THE VING TSUN SECRET TECHNIQUE: LAP SAU ( A TECNICA SECRETA DO VING TSUN: LAP SAU)

Acima sou eu demonstrando o "Siu Nim Do" no dia em que fui admitido na Família Kung Fu. Ao fundo está Si Sok Ursula ainda com seus 19 anos. E hoje eu queria falar para você leitor sobre a técnica secreta do Ving Tsun: O "Lap Sau".
O Lap Sau é um conteúdo que você pratica ainda no Siu Nim Tau, o primeiro domínio do Sistema. O que o Lap Sau tem de tão especial?  Bom, é uma longa história. Mas eu vou tentar resumir em poucas linhas para que você entenda....

Above I'm showing the "Siu Nim Do" on the day I was being admitted to the Kung Fu Family. Behind me was Si Sok Ursula when she was 19 years old. And today I wanted to tell you readers about the secret technique of Ving Tsun: The "Lap Sau." 
The Lap Sau is a content that you will practice during Siu Nim Tau in the first domain of the system. What the Lap Sau's so special? Well, it's a long story. But I'll try to summarize in a few lines for you to understand ....

Este é o Si Fu. Ele era assim quando comecei. Para mim um super-herói! Ele sempre demonstrava movimentos de uma maneira incrível e sempre tinha algo interessante para dizer sobre qualquer tema. Parecia que ele sabia um pouco sobre tudo e que era capaz de fazer qualquer coisa...   Mas no Ving Tsun, você começa pelo Siu Nim Tau. E para mim, isso foi um grande desafio...

This is  Si Fu. He was like that when I started. For me a superhero! He always showed movements in an incredible way and always had something interesting to say on any topic. It seemed that he knew a little about everything and could do anything ... But in Ving Tsun, you start in Siu Nim Tau. And for me, it was a great challenge ...

Si Sok Paulinho abria o Mo Gun de Jacarepaguá(foto) nas manhãs, meus momentos de prática eram com ele no Siu Nim Tau. E o Si Sok precisou de muita paciência comigo. Eu não conseguia entender porque eu precisava "Perder" tanto tempo praticando o "Lap Sau"... Eu queria logo passar pelos niveis para aprender a lutar como o Si Fu! Mas não...  Todos os dias, não importava o quanto eu matasse aula na escola para ir ao Mo gun , não importava se eu também fosse duas vezes no mesmo dia, era sempre a mesma coisa: "Lap Sau", "Lap Sau", "Lap Sau"...

Si Sok Paulinho used to open the Mo Gun in Jacarepaguaneighborhood (photo) in the mornings, my moments of practice were with him during the Siu Nim Tau. And Si Sok had a lot of patience with me. I could not understand why I needed to "lose" so much time practicing the "Lap Sau" ... I just wanted to go through the levels to learn how to fight like Si Fu! But no ... Every day, no matter how I skip school to go to Mo gun, no matter if I was went twice on the same day to Mo Gun, it was always the same: "Lap Sau", "Lap Sau", "Lap Sau "...

Eu tinha 15 anos(foto), e ainda assistia meus desenhos. Lembro que num dia, ia passar um episódio importante de um desenho que gostava muito. Na época, a internet era discada e não existia youtube pra ver depois. Eu deixei de ver aquele episódio que tanto esperei pra ir ao Mo Gun. Achei que com tanta devoção algo mudaria, mas para minha surpresa o conteúdo foi o mesmo: "Lap Sau"...  E assim se seguiu por 4 meses...

I was 15 years old(photo), and I used to like watching animes. I remember one day, the TV Channel was going to show a significant episode of an anime that I liked a lot. At the time, the internet was dialed and there was no youtube to watch later. If I failed to see that episode, I would have no other chance! But I decided to go to Mo Gun. I thought something would change with such devotion, but to my surprise the content was the same: "Lap Sau" ... And so it went for 4 months ...

Por vezes eu achei que o Si Fu estava me testando... Só podia ser isso! Ele sabia o quanto eu queria me movimentar livremente e "Lutar"...  Eu tive certeza que era de propósito quando no terceiro mês ele passou numa manhã por mim e pelo "Pobre" Si Sok Paulinho e disse: "Enquanto continuar fazendo força não vai sair do Lap Sau..."

Sometimes I found that Si Fu was testing me ... It could only be that! He knew how much I wanted to move around freely and "Fighting" ... I made sure it was on purpose when in the third month he passed by me one morning and said: "While you keep trying to use just strengh  youll continue working your Lap Sau ..."

