VING TSUN GENEALOGY AT MYVT MEIER SCHOOL (GENEALOGIA DO VING TSUN NO NUCLEO MEIER)

Já faz um bom tempo que ao conversar comigo , Si Gung fala sobre a importância de entendermos que a vivência do Kung Fu não se restringe a prática corporal apenas. O que chamamos de "Treino"...  Na verdade, a idéia de repetição no Kung Fu não permite ao praticante que ele tenha a tomada de consciência referente a experiência que acabou de vivenciar. Essa experiência segundo Si Gung, pode ser vivida de várias formas, por isso na última semana, juntamos os membros do Núcleo Méier para uma experiência referente a Genealogia.

This experience according Si Gung, can be lived in many ways, so last week, we joined members of the MYVT Meier School for an experience related to Genealogy.

Esse momento aconteceu por duas vezes: A primeira na noite de Segunda-feira, e o outro momento ocorreu na manhã de Sábado. Nas duas ocasiões, um material em power point falando sobre a Genealogia de nossa Linhagem que fazia uso dos Kuen Kuit elaborados por Si Taai Gung Moy Yat foi apresentado.

Those moments happened twice: The first one, on the night of Monday, the other moment occurred on Saturday morning. On both occasions, a material made in power point about the genealogy of our Lineage  using the Kuen Kuit prepared by Si Taai Gung Moy Yat was presented.

A Genealogia em pedra foi eternizada por Si Taai Gung Moy Yat e Kong Chi Nam a pedido de Patriarca Ip Man. Uma cópia dos carimbos encontra-se num quadro no Méier e juntos fomos procurando alguns ideogramas relevantes ao que era mostrado.

The Genealogy was immortalized by Si Taai Gung Moy Yat and Kong Chi Nam in stone at the request of Patriarch Ip Man. A copy of the stamps is in a framework in MYVT Meier School and together we went looking for some relevant  characters that was shown during the presentation.

Também foram exibidos dois episódios do programa "Diálogos Marciais" produzidos por Si Baak Nataniel entre outros, nos quais Si Gung falava sobre a importância da Genealogia para o praticante e como ela pode ser encarada através de uma perspectiva não histórica.

Juntos também assistimos a uma versão legendada por nós do vídeo "Reminder"(FOTO) de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat . Representante da nona geração de nossa Linhagem.

Quando surgia uma dúvida referente ao vídeo, debatíamos e por vezes fazíamos o movimento ali na hora para que alguns dos presentes pudessem vivenciar algumas das proposições de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat neste vídeo.

Every time when there was a question regarding the video, we debated and sometimes we made the move there  for some of the guys experience some of the propositions of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat in this video.

Ao final, todos puderam deixar algumas palavras sobre como foi a experiência de tomar contato com essa linhagem que contando conosco chega a doze gerações. Muitos citaram o fato de se sentirem com muita sorte por estarem vivendo esse processo. Outros falaram do quão grandiosa é esta genealogia e da importância de preservá-la para as próximas gerações...

At the end, everyone could leave a few words about how the experience of taking contacting with this lineage reaches to twelve generations counting on us. Many cited the fact that they feel very lucky to be living this process. Others spoke of how great this genealogy is and the importance of preserving it for future generations ...

Porém, todos concordaram na importância das foto serem de Família. Ou seja, são fotos nas quais Si Fu aparece nestes locais históricos durante algumas de suas viagens a China e Hong Kong a fim exatamente de compartilhar este conhecimento.
Para todos ficou claro, o quanto foi importante o esforço pessoal de Si Fu ao estar nestes locais para que, segundo Clayton Quintino por exemplo, pudéssemos por um momento sentir que estes locais são mais próximos, pelo simples fato do Si Fu ter estado presente neles...

NEW LEGENDS OF KUNG FU MASTERS : BRUCE LEE & MEIER SCHOOL

Perdi a conta de quantas revistas comprei com Bruce Lee na capa. Li e reli sua história de vida diversas vezes e parecia nunca enjoar. Quando abria as páginas, apenas pelas fotos conseguia me inspirar a querer praticar uma arte marcial. Bruce Lee parecia saltar das fotos e ter um magnetismo de fazer você querer ser tão incrível quanto ele! Mas sabe o que é mais interessante? Quando nasci, Bruce Lee havia morrido 10 anos antes...  Quando tinha meus 13 anos e comecei a comprar pilhas de revistas de artes marciais , Bruce Lee já havia morrido há 23! E ainda assim, era capa de revista!

I lost count of how many magazines I  bought with Bruce Lee on the cover. I read and reread his story several  times and never seemed to get sick. When I opened the pages, only the photos could inspire me to want to practice a martial art. Bruce Lee seemed to leap from the photos and have a magnetism to make you want to be as awesome as him! But you know what else is interesting? When I was born, Bruce Lee had died 10 years before ... When I was 13 years old and started buying stacks of magazines of  martial arts, Bruce Lee was dead for 23! And still, he was a magazine cover!

