Não sei em que parte do mundo você está agora ao ler estas linhas, mas se você está no Rio de Janeiro a imagem acima fez todo o sentido pra você!
Tem feito muito, mas muito calor no bairro do Méier! E sempre me vem essa a imagem do Constantine em seu filme homônimo chegando no inferno...
Apesar de estar fazendo todo esse calor, o Núcleo Méier da Moy Yat Ving Tsun começou suas atividades de forma muito intensa em 2014! Mas muita coisa aconteceu durante o recesso de duas semanas...

A querida Si Sok Ursula teve sua primeira oportunidade de viajar até Nova York onde pôde conhecer figuras lendárias como Moy Bin Wah(foto), pessoa responsável por apresentar Si Taai Gung Moy Yat à Família Kung Fu de Ip Man.

No dia 27 de Dezembro passado, eu estava para sair de casa quando recebi uma ligação de Si Sok Ursula pedindo que passasse em sua casa pois ela tinha algumas  coisas para entregar. Mal eu sabia, que das mãos dela, e de seu marido Ricardo Lopes, receberia alguns presentes bem simbólicos (exatamente como gosto!) como o quadro "Nossa Missão", que ficou pendurado por anos no Núcleo Jacarepaguá, o rascunho do livro Tao do Surf de Si Fu, dois quadros dos ancestrais que ficavam exposto também no Núcleo Jacarepaguá, o surpreendente rascunho de outro livro de Si Fu chamado "Ving Tsun - A Arte da Simplicidade" e algumas latinhas especiais para minha coleção:

On the 27th of last December, I was about to leave home for work when I received a call from Si Sok asking me to pass by her home because she had some things to give me.  I could not imagine that from her, and her husband Ricardo Lopes, I would receive some token gifts (just as I like!) As the framework "Our Mission", which hung for years at the old MYVT Jacarepagua School, the draft of the book Tao do surf by Si Fu, two paintings of the ancestors which were also exposed in the old MYVT Jacarepagua School, the amazing draft of another book by Si Fu called "Ving Tsun - the Art of Simplicity" and some special cans for my collection:

Além das latinhas de : Guaraná Jesus, Flamengo anos 70 e Heineken de NY. Ganhei essa de uma bebida que Si Gung tomou em NY(foto). Ela está exposta na prateleira da minha sala juntos dos meus filmes preferidos...

In addition to the cans of  Jesus Guarana ,and Flamengo Team 70's special ediition can and a Heineken can from NY. I Won that one that Si Gung drank in NY(photo). It is exposed on the shelf in my living room together of my favorite movies ...

Naquele mesmo dia, no qual Ricardo Lopes comemorava mais um aniversário, eu ganhei mais um presente: Poder mais uma vez celebrar esta data ao lado do meu querido amigo e irmão kung fu Vladimir Anchieta(foto) que também faz aniversário no mesmo dia!
Uma das pessoas mais leais e de um coração sem tamanho! Vocês precisam conhecê-lo!

Já no Núcleo Méier, com as atividades iniciadas, comecei o ano recebendo um presente do querido irmão kung fu Ailton Jordão. Ailton lê bastante e tem uma capacidade muito grande de achar livros interessantes nos lugares mais improváveis. Geralmente ele sempre os leva para me emprestar ou me presenteia  com eles.

At MYVT Meier School, with activities initiated, started the year getting a gift from dear kung fu brother Ailton Jordao. Ailton reads a lot and has a great ability to find interesting books in the most unlikely places. Generally he always let me take a look for some time or just give me them.

Ailton me deu desta vez o livro "A Arte da Guerra" em quadrinhos. Mais precisamente "Mangá", que são os quadrinhos japoneses! Mais uma vez uma lembrança e tanto!

Ailton gave me this time the book "The Art of War" in comics. More precisely "manga," which are Japanese comics! Again a very nice gift!

Este ano, a foto acima onde tento algo com Si Sok Diego que remeteria ao um Chi Sau(rs) completa 10 anos! 10 anos! Dá pra acreditar?
Esta foto, foi num dia de sol durante nossa prática nas areias da praia da Barra, que você pode acompanhar no vídeo abaixo:

This year, the picture above where I try something with Si Sok Diego that one would refer as Chi Sau (lol) is 10 years old! 10 years! Can you believe it?

O Núcleo Méier fica beeeeem longe da praia! rs Por isso, para não morrermos de calor, temos praticado numa área aberta de nosso prédio. Já faz um tempo também, que abolimos a prática de "treinos coletivos" como chamávamos por sugestão de Si Gung. Mas como as Segundas entre 19 e 20h temos um horário vago, os praticantes têm se reunido para algo mais livre como vemos na foto. Todos se divertem bastante!

The MYVT Meier School is so farawaaaay from the beach! lol So as a way to dont die of heat, we have practiced in an open area of our building. It's been a while too, we abolished the practice of "collective training" as we called it, after a suggestion of Si Gung. But like Mondays between 19 and 20h have a vague time, practitioners have gathered to something more free as we see in the photo. Everyone has fun enough!