Existe um dito "Kwong Tak Yeuk Bat Juk" que pode significar segundo Si Sok Leonardo Mordente: "A larga virtude parece insuficiente".
Por várias vezes não só Grão-Mestre Moy Yat(foto) como seu Si Fu, Patriarca Ip Man foram acusados de não estarem ensinando Ving Tsun. Talvez pela aparente negligência pedagógica , que nada mais era do que uma apurada e sutil eficácia na transmissão da arte. Na qual se espera que os efeitos se manifestem no praticante, mas que eles não sejam associados a seu verdadeiro autor, o Si Fu.

There is a saying "Kwong Tak Yeuk Bat Juk" that may mean second Si Sok Leonardo Mordente: "The large virtue seems insufficient." 
At various times not only Grand Master Moy Yat (photo) as his Si Fu, Patriarch Ip Man was accused of not teaching Ving Tsun. Perhaps the apparent educational neglect, which was nothing more than a refined and subtle effectiveness in passing down the art. Where the effects are expected to manifest themselves in the practitioner, but they are not associated with its real author, the Si Fu.

Eu avancei no Sistema, eu vi outros conteúdos. Mas se você me perguntar qual o meu preferido e qual considero o mais importante, eu não vou pensar duas vezes em dizer "Lap Sau".
Porque eu não sei se foi por perseverança, se foi por um trabalho de monitoramento sutil do Si Fu na época, não sei se foi pelo esforço do Si Sok Paulinho, ou por mera sorte... Mas eu fiquei.

I advanced into the system, I saw other contents. But if you ask me what is my favorite one and what I consider the most important, I will not think twice to say "Lap Sau." 
Because I do not know if it was perseverance, if was the way of Si Fu at the time, do not know if it was the effort of Si Sok Paulinho on me, or mere luck ... But I stayed in the Family.

Eu fiquei na Família tempo suficiente pra perceber o quanto eu era chato, o quanto o Si Fu foi paciente. Eu fiquei tempo suficiente pra ver praticantes que eu nunca , nem em sonho, iria imaginar que se afastariam e se afastaram, o que sempre me deixou muito triste.

I stayed in the family enough time to realize how much I was spoiled child, or how Si Fu was patient with. I stayed long enough to see practitioners that I have never, even in dreams, would imagine they would  move away from the Family, which always made me very sad.

E eu fiquei tempo suficiente pra estar do outro lado, o lado de quem transmite a arte. Pra ver um ou dois outros praticantes na casa dos 16, com pressa, uma pressa diferente da minha: Não pra lutar, apenas pressa... E quem diria ,que logo eu, não soube permitir que eles descobrissem a técnica mais importante do Ving Tsun.

And I stayed long enough to be on the other side, the side who passes down the art. To see one or two other practitioners in their 16 years old,in a hurry, a hurry different  of mine at the time: not to fight, just hurry ... And who would imagine that  I do not know how to let them discover the most important technique of Ving Tsun.

Mas se você realmente achou que eu estava falando sobre o "Lap Sau" até agora, não era isso... É o que aprendi enquanto aprendia o "Lap Sau"...  Mas sobre isso não tenho como escrever. Apenas espero que você permaneça praticando tempo suficiente para descobrir qual a sua técnica secreta do Ving Tsun...

But if you really think I was talking about the "Lap Sau" until now, was not about it ... It's what I learned while I was learning the "Lap Sau" ... But  I am unable to write about this . I just hope that you remain practicing time enough to figure out what is your secret technique in Ving Tsun  ...

A Kung Fu afternoon in Meier's Moy Yat Ving Tsun Mo Gun (Uma tarde de Kung Fu no Méier!)

Era uma tarde bonita de sol lá no Méier, quando cheguei com Jade, que antes de sua sessão cuidou do
Mo Gun.

It was a sunny afternoon in Meier neighborhood, when me and Jade (12G VT)  arrived at the Mo Gun and she took care of it before start trainning...

Guilherme chegou mais tarde e teve a oportunidade de trabalhar com a jovem Jade em sua "última" sessão de Siu Nim Tau.

That was the day for her last Siu Nim Tau session. Guilherme (12G VT) worked directly with her.

Ainda lembro da minha próprio com Si Hing Mauro Lima em 2000. Por isso foi bem marcante para mim este momento, espero que tenha sido para Guilherme e principalmente para Jade também...

