essa impactante frase é possível descrever a Mestra de Ving Tsun Ursula Lima.
Prestes a
completar quarenta anos de idade, desde os dezesseis, pratica ininterruptamente
a arte marcial de origem chinesa chamada “Ving Tsun” sob a responsabilidade do
também brasileiro, Grão-Mestre Leo Imamura.

O “Ving
Tsun” é uma arte marcial chinesa que data da era do reinado do imperador Yung
Jing. Essa arte marcial , recebeu o seu nome em homenagem a sua fundadora : Yim
Ving Tsun.
O fato de
ser uma arte marcial fundada por uma mulher, é um carcaterística que a
disntigue completamente das demais, tendo em vista que é exatamente essa
característica que potencializa em sua prática o conceito de “Feminilização da
Guerra”.
Segundo o
Grão-Mestre Leo Imamura, mentor da Mestra Ursula , a “Feminilização da Guerra” também pode ser entendida como "A exploração da natureza feminina da prática corporal de combate simbólico, como forma de melhor ouvir a realidade."
The "Ving Tsun" is a Chinese martial art dating back to the era of the reign of Emperor Yung Jing. This martial art was named in honor of its founder: Yim Ving Tsun.
The fact that it is a martial art founded by a woman, is a characteristic that completely dissociates from the others, considering that it is precisely this characteristic that enhances in its practice the concept of "Feminization of War".

Ursula é a primeira Mestra de Ving Tsun reconhecida do planeta, pela International
Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation. Federação esta,
ligada a mundialmente respeitada Linhagem Moy Yat. Da qual Mestra Ursula
Lima descende diretamente. Porém, para
alcançar este patamar não foi fácil, já que numa sociedade patriarcal como a
brasileira, sua condição de Mestra de Ving Tsun a torna única , não só em nosso
país, como em toda a América Latina.
Ela começou
sua prática graças a uma incrível coincidência: Seu primo, o Mestre Senior
Julio Camacho que acabara de se tornar um representante do Grão-Mestre Leo
Imamura para o Estado do Rio de Janeiro, começou sua carreira como
profissional, dando aulas no terraço da casa dos seus pais: “... Eu via o Julio
subindo para o terraço com o pessoal para treinar e às vezes ia espiar. Só
cheguei a praticar lá em cada uma única vez, pois logo depois fomos para o
primeiro Núcleo licenciado no mesmo bairro em Agosto de 1995....” – Diz a
Mestra que faz também referência ao fato de ser uma mulher, numa atividade
muitas vezes vista como predominantemente masculina: “... No início tive que,
de certa forma, ‘conquistar’ minha posição, lutando para não ser desconsiderada
e às vezes acho que fui até um pouco além. Porém, acredito que era preciso naquele
momento. Sempre tive muito apoio de meu Mestre que me dizia : ‘ Ursula, você é
uma mulher, não queira lutar como homem..’ . E também do Julio, que além de
sempre me possibilitar situações em que eu pudesse me colocar, me deu uma
experiência corporal que eu realmente pudesse acreditar que não dependia do
gênero, masculino ou feminino, mas do Kung Fu...”
Master. Ursula is thefirst Ving Tsun female Master recognized on the planet by the International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation. This Federation is linked to the world-renowned Moy Yat Lineage. Of which Master Ursula Lima descends directly. However, to reach this level was not easy, since in a patriarchal society like the Brazilian one, her condition of Ving Tsun Master makes it unique, not only in our country, but also in all of Latin America.
She began her practice thanks to an incredible coincidence: her cousin, Senior Master Julio Camacho, who had just become a representative of Grand Master Leo Imamura for the State of Rio de Janeiro at the time, began his professional career teaching classes on the rooftop of her parents' house: "... I used to see Julio going upstairswith his students to train and sometimes I went to spy. I only practiced there one single time, because soon afterwards we went to the first Licensed school in the same neighborhood in August 1995 .... "- Says Master Ursula, who also refers to the fact that she is a woman, in many activities sometimes seen as predominantly masculine: "... At first I had to, in a way, 'conquer' my position, struggling not to be inconsiderate and sometimes I think I went even further. But I believe it was necessary at that moment. I always had much support from my Master who said to me: 'Ursula, you are a woman, do not try to fight like a man.' And also Julio, who in addition to always allowing me into situations in which I could put myself, gave me a corporal experience that I really could believe was not dependent on gender, male or female, but on Kung Fu ... "

Geralmente a
prática do “Kung Fu”, é vista como algo voltado para jovens ou pessoas que são
capazes de grandes feitos corporais. Isso se deve , segundo o Professor da

Ni, ao fato de que quase a maioria das pessoas no ocidente tiveram acesso ao
conceito de “Kung Fu” através de filmes. Ele diz , em artigo para o New York
Times. Que a essencia do Kung Fu , se relaciona com a busca de desenvolvimento
humano e como viver a vida
Já o mentor
de Mestra Ursula, Grão-Mestre Leo Imamura, fala que não é possível ensinar o
Kung Fu, apenas aprendê-lo. Além disso, a pessoa que o aprende, não percebe que
está aprendendo. Daí, a importância de
um Mestre qualificado como Ursula Lima, que seja capaz de prover experiências
significativas a pessoas de qualquer idade e estrutura corpórea. Segundo ela, o
conceito de “defesa pessoal”, pode ser também entendido: “... Ving Tsun é uma
arte marcial, que vai possibilitar a ‘defesa pessoal’. O que é ‘defesa
pessoal’? ‘Pessoal’ vem de ‘pessoa’ e esta pessoa é um ser humano. Então quando
falamos em ‘defesa do ser humano’, essa ‘defesa’ pode ser em vários níveis. Você
pode ter que se defender fisicamente, verbalmente, emocionalmente. Então um dos
potenciais do Ving Tsun para a vida de uma pessoa, é que talvez esta pessoa precise
lidar com ambientes em que ela precise se defender. Porém, de forma que ela use
o mínimo possível, para sair daquela situação. E percebe-se, que muitas vezes
teremos que nos defender muito mais emocionalmente em nosso dia a dia, do que
fisicamente... Então a rigor, o Ving Tsun vai lhe possibilitar desenvolver-se
como ser humano...”