Quarenta anos depois, volto a me emocionar com a presença de Bruce no comercial da Johnny Walker!
Alguns fãs xiitas reclamaram que "É um ultraje ligar a figura de Bruce a uma bebida alcóolica"...  Meu amigo,  o comercial é maravilhoso...

Sempre achei que a Johnny Walker tinha feito o melhor comercial de todos os tempos, quando mostraram Roberto Baggio, que perdeu o penalti em 98, entregando o titulo ao Brasil. Narrando seu sentimento ao bater um penalti em 1998 contra o Chile! ( Eu lembro desses jogos!)...

Mas o comercial com Bruce Lee...  Nossa! É insuperável!
Ele termina dizendo para você espectador, se tornar um "divisor de águas"...  Qual outra expressão para definir esse homem que levou as artes marciais para o cinema! Que conseguiu, ainda que nos créditos de abertura seu nome tenha aparecido ao lado do de John Saxon, ser a estrela de um filme de Hollywood, quando chineses não passavam de figuras caricatas no cinema americano?

Algumas pessoas questionam se Bruce Lee foi mesmo isso tudo... Veja, eu não sou um fanático, mas a sua importância está no que ele deixou ... Nas portas que ele abriu.
A maioria das pessoas acreditam que existe uma hora certa para as coisas acontecerem... Existe um momento certo para aquela oportunidade chegar até você. Acredite: Se você esperar por essa hora certa, se você esperar por essa oportunidade, elas nunca vão chegar... Você precisa criá-las!

Eu sei que alguns de vocês que estão lendo, podem estar cansados do que tem acontecido. Acredito que alguns outros possam não suportar falhar novamente. Você pode achar que algo que você sonha não pode ser alcançado, ou que algo pelo que você está passando não pode ser superado, mas como um praticante de artes marciais, você precisa entender que os maiores desafios se apresentam de forma que você não pode derrotar socando ou chutando.

Bruce Lee era míope , com uma baixa estatura e uma perna menor do que a outra. E mesmo assim, fez de seu nome, um símbolo de eficiência corporal.
Quando eu chegava na antiga escola de dança(foto) onde funcionávamos por vários anos no Méier , eu não sabia onde aquilo tudo iria me levar. Mas sabe o que me orgulho nessa história? Não é de onde ela me levou... Mas sim, de como a vivi. Nos melhores e piores momentos, eu tenho o sentimento que fiz tudo com o coração.
Eu não tirava o calçado para entrar no local de prática. Não precisamos fazer isso em nosso Clã. Mas qualquer problema , eu deixava fora da sala, e entrava com todas as forças que dispunha para estar com os irmãos Kung Fu naquele local...

Quando vi esse comercial, pensei no quão longe Bruce Lee chegou...40 anos depois de sua morte!
E em que momento ele tomou essa decisão de se tornar uma lenda. Bom, quanto a mim, eu não sei onde posso chegar. Mas sempre penso nisso!
No comercial , Bruce diz : "Dragões não morrem" ...   . Sabe, você pode viver pra sempre na memória das pessoas.
Eu quero acreditar que eu vivo os meus dias num mundo que sonhei. Com pessoas que sonhei. Fazendo coisas que sonhei!

A primeira vez que Si Gung entrou pela porta do Núcleo Méier(foto), eu juro que não sei o que estava passando pela cabeça dele. Mas eu lembro do que pensei naquele milésimo de segundo como se fosse hoje:
Um ano antes daquele momento, num momento em que estava muito triste, Si Gung perguntou para mim se eu queria ter um Mo Gun. Era um fim de tarde no Núcleo Barra e ele olhava para o outro lado da Avenida das Américas enquanto falava comigo. Respondi que sim. Si Gung prosseguiu:
 "Como você imagina esse Mo Gun?"  . Eu disse que o imaginava no Méier. Um local pequeno mas com pessoas incriveis. Si Gung sorriu e passou seu braço esquerdo pelo meu ombro dizendo: "Eu acho que você pode. Você é um cara legal." - Ele sorriu e me abraçou...

Hoje o Núcleo Méier, um sonho confessado à Si Gung num momento tão ruim, vive no coração de muitas pessoas: As que já passaram por lá, as que ainda vão voltar, as que estão lá, e as que ainda nem chegaram... Todas elas, caminharam sobre o meu sonho, e enquanto estiveram lá dentro puderam compartilhar dele.

Today the MYVT Meier School, a dream confessed to Si Gung in a sad moment, live in the hearts of many people: Those that have gone through there, those who will still come back, those that are there, and those that have not arrived yet ... All of them walked on my dream, and while they were there they could share it.

É difícil, mas devemos nos entregar às nossa visões. Digo isso, porque se eu puder me orgulhar de ter sido um ponto de apoio para diferentes pessoas se desenvolverem tanto fisicamente quanto como seres humanos, tudo terá valido a pena.
Porque como dito acima: "Não podemos mudar as pessoas com os punhos, mas inspirando seus corações."

It is difficult, but we must be passionate for our visions. I say this because if I can be proud to have been a point of support for different people to develop both physically and as human beings, everything will be worth it.
