mantendo a cadência como fazia Zidane no meio-de-campo do Real Madrid, cheguei ainda na frente do carro do Si Fu.

Finally we had arrived. People were housed in two hotels. Ours had these cabins with two bedrooms in each. I was in the car with Jones, and keeping cadence as Zidane did in the mid-field of Real Madrid, still arrived before Si Fu.

Um pouco mais tarde, nos encontramos no Hall do hotel, onde Si Sok Leo Mordente nos encontraria para nos guiar até o restaurante. Na foto, vemos eu e Felipe Soares, que também é um Mestre Qualificado.

Com o intuito de não deixar nosso quarto ser saqueado em todos os momentos em que estivéssemos fora, talvez... por ninjas. Jones também salvou minha vida com seu celular, já que o meu passou o evento sem sinal. Deixo aqui meu agradecimento.

Poucas pessoas perceberam que o verdadeiro point da cidade , era o King´s Burger, próximo dali na rua do canal. Nunca vi uma barraca de cachorro-quente tão lotada!

Just a few people noticed that the real hot-spot for joy and fun in this city was "King´s Burger", a hot-dog place near the river which cuts the city where all the young people was.

Seguiamos tranquilos quando de repente um vazamento oriundo de uma colisão fez com que o carro de Si Sok Úrsula parasse.

Imagine: Você, longe de casa, debaixo de um sol senegalês, com seu carro enguiçado.

Eu fiquei incomodado lembrando do episódio em que o Macgyver conserta o mesmo tipo de vazamento com o carro em movimento! E eu ali, sem poder contribuir... mesmo com o carro parado.


We followed quiet when suddenly a leak coming from a collision forced the car to stop.
Imagine: You, away from home, under a Senegalese sun with the ​​car stalled.

Si Baak Gung Miguel que por muitas e muitas vezes recebeu meu Si Fu em sua casa enquanto ele acompanhava Si Gung , estava lá durante o Welcome Drink. Onde todos tiveram a oportunidade de confraternizar.

Si Baak Gung welcomed my Si Fu a lot of times in his home. They were together during the welcome drink. Everyone was able to talk a little...

Todos queriam uma foto com Si Gung. Foi um momento bem emocionante.

Everyone wanted to take a pic with Si Gung. THat was a very nice moment!

A arrumação do lugar do jantar estava maravilhosa. Si Baak Anderson fez a abertura da noite após uma pequena chuva torrencial...

The party was beautiful. Si Baak Anderson made the open speech after a rain.

Acredite se quiser, esse era o bolo! E era todo comestivel!
Até mesmo o pai de Si Gung, se surpreendeu com o fato de mesmo as "pedras" serem comestíveis.

Após os 'parabéns' , Si Gung fez um discurso. E os seus Si Hing, pais e Si Taai Po, fizeram seus depoimentos no dia seguinte. Num momento proposto por Si Baak Anderson, onde tivemos a oportunidade de ouvir histórias marcantes sobre Si Gung.

After the "Happy birthday to you", Si Gung made a speech. His Si hing, parents and Si Taai Po did on the day after. When we also could hear stories about him.

BIG NEWS!CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON 2!!!(GRANDE NOVIDADE: O TIGRE E O DRAGÃO 2!!!)

Depois de faturar 128 milhões de dólares na bilheteria americana e 213 milhões de dólares na bilheteria mundial. "O Tigre e o Dragão" que estreou em 2000, ganhou 4 oscars,e por pouco não ganhou o de melhor filme, perdendo para "O Gladiador".
Com um currículo desses, o filme que lançou Ang Lee (A Vida de Pi) como diretor, vai ganhar uma continuação!!! E o personagem principal será Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh)!!!

After hit the US Box offices(US$ 128 mi) and US$ 213 million worldwide box office. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" which was on screens in 2000, won 4 oscars, and nearly won the Best Picture, losing to "The Gladiator".

BEFORE CARNIVAL IN MOY YAT VING TSUN RIO (PRÉ-CARNAVAL NA MYVT RIO!)

O Carnaval finalmente acabou! Já sabemos que mais uma vez a Portela não ganha esse ano, e que 2013 só começa agora no Brasil.
Durante o Carnaval estive com meu querido irmão Kung Fu Vlad Anchieta e conversamos bastante. Pelo menos eu sempre procuro estar nos lugares mais tranquilos.
Na semana que antecedeu a festa do Carnaval, tivemos momentos marcantes no Núcleo Barra e Méier, e gostaria de compartilhá-los com vocês...

The Carnival is finally over! We know that once again Portela Samba School will not win this year again the Samba School Championship, and that 2013 starts only now in Brazil.
During Carnival was with my dear Kung Fu brother Vlad Anchieta and talked a lot. At least I always try to be at the most peaceful places.
In the week leading up to the Carnival celebration,we had moments at the MYVT schools of Meier and Barra bery remarkables, and I would like to share them with you ...

