HUNG GA SI FU VISITS MOY YAT VING TSUN MEIER SCHOOL (SI FU DE HUNG GA VISITA O NUCLEO MÉIER)

Provavelmente ouvia "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" num CD-R em meu Discman preto quando encontrei meu amigo Iron Jr na porta do shopping de Madureira naquela manhã de Sábado de algum mês de 2005, um dos anos mais sensacionais que vivi.

Probably I was listenning to "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" recorded in a CD-R in my Discman when I met my friend Iron Jr in Madureira(North Zone of Rio) at the mall door that Saturday morning on some month in 2005, one of the most exciting years I lived.

Caminhamos juntos pelo bairro até chegar a estação de trem. Lá, subimos a escadaria para atravessar para o outro lado do bairro onde chegaríamos ao SESC de Madureira para um evento de Artes Marciais chinesas(foto).
Na quadra do Sesc cercada por arquibancadas lotadas, alguns Si Fu conhecidos da Zona Norte do Rio coordenavam demonstrações de variadas artes .  Dentre eles, estava o Si Fu Luis Antonio. Que além de um dos Si Fu mais conhecidos de nosso Estado, também é um dos maiores colecionadores de filmes da Shaw Brothers e Golden Harvest do Rio... 
Onze anos depois, recebíamos ele em nosso Mo Gun...

We walked together through the neighborhood to get to the train station. There we climbed the stairs to cross to the other side of the neighborhood where we would go to the Madureira Public Club to attend a Chinese Martial Arts event (photo above).
In that Club court surrounded by crowded stands, some known Si Fu  from the North Zone of Rio coordinated demonstrations of various arts. Among them was the Si Fu Luis Antonio. Which in addition to one of the Si Fu most popular of our state, he is also one of the biggest movie collectors of Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest in Rio ...

Eleven years later, we welcomed him in our Mo Gun ...

Numa tarde de Quinta no Núcleo Méier, logo depois do Convite oficial de Roberto Viana para o Baai Si. Segui com Fabio Sá e Rodrigo Moreira, dois irmãos Kung Fu , para o Mo Gun pois lá receberíamos o Si Fu Luis para uma visita na qual ele compartilharia com os presentes a respeito de sua trajetória e sobre a arte que pratica.

One afternoon of Thursday at the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Meier School, shortly after the official invitation of Roberto Viana to Baai Si. I followed with Fabio Sá and Rodrigo Moreira, two Kung Fu brothers, to the Mo Gun because there would receive the Si Fu Luis for a visit in which he would share with those present about his career and the art he had been practicing since the 80's.

De forma bem relaxada e tranquila, Si Fu Luis contou a todos os presentes sobre sua trajetória desde quando começou até encontrar o Hung Ga. Também nos falou a respeito das adversidades e conquistas nesse caminho. Pôde nos trazer uma imagem das artes marciais chinesas no Rio de Janeiro no início dos anos 80.

Very relaxed and quiet, Si Fu Luis told to all present about his career since he started untill he found the art of Hung Ga. Also told us about the hardships and accomplishments in this way. Could bring us a picture of Chinese martial arts in Rio de Janeiro in the early 80s.

Para os presentes, em sua maioria nascidos a partir dos anos 80. Ter essa visão sobre um cenário que não tivemos acesso é bem valiosa.
Outro ponto marcante para quem esteve no Mo Gun naquela tarde, foi ouvir do Si Fu Luis , a respeito da origem do Hung Ga desde o Templo Shaolin (Siu Lam).
Ao falar do Templo, de sua destruição , da fuga dos Cinco Antigos, etc... Ele pôde contar a perspectiva do Hung Ga dessa tradição oral.

For the present, mostly born from the 80s Having this insight into a scenario that did not have access is very valuable.
Another important point for those who stayed in Mo Gun that afternoon, was hearing from the Si Fu Luis, about the origin of Hung Ga from the Shaolin Temple (Siu Lam).

Após a palestra, aproveitei para apresentar o Mo Gun a este amigo

 que vive no Mo Lam assim como eu.

Sem duvidas , foi uma tarde muito interessante não só para se aprender mais e criar laços, mas para que os membros do Núcleo Méier do Clã Moy Jo Lei Ou, como Jaqueline Tergolina (foto),pudessem ter contato com uma perspectiva além de seu próprio mundo dentro do Clã Ving Tsun.

No doubt, it was a very interesting afternoon not only to learn more and create bonds, but for members of the Clan Moy Jo Lei Ou, as Jaqueline Tergolina (photo) could have contact with a prospect beyond their own world within the Clan Ving Tsun.

O Hung Ga e Ving Tsun no sul da China tem a fama de serem rivais. Isso é mostrado por exemplo em filmes como "O Grande Mestre 2" (Ip Man 2,2010) e "Hung Kuen marries Wing Chun"(2008).
Si Gung(foto), contou recentemente em visita ao Rio, sobre um entrevista em que viu uma repórter perguntar a um judeu e a um palestino que vivem no Brasil e são amigos inseparáveis. Qual seria o segredo para essa harmonia entre todos os judeus e palestinos do mundo. Os dois homens responderam: "Venham para o Brasil!"

The Hung Ga and Ving Tsun in southern China is reputed to be rivals. This is shown for example in movies like "Ip Man 2" (2010) and "Hung Kuen marries Wing Chun" (2008).
Si Gung (photo above), recently said on a visit to Rio, on a interview in which he saw a reporter ask a Jewish and a Palestinian living in Brazil and who are inseparable friends. What is the secret to this harmony between all Jews and Palestinians in the world. The two men said, "Come to Brazil!"

Por isso, não me espanto de uma visita harmoniosa como essa ter acontecido logo no Brasil!

So it does not surprise me such a harmonic visit as this have happened  in Brazil!
