WHY "COBRA KAI" IS SO GOOD?

Numa época em que tudo é efêmero e é rapidamente substituído pela próxima moda. É extremamente difícil entender um período no qual  o mundo parecia andar mais devagar, e um estilo de se vestir e dois ou três gêneros musicais marcavam uma década inteira. 

Por isso, para um "milenial" , é impossível sentir o coração saltar dentro do peito e um sorriso brotar em seu rosto quando Johnny Lawerence(William Zabka) coloca uma fita K-7 em seu Pontiac Firebird e começa a tocar arrebatadoramente "Nothin' but a good Time" do Poison enquanto Johnny (William Zabka) passa a marcha e a cena corta para o título da série do Youtube Red  "COBRA KAI", com letras s amarelas. Como se fosse uma camisa do Hulk Hogan diretamente de uma promo de "Wrestlemania III" !!!

At a time when everything is ephemeral and is completely inhaled by the next fashion. It's a difficult task to try to understand a time when the world seemed to move slower . When a style of dress and two and three musical genres mark a whole decade.
So for a "millennial" it's impossible to have the feeling inside the chest and a smile on his face when Johnny Lawerence (William Zabka) puts a K-7 tape on his Pontiac Firebird and starts playing  "Nothin 'but a good time "by Poison while  the series by YoutubeRed " COBRA KAI " starts, with yellow letters. As if it were a Hulk Hogan shirt directly from a "Wrestlemania III" promotion !!!

"Cobra Kai" chega no serviço de streaming do Youtube, chamado "Youtube Red" como uma força da natureza , e continua a história do primeiro filme "The Karate Kid"(1984) bem onde ele pára: Com a derrota de Johnny Lawerence(William Zabka) para Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). 

Escrito por Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg e Josh Heald, todos fãs do filme original, a série "Cobra Kai" ganhou críticas arrasadoramente positivas de todos os críticos .

"Cobra Kai" was released on the YouTube streaming service called "Youtube Red" as a force of nature, and continues the story of the first movie "The Karate Kid" (1984) right where it stops: With the defeat of Johnny Lawerence(William Zabka) to Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Written by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald, all fans of the original film, the series "Cobra Kai" has won overwhelmingly positive reviews from all critics.

No "Hollywood Reporter", a matéria começa com: "YouTube Red's 'Karate Kid' sequel may be a one-joke premise, but thanks to Ralph Macchio's and William Zabka's likable work, it's more entertaining than you're probably expecting."  ("A sequência do 'Karate Kid' do YouTube Red pode ser uma premissa de uma piada, mas graças as atuações agradáveis de Ralph Macchio e William Zabka, é mais divertido do que você provavelmente está esperando"). Já o "The Guardian" vai mais fundo: "For 1980s nostalgics, the experience of watching Cobra Kai will be like rummaging through the attic to find a relic you didn’t know you missed" ( "Para os nostálgicos dos anos '80, a experiência de assistir Cobra Kai será como vasculhar o sótão para encontrar uma relíquia que você não sabia que perdeu")

The Guardian goes deeper: "For 1980s nostalgics, the experience of watching Cobra Kai will be like rummaging through the attic to find the relic you did not know you missed" 

"The Karate Kid" (1984) é um clássico dos clássicos que apareceu de lugar nenhum e conquistou o coração de inúmeras crianças e jovens de todo o planeta! Com um "plot" muito comum na época , em que um garoto novo na escola ou tímido sofria "bullying" . "The Karate Kid" contava a história de Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), que após sofrer inúmeras abordagens dos alunos da escola de Karate chamada "Cobra Kai", liderados por Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). Desobre que o zelador do condomínio em que morava era um mestre de Karate chamado Sr. Miagy (Pat Morita). E começa a aprender a se defender.

"The Karate Kid" (1984) is a classic of the classics that has appeared from nowhere and has captured the hearts of countless children and young people from all over the planet! With a plot that was very common at the time, when a young boy at school or a shy one was bullied. "The Karate Kid" tells the story of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), who after suffering numerous approaches from students of the Karate school called "Cobra Kai", led by Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). Daniel notices that the condo janitor where he lives in was a karate master named Mr. Miagy (Pat Morita). And starts to learn how to defende himself.