O dia estava lindo naquela manhã de Domingo. Eram por volta de 7:15 h e tínhamos marcado de tomar café juntos no posto de gasolina. Enquanto lia meu livro, Cynthia e logo depois Joelson chegaram, e se juntaram a mim. E as 8 am em ponto, fomos para o Mo Gun na Barra, a fim de cuidar dele...

The day was beautiful on that Sunday morning. It was around 7:15 AMwee had scheduled to have breakfast together at the gas station snack-bar. While I was reading my book, and Cynthia and Joelson arrived soon after, and joined me. And at 8 AM  we went to the Barra Mo Gun in order to take care of him ...

 O Mo Gun tinha muita coisa a ser feita. E muito trabalho nos esperava naquela manhã. Nos dividimos em 3 cômodos: Cynthia ficou com a cozinha, eu com o banheiro e Joelson com a sala do
Si Fu.

Mo Gun had a lot to be done. A lot of work was awaiting for us! We share the work in three rooms: Kitchen, Bathroom and Si Fu´s office.





Cynthia cuidou muito bem da cozinha, mas pela quantidade de material, não só eu , quanto ela, tivemos que levar parte disso para nossas casas a fim de preservar uma melhor ambiência no
Mo Gun.

Cynthia did great in the kitchen, but she had to take some stuff to her house as I did. To keep the Mo Gun with the better look possible.

No filme "Karate Kid" original, uma das lições de Sr Miyagi a Daniel, é "Pintar a cerca". Daniel enverniza a madeira e aproveita para desenvolver seu Karate como relembramos abaixo.

In original Karate Kid, one of the lessons of Mr Miyagi and Daniel is to paint the fence. Daniel uses varnish to paint the fence and develops his Karate as we watch below:

Joelson é praticante do Núcleo Méier, e trabalha embarcado. Quando está em terra firme, Joelson tem aproveitado ao máximo seus momentos no Mo Gun. Neste dia em especial, Joelson esteve no Núcleo Barra conosco, e assim como Daniel LaRusso, envernizou a mesa da sala do Si Fu, que foi um presente de sua discípula Xenia D'Avila.

Joelson is a practitioner from the MYVT Meier, and works shipped. When he is on solid ground, Joelson has spent ​​the most of his moments in Mo Gun. On this day in particular, at the MYVT Barra . No Kung Fu, tudo tem a hora certa para brotar. Tudo que você precisa fazer, é trabalhar duro para ter as condições mínimas quando o momento chegar. Foi assim para Fabio Sá, que foi o primeiro interessado da história do Núcleo Méier com uma semana de atividades no bairro.
Graças a entrada de Luiz Jardim, Fabio tem sido a pessoa a abrir o Mo Gun nas noites de Quinta sempre auxiliado por Joelson ou André Almeida.

In Kung Fu, everything has a right time to sprout. All you need to do is work hard to have the minimum conditions when the time comes. It was this way for Fabio Sá.
Thanks to Luiz Jardim, Fabio has been the person to open the Mo Gun in Meier on Thursday nights Always supported by Joelson or Andre Almeida.

Para se preparar melhor para estes momentos, na noite de Quarta, fizemos um estudo de uma sessão de Ving Tsun Experience, módulo para aspirantes a membro. Graças a isso também, todos os presentes naquela noite, puderam acompanhar o trabalho e entender melhor juntos, a melhor maneira de mobilizar um praticante.

To better prepare for these moments late on Wednesday, we promoted a study session about  Ving Tsun Experience module for aspiring members. Thanks to that, too, all those present that night were able to follow and understand the work better together, the best way to mobilize a novice practitioner.

Si Fu vinha usando um exemplo interessante ano passado, sobre quando o General é acertado por uma flecha, a guerra tem condições de continuar sem ele por um tempo, porque seus homens de confiança tem fibra suficiente para levar adiante durante sua ausência....

A cena abaixo pra mim sempre foi muito marcante, pois sempre lembrava dos meus irmãos kung fu Carlos Antunes e Thiago Silva. Nela vemos Sing(Stephen Chow) que carrega com ele a responsabilidade de transmitir o Kung Fu Shaolin as gerações futuras deixada por seu Si Fu. Sing porém não consegue convencer seus irmãos Kung Fu, e quando está pensando que não foi capaz de tocá-los, todos resolvem aparecer...

The scene below  has always been very striking for me, because it always reminded of my kung fu brothers Carlos Antunes and Thiago Silva. There we see Sing (Stephen Chow) that carries with him the responsibility to transmit the Shaolin Kung Fu to future generations left by his Si Fu. Sing starts to think that he could not convince his KF brothers, and when he was thinking that he was not able to touch them, they all appears resolved ...