 I can still remember mine in 2000, so, Thats why I hope that this afternoon keeps being special for Guilherme and her...

Rodrigo Caputo e Pedro Freire chegaram depois para sua sessão de Ving Tsun Experience. Jade participou pela primeira vez, e para todos foi ótimo , pois quanto mais pessoas diferentes, mais estimulos diferentes!

Later , Rodrigo Caputo(12G VT) and Pedro Freire , arrived for their trainning session. Jade supported me. What was really good. 'Cause they had the opportunity to try a different energy during practice.

That was me working with Rodrigo, and in the background, Pedro is supported by Jade to get better in his sequence.

Jade tira um tempo ainda para preparar sua carta, a ser entregue a Si Fu e Si Mo em sua Cerimônia no dia seguinte.

Jade also get some time to work hard on her letter to be give to Si Fu and Si Mo in the next day, during her Ceremony to Cham Kiu level.

Enquanto isso, os meninos cuidavam do Mo Gun antes da próxima Sessão...

Parecia que iria ser fácil, parecia que tudo estava colaborando a favor, mas não foi bem assim. 

Abrir um Núcleo Certificado , exige mais que boa vontade. Exige a colaboração, confiança e paciência de muitas pessoas. É um passo a passo que "golpeia com força" os mais impacientes e desmotiva outros mais.

It seemed to be easy, I tought that everything was doing good for my goal, but ...

To open a Certified MYVT branch, takes from you a lot of will. Demands support, believe and patience from a lot of people. Brother, I tell ya, is a step by step that "hits you" if you dont have patience and take away your will if you dont have a "burnin' heart"

Na última postagem, eu estava falando dos 245 Kg de cimento que comprei( ^_^' ) e citei meu jeito de pedir as coisas: "Aê! Vé um saquinho de bala?!" ...

Infelizmente, alugar um local para esta finalidade, envolve seu Cpf,sua renda, um fiador,a esperança de seus Si Dai(s) e o mais importante: a confiança do Si fu. Bem diferente de tudo que já adquiri...

In last post , I was talkin' bout  my way to buy things. But to rent a room for this goal: presrve the Ving Tsun, demands things like your Si Dai(s) hope and the Si Fu´s trust on you. It is different from anything that I ever bought.

Meu Si Dai Leonardo Henrique, bem como Carlos Antunes, me perguntaram recentemente o "que era Vida Kung Fu"...    Não consegui explicar obviamente. Acho que se um ser extra-terreno me perguntasse como é  a sensação de beber água, tudo que eu poderia fazer era dizer: "bebe aí."

Pensei nos dois hoje, porque lembrei de tudo que venho vivendo: Aprendi que R$ 3.000,00 pode ser mais barato do que R$ 600,00. Aprendi que é possível pagar algo que custa 50 com 15. Experimentei momentos com a Familia KF no Méier, que só poderiam acontecer em um momento como esse e em nenhum outro.

Percebi mais uma vez o papel do mentor:

Pereira: - Si Fu, não sei o que o senhor vai pensar, mas resolvi desistir do local e procurar outro.
(depois de um mês de negociação).
Si Fu: - Eu fico feliz Pereira. Eu acho que se você quisesse você conseguiria, mas nesse momento pra você acho que esta segunda opção é a melhor. Acontece que se eu te falasse isso, no fundo, você poderia pensar que nem eu estava acreditando em você,por isso fico feliz que tenha chegado a essa decisão sozinho.
Pereira: - Obrigado Si fu.
 Si Fu: - Manda bala agora!

My Si Dai Leonardo henrique (12G VT) as another one, Carlos Antunes(12G VT) asked me some days ago "what was kung fu life". Of course I could not answer that, tough, I think that if a marcian ask me how is the feeling of drinkin' water I just coul tell him: "Hey brother, take some!"

I thought about those guys today, 'cause I´m learning so much during this proccess.. like: I learned that a place that costs 3 thousand bucks can be tipier than a place that costs 600  hundred for rent. I also learned how to pay something that costs 50 with only 15 bucks.

But more important, one more time, my Si Fu showed to me how a Master under Moy Yat lineage works:

Me: - Si Fu, I dont know what you may think, but I decided to give up about that house and look for another. - I said that after a month and a half of negociations.

Si Fu : - Pereira, I´m happy about this. Look, I think that if you wanted to, you could get it. But I think that in this moment a small place is better to you. But if I said something like that before, You could think that I was not believing in you. so, I´m happy that you said it to me by yourself.