Mais de trinta anos depois dos acontecimentos de "The Karate Kid"(1984), vemos o que aconteceu com Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) num corte magistral do diretor da série, que junta a cena na qual ele recebe o chute de Daniel no final do filme original e corta para ele jogado no tapete de um apartamento barato em Reseda, como se dissesse que ele nunca mais se levantou depois do chute. 

More than thirty years after the events of "The Karate Kid" (1984), we see what happened to Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) in a masterful cut of the director of the series, which joins the scene in which he receives Daniel's kick at the end of the original film and cuts to him thrown on the carpet of a cheap apartment in Reseda, as if to say that he never got up again after the kick.

Johnny vive preso nos anos '80. Passa seus dias como um fracassado profissional de serviços diversos que é constantemente humilhado pelos contratantes. Termina os dias sozinho em seu apartamento assistindo "Águia de Aço" (Iron Eagle, 1986). Até que depois de um dia onde tudo dá errado, nocauteia um grupo de garotos , que enquanto fazem "bully" com seu vizinho Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) , caem em cima do capo de seu Pontiac. 

Usando golpes de Karate , derruba todos os meninos. Ele acaba sendo preso, mas Miguel no dia seguinte quando é solto, implora para que ele o aceite como aluno, o que acaba acontecendo. 

Johnny lives in the 1980s. Spends his days as a failed professional in various services that is constantly humiliated by the clients. He ends the days alone in his apartment watching "Iron Eagle"(, 1986). Until after a day where everything goes wrong, he knocks out a group of boys, who while doing bully with his neighbor Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), fall on the top of his Pontiac.

Using karate moves, he knocks down all the boys. He ends up being arrested, but Miguel the next day when he is free from jail, begs him to accept him as a student, which ends up happening.

Percebemos que o ponto de vista do telespectador será o de Johnny, pois o antes insuportável personagem do filme original, é extremamente cativante desta vez. Seu lado humano é muito bem explorado, o colocando em contraste com o bem-sucedido e pouco humano Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) . Esse contraste entre os dois, chega a trocá-los de lugar em relação ao filme original. 

Você precisará aumentar o som do "device" em que estiver assistindo a série. Pois tudo isso , será contado ao som de clássicos dos anos '80 como "Back In The Game" do "Airborne".

We realize that the point of view of the viewer will be that of Johnny, since the previously unbearable character of the original film, is extremely captivating this time around. His human side is very well explored, putting him in contrast to the successful and not so human Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). This contrast between the two, gets to change them of place in relation to the original film.

You will need to increase the sound of the device on which you are watching the series.Because all this, it will be told to the sound of classics of the '80s like "Back in the Game" by Airborne.

Ao longo dos episódios , Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) vai se humanizando aos poucos ao se reaproximar do Karate. O episódio dedicado à memória de Pat Morita, provavelmente é o mais emocionante. A cena na qual um Daniel LaRusso cheio de rugas coloca novamente sua bandana, é de fazer chorar até o mais frio dos telespectadores. É como se naquela cena, o personagem representasse milhares de fãs com mais de 30 anos, que voltaram a se imaginar como aqueles personagens a cada episódio. 

Throughout the episodes, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) gradually becomes humanized as he starts to practice Karate again. The episode dedicated to the memory of Pat Morita is probably the most moving. The scene in which a Daniel LaRusso full of wrinkles puts his bandana again, is to make cry to the coldest of the viewers. It's as if in that scene, the character represented thousands of fans over 30 years old, who came back to imagine themselves as those characters .

"Cobra Kai" (2018) é a manifestação do sonho de várias pessoas ao redor do mundo! A série entrega muito mais do que jamais imaginamos que seria capaz! Com um roteiro meticulosamente preparado para emocionar a audiência, como na cena em que Johnny orienta Miguel onde levar o seu interesse romantico e começa a tocar "Young Hearts" , é de sorrir até não dar mais! 

A série é ainda agraciada com a entrega total de William Zabka(Johnny Lawrence) e Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) que dão um verdadeiro show!

"Cobra Kai" (2018) is the manifestation of the dream of several people around the world! The series delivers so much more than we ever imagined it would! With a script meticulously prepared to thrill the audience, as in the scene where Johnny  guides his pupil where to take his romantic interest and starts playing "Young Hearts", makes you open a big smile!

The series is further bestowed with the full delivery of William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) and Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) . They acting is so good, thats is hard to explain!
