"Da Hung Jong" (打空樁) study at MYVT MEIER SCHOOL

 

No último Sábado,alguns dos membros seniores da minha Família Kung Fu, se reuniram comigo para que juntos pudéssemos estudar o  "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁). Este estudo ocorreu em função de uma dúvida do meu discípulo Vitor Sá, que acreditei ser potencialmente benéfico para outros que se interessassem. Com isso, nos reunimos na noite de Quarta para um pré-evento e no Sábado, já mais sintonizados, conseguimos fazer um trabalho razoável com a ajuda do Programa Moy Yat Ving Tsun, de vídeos disponibilizados pelo Insituto Moy Yat, e claro: A partir de consultas e contribuições do meu Si Hing Leonardo e do meu Si Fu. 

Para mim, era importante que meus discípulos entendessem o "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁) , como um momento potencial, para que a pessoa se torne no futuro, uma especialista em exploração das listagens do Sistema. É como se ao seguir praticando a sequencia do "Da Jong" (打樁) da mesma maneira que você teve acesso no primeiro dia, no fundo você não entendeu nada. Perceber como se apoiar na configuração do boneco para perceber que na Dimensão Kung Fu muito mais vale a “coerência profunda” do que o “o certo e errado”, nos ajuda a perceber porque o Domínio “Mui Fa Jong” está na fase do Sistema a qual chamamos na Moy Yat Ving Tsun de “Fase Semi-estruturada”. Estudar essa coerência, nos auxilia a ver como simples balanço do boneco preso na hastes, faz referencia as ondulações do corpo humano, e como isso permite entendermos como abordar o momento do boneco onde ele está mais comprometido. Com isso, no futuro poderemos entender o momento do adversário, para atuar sobre ele quando este estiver mais enfraquecido. Uma noção do que seria a “conduta feminina” em termos de inteligência estratégica.

Last Saturday, some of the senior members of my Kung Fu Family gathered with me so that together we could study "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁). This study took place due to a question from my disciple Vitor Sá, which I believed to be potentially beneficial for others who might be interested. With that, we got together on Wednesday night for a pre-event and on Saturday, now more in tune, we managed to do a reasonable study with the help of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Program, videos made available by the Moy Yat Institute, and of course: From consultations and contributions from my Si Hing Leonardo and my Si Fu Julio Camacho.

For me, it was important for my disciples to understand "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁) as a potential moment for one to become an expert in exploring the listings of the System in the future. It's as if by continuing to practice the sequence of "Da Jong" (打樁) in the same way that you had access to on the first day, deep down you didn't understand anything. Realizing how to rely on the Wooden Dummy configuration to realize that in the Kung Fu Dimension “deep coherence” is much more important than “right and wrong”, helps us to understand why the “Mui Fa Jong” Domain is in the System phase which we call in Moy Yat Ving Tsun the “Semi-structured Phase”. Studying this coherence helps us to see how the simple swing of the Dummy  attached to the rods makes reference to the undulations of the human body, and how this allows us to understand how to approach the Dummy's moment where it is most committed. With this, in the future we will be able to understand the moment of the opponent, to act on him when he is more weakened. A notion of what “female nature conduct” would be in terms of strategic intelligence.

Tudo isso parece coeso, e é nessa hora também, que temos a importância do "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁), como elemento validador do  "Da Jong" (打樁). E aqui, observamos que quando meu Si Fu diz que - “...Você pode fazer do jeito que quiser, mas só tem um jeito de fazer...”- Observamos que não existe total liberdade na prática do "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁), pois mais uma vez, a nossa lógica para expressá-lo, precisa estar submetida a uma coerência. Esse estudo pode ser feito a dois ou de maneira solitária. 

Foi muito especial ver o comprometimento dos presentes em usar aquele tempo para chegar a novas conclusões. Com tudo o que temos estudado nos últimos meses, a inteligência adquirida em um determinado tópico, pode agora ser transposta para que se entenda outro. E essa habilidade de enxergar as interconexões é um trabalho árduo, mas possível. 

Em vários momentos, meus discípulos se incomodavam de não saber “como fazer”, porém, nao se davam conta de que já estavam numa etapa muito importante, a da “ignorância consciente”. Na qual você passa a ter consciência do que não sabe, e a falta de coerência no encadeamento dos seus gestos, dá pequenos indícios que aquele não é o caminho a se seguir, ainda que você não tenha descoberto, que caminho seria esse.

All this seems cohesive, and it is also at this time that we have the importance of "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁), as a validating element of "Da Jong" (打樁). And here, we observe that when my Si Fu says that - "... You can do it the way you want, but there is only one way to do it..." - We observe that there is no total freedom in the practice of "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁), because once again, our logic to express it, needs to be submitted to coherence. This study can be done in pairs or alone.

It was very special to see the commitment of those present to use that time to reach new conclusions. With everything we have studied in recent months, the intelligence acquired on a given topic can now be transposed to understand another. And this ability to see the interconnections is hard work, but possible.

At various times, my disciples were uncomfortable with not knowing “how to do it”, however, they did not realize that they were already in a very important stage, that of “conscious ignorance”. In which you become aware of what you don't know, and the lack of coherence in the sequence of your gestures, gives small indications  that is not the path to follow, even if you have not discovered which path that would be.

Percebo cada dia mais, meu grande desafio em me tornar um especialista em cada um de meus discípulos. Saber mais sobre eles, e entender a lógica de cada um, pode me permitir fazer um trabalho mais personalizado e que favoreça com que eles se reconheçam como pessoas capazes de um amor pelo estudo, que fará com que eles deem voos mais altos do que eu jamais sonhei dar. 

Essa não é uma tarefa fácil, mas saber gerir as diferentes personalidades, abraçando a diversidade de cada um, desde aquele mais questionador até aquele que aceita o que é dito sem refletir. Tem sido um trabalho acima de tudo muito divertido. Se no final da caminhada, eu não tiver discípulos capazes de contribuir comigo em alto nível, o trabalho não terá sido bem feito. Por isso, a capacidade de explorar, a capacidade de driblar o intelecto através do corpo ao entender a coerência do ordenamento dos movimentos, de não se apoiar em qualquer situação mas apenas naquelas que portam efeito, e não enxergar apenas o que queremos. Podem ser apreciadas quando se estuda o "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁).

I realize more every day, my great challenge in becoming an expert in each of my disciples. Knowing more about them, and understanding the logic of each one, can allow me to do more personalized work and help them recognize themselves as people capable of a love for the endless study, which will make them fly higher than I ever dreamed of doing.

This is not an easy task, but knowing how to manage different personalities, embracing the diversity of each one, from the most inquisitive to the one who accepts what is said without reflecting. It has been a lot of fun work above all else. If, at the end of the journey, I don't have disciples capable of contributing with me at a high level, the work will not have been well done. Therefore, the ability to explore, the ability to circumvent the intellect through the body by understanding the coherence of the ordering of movements, to lean on any situation but only those that have an effect, and not just see what we want, can be appreciated when studying "Da Hung Jong" (打空樁).
