VING TSUN EXPERIENCE IN RIO DE JANEIRO

 Reuni algumas pessoas no último Sábado, para estudarmos o Nível 1  do Ving Tsun Experience. Sendo o Ving Tsun Experience, um programa inspirado na visão do Patriarca Moy Yat, que viabiliza o interesse de diferentes pessoas em experienciar o alto nível de um sistema de Kung Fu por meio das características do Sistema Ving Tsun, em termos de fases, modalidades e naturezas dos seus domínios.

Como ainda não chegamos ao novo ano chinês, considerei este o último grande encontro do Ano do Tigre. E por conta de uma boa consistência nos trabalhos apresentados desde 2020 quando tivemos o isolamento por conta da pandemia, o pessoal tem acreditado e comparecido como nunca antes. 

I gathered some people last Saturday to study the Ving Tsun Experience Level 1. Being the Ving Tsun Experience, a program inspired by the vision of Patriarch Moy Yat, which enables the interest of different people in experiencing the high level of a Kung Fu system through the characteristics of the Ving Tsun System, in terms of phases, modalities and nature of its domains.

Since we haven't reached the Chinese New Year yet, I considered this the last big gathering of the Year of the Tiger. And due to good consistency in the works presented since 2020 when we had the isolation due to the pandemic, the practitioners have believed and attended like never before.

Esse trabalho contou com a anuência do Si Gung [GM Leo Imamura] e do meu Si Fu [Mestre Julio Camacho]. Então contamos com a presença de praticantes de diferentes gerações e de diferentes momentos naquela manhã... 

Eu estava muito confiante de que ao apresentar um olhar renovado sobre o trabalho que fazemos a tanto tempo, os inspiraria a estudar mais inclusive o Sistema Tradicional.  Eu tinha 6 horas para conseguir criar esse cenário potencial... 

This work had the consent of Si Gung [GM Leo Imamura] and my Si Fu [Master Julio Camacho]. So we had the presence of practitioners from different generations and from different moments that morning...

I was very confident that by presenting a fresh look at the work we've been doing for so long, it would inspire them to study even more of the Traditional System. I had 6 hours to come up with this potential scenario...

Esse estudo foi o desdobramento de uma série de acontecimentos desde uma das visitas do Si Gung ao Núcleo Freguesia. Ele mesmo disse-me que seria bacana se pudesse estar junto de um grupo de Mestres e Mestres Seniores de diferentes gerações semanalmente, num estudo on line conduzido por ele. Junto comigo, meus irmãos Kung Fu Thiago Silva e Roberto Viana também se faziam presentes. Roberto em particular ficou encantado com o que encontrou nesses estudos, e muito animado para praticar o Ving Tsun com o espírito de um iniciante. Importante levar em conta, que o Roberto este ano completa 20 anos na Família. 

This study was the unfolding of a series of events since one of Si Gung's visits to MYVT Freguesia School. He himself told me that it would be great if I could attend a group of Masters and Senior Masters from different generations weekly, in an online study conducted by him. Along with me, my Kung Fu brothers Thiago Silva and Roberto Viana were also present. Roberto in particular was delighted with what he found in these studies, and very excited to practice Ving Tsun with the spirit of a beginner. It is important to take into account that this year Roberto completes 20 years in the Family.

Eu cito muito meu Si Fu e nossas histórias nesses encontros. Acredito que favorecer com que os praticantes mais antigos possam redescobrir a paixão pelo Ving Tsun através do Ving Tsun Experience, é também uma forma de inspirá-los a fazer o mesmo por eles e por quem está chegando. Quanto aos novatos que participaram, eles podem ver um pouco da profundidade que nossa Linhagem tem a oferecer. 

Foi uma manhã bem especial...

I quote my Si Fu and our stories a lot in these meetings. I believe that helping older practitioners to rediscover their passion for Ving Tsun through the Ving Tsun Experience is also a way to inspire them to do the same for themselves and for those who are coming. As for the rookies who participated, they got to see some of the depth our Lineage has to offer.

It was a very special morning...