Em 2008, Lucas Eustáquio chegava ao local na época denominado Unidade Méier para começar sua prática dentro do módulo "Siu Ye Kuen", que contempla crianças entre 7 e 12 anos. Como vemos na foto ao lado, do ano de 2009, Lucas seguiu firme, e concluiu esse módulo na Cerimônia onde a foto foi tirada.


In 2008, Lucas Eustaquio came to our place at the time called Moy Yat Ving Tsun Meier Studio , to start his practice within the module "Siu Ye Kuen", which includes children between 7 and 12 years old. As we see in the picture, from 2009, Lucas went trough and concluded that module in the ceremony where the photo was taken.

Antes disso, Lucas viveu grandes momentos no local onde funcionava a Unidade Méier. As práticas do
Siu Ye Kuen contavam ainda com dois irmãos, seus amigos, Raphael e Rodrigo Caputo, que o haviam convidado para começar a prática.

Before that, Lucas lived great moments where MYVT Meier Studio was held. The practices in
Siu Ye Kuen also counted with two brothers, his friends, Raphael and Rodrigo Caputo, who had been invited to start practice.

Finalmente em 2010, junto de Jade Camacho e Raphael Caputo, Lucas foi admitido na 

Família Moy Jo Lei Ou por Si Fu , e teve autorização para iniciar o Siu Nim Tau.

So, finally in 2010, Lucas was invited by Si fu to join Moy Jo Lei Ou Family with Raphael and Jade. So he bcame able to start the Siu Nim Tau.

Em 2011, em nosso primeiro dia no Núcleo Méier, Lucas foi o primeiro a chegar junto de Raphael para preparar o local.

Uma pessoa comum vê apenas o que está ali, diante dela, afinal, por que perder uma tarde de Sexta arrumando um lugar, podendo estar em casa ou fazendo qualquer outra coisa? 

Mas como é dito em "A Arte da Guerra" por Sun Tzu(Sun Zi) "...Enxergar uma montanha, não é sinal de boa visão..." 

No invisível, Lucas estava depositando a primeira energia e trabalho duro naquele que seria o terreno de tantas novas histórias....

In 2011, on our first day at the MYVT Meier School, Lucas was the first to arrive with Raphael to prepare the place.
An ordinary person sees only what is there in front of her, after all, why waste an afternoon of Friday packing up a place when you could be at home or doing something else?
But as it is said in "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu (Sun Zi) "... Seeing a mountain, is not a sign of good vision ..."
In the invisible, Lucas was the first to deposit energy and hard work in what would be the land of so many new stories ....

Si Hing Alexandre Ribeiro. Na verdade, após sua prática, eles estavam deixando o lugar melhor do que quando encontraram.

Si Hing Alexandre Ribeiro. In fact, after their practice, they were leaving the place better than when they found it.

Geralmente jovens perdem a atenção muito facilmente. Por isso, uma brincadeira clássica do Siu Ye Kuen, é praticar utilizando um pequeno pote com água na cabeça. Isso faz com que o praticante pense em cada movimento. Seja numa base estacionária ou movendo-se pois caso contrário a água cai do pote. E ontem foi a vez de Daniel experimentar tal sensação...

Generally young people lose attention very easily. So in Siu Ye Kuen, we practice using a small pot with water on the head. This makes the practitioner think about every move. Being on a stationary or moving satnd position, because otherwise the water falls from the pot. And yesterday was Daniel's turn to experience this feeling ...

Realmente o Núcleo Méier tem muita boa sorte com seus praticantes. Daniel é muito inteligente e perspicaz, sua crítica de Homem-de-Ferro 3 foi a melhor que ouvi..rs E sua capacidade de assimilar os movimentos é surpreendente. 

MYVT Meier School really have much luck with its practitioners. Daniel is very smart and insightful, his critique of Iron-Man 3 was the best I've heard .. hehe And his ability to assimilate the movement is amazing.

Uma das histórias de irmãos praticantes de Ving Tsun que mais marcaram nosso Clã no Rio de Janeiro, pelo menos que eu pude acompanhar, foi a de Mestre Felipe Soares, e de sua irmã Fernanda, que se consagraram pelo número de vezes que tiveram que se superar para seguir em frente. Vivendo momentos únicos como a Cerimônia de Baai Si(Discipulado), a qual fizeram juntos em 2004 num hotel da Barra da Tijuca como vemos na foto abaixo...

One of the stories of brothers practicing Ving Tsun that marked our Clan in Rio de Janeiro, at least I could follow, was the story of Master Felipe Soares and his sister Fernanda , who was consecrated by the number of times they had to overcome to move on. Living great moments as the ceremony of Baai Si (Discipleship), which they did together in 2004 in a hotel in Barra da Tijuca neighborhood as we see in the photo below ...

Se Lucas e Daniel se tornarão Mestres ou não, isso não é o mais importante, ainda que as condições para isso serão dadas. Mas se a relação entre os dois, e entre o meio em que vivem e com eles mesmos se tornar melhor, teremos conseguido.

If Lucas and Daniel become Masters or not, this is not the most important, although the conditions for this will be given. But if the relationship between the two, and between they enviroment  and lwith themselves become better, we will have already an special achievement.
