BEFORE CARNIVAL IN MOY YAT VING TSUN RIO (PRÉ-CARNAVAL NA MYVT RIO!)

O Carnaval finalmente acabou! Já sabemos que mais uma vez a Portela não ganha esse ano, e que 2013 só começa agora no Brasil.
Durante o Carnaval estive com meu querido irmão Kung Fu Vlad Anchieta e conversamos bastante. Pelo menos eu sempre procuro estar nos lugares mais tranquilos.
Na semana que antecedeu a festa do Carnaval, tivemos momentos marcantes no Núcleo Barra e Méier, e gostaria de compartilhá-los com vocês...

O dia estava lindo naquela manhã de Domingo. Eram por volta de 7:15 h e tínhamos marcado de tomar café juntos no posto de gasolina. Enquanto lia meu livro, Cynthia e logo depois Joelson chegaram, e se juntaram a mim. E as 8 am em ponto, fomos para o Mo Gun na Barra, a fim de cuidar dele...

The day was beautiful on that Sunday morning. It was around 7:15 AMwee had scheduled to have breakfast together at the gas station snack-bar. While I was reading my book, and Cynthia and Joelson arrived soon after, and joined me. And at 8 AM  we went to the Barra Mo Gun in order to take care of him ...

 O Mo Gun tinha muita coisa a ser feita. E muito trabalho nos esperava naquela manhã. Nos dividimos em 3 cômodos: Cynthia ficou com a cozinha, eu com o banheiro e Joelson com a sala do
Si Fu.

Mo Gun had a lot to be done. A lot of work was awaiting for us! We share the work in three rooms: Kitchen, Bathroom and Si Fu´s office.





Cynthia cuidou muito bem da cozinha, mas pela quantidade de material, não só eu , quanto ela, tivemos que levar parte disso para nossas casas a fim de preservar uma melhor ambiência no
Mo Gun.

Cynthia did great in the kitchen, but she had to take some stuff to her house as I did. To keep the Mo Gun with the better look possible.

No filme "Karate Kid" original, uma das lições de Sr Miyagi a Daniel, é "Pintar a cerca". Daniel enverniza a madeira e aproveita para desenvolver seu Karate como relembramos abaixo.

Joelson é praticante do Núcleo Méier, e trabalha embarcado. Quando está em terra firme, Joelson tem aproveitado ao máximo seus momentos no Mo Gun. Neste dia em especial, Joelson esteve no Núcleo Barra conosco, e assim como Daniel LaRusso, envernizou a mesa da sala do Si Fu, que foi um presente de sua discípula Xenia D'Avila.

Para se preparar melhor para estes momentos, na noite de Quarta, fizemos um estudo de uma sessão de Ving Tsun Experience, módulo para aspirantes a membro. Graças a isso também, todos os presentes naquela noite, puderam acompanhar o trabalho e entender melhor juntos, a melhor maneira de mobilizar um praticante.

Sing porém não consegue convencer seus irmãos Kung Fu, e quando está pensando que não foi capaz de tocá-los, todos resolvem aparecer...

A cena abaixo, diz respeito a novela "Wing Chun" de 2007. Nesta cena , Sammo Hung, que interpreta o ancestral Wong Wah Po, começa a transmitir o Ving Tsun para Leung Bik, interpretado pelo chatissimo Nicolas Tse, que até hoje só a Cynthia Tong gostou..rs   Wong Wah Po começa obviamente, pelo Siu Nim Tau....

Two Saturdays ago, Si Fu during a pleasant lunch at the legendary Barra Garden mall, invited Gabriel Faria, Pedro Ivo, Pedro Silva, Rodrigo Sant'Anna, Luan Scliar, Filipe Sugaya, Carol Oliveira to join the Kung Fu Family.

Mas aquela manhã, teve suas atividades iniciadas bem antes...
But that morning , the day began earlier....

Quando cheguei pela manhã, esta foi a cena que encontrei. Todos reunidos para a sessão de Mui Fa Jong que estava acontecendo.

Cada um ia até o Jong, para estudar a parte em questão que estávamos trabalhando. Naquele momento era o Gui vendo a terceira parte.

Each one was suppose to stay in front of the dummy and do the thing. The part of the set that we were working on. The photo above, shows Gui studying.

Fazia tempo que eu não ia ao Núcleo Barra Sábado pela manhã. Pois nesse horário sempre estou no Méier. E foi bem divertido. Na verdade, sempre que estamos em um Mo Gun, situações desconfortáveis ou melhor: desafiadoras ocorrem, e você tem que se virar. E por incrível que pareça, é isso que o faz cada vez mais querer estar lá....

MYVT COPACABANA PREPARING FOR THE CHINESE NEW YEAR! (COPACABANA SE PREPARA PARA O ANO NOVO CHINÊS!)

Você pode começar bem o seu dia, de várias formas. E eu nessa semana acabei por dar uma carona a Julinha(esquerda) que é filha do meu Mestre Julio Camacho, até a casa de Rebeka(direita), filha da Mestre Úrsula Lima.
Mestre Úrsula tem trabalhado bastante no Núcleo Copacabana, para dentre outras coisas, preparar o Mo Gun para o ano novo chinês, mas ela não está sozinha nessa missão, e pôde contar com a ajuda de seus To Dai e de alguns To Dai de Mestre Julio Camacho também...

Clássico dos anos 70, de Yuen Woo Ping (Matrix, Kill Bill) estrelando Jackie Chan no filme que o colocaria no mapa , e co-estrelando a lenda do old-school de Hong Kong: Simon Yuen(foto).

 

In 2013 we have the Year of the Snake in the Chinese calendar. Quando pensamos em ano-novo chinês, sempre vem a mente um animal que "Rege" aquele ano.
Interessante que cada animal , tem uma característica própria, uma natureza só sua. E quando toda a população, se sintoniza nessa mesma natureza, todos estão na mesma frequência dentro do ano em questão.

When we think  'bout Chinese New Year always comes to mind that an animal "leads" that year.
Interesting that each animal has its own characteristics, a nature of its own. And when the whole population is tuned in the same nature, everyone is on the same frequency within the year.

O ano novo chinês, não é uma questão de mágica, mas de sintonia. Quando toda a população se prepara, quitando suas dividas, reformando suas casas, tentando não deixar nada pendente , para poder, mais uma vez, sintonizar com o novo ano...

No caso do Ano da Serpente, você pode até pensar: "É, esse ano deve então ser arrastado. Afinal, serpentes se arrastam..."  , ou: "Esse ano deve pegar a gente de surpresa, afinal, serpentes dão o bote quando menos se espera!"...   Mas isso não poderia estar mais errado...

O ano da serpente está relacionado muito mais ao fator "Transformação". As serpentes trocam de pele . E essa característica, simboliza "transformações" no ano da serpente!

Cynthia Tong, outra To Dai de Mestre Julio Camacho , tem feito seus irmãos Kung Fu do Méier sentirem sua falta, devido a seus horários não permitirem sua presença, mas em Copacabana ela se dedicou a ajudar sua Si Sok, Mestre Úrsula Lima.

 

The Kung Fu Family from Meier Wild neighborhood, is missing Cynthia Tong. Her schedule is very complicated this year. But she is being able to help for example MYVT Copacabana.

Helena Carneiro, que pratica o módulo Ving Tsun Experience. Um módulo que permite ao interessado conhecer o trabalho realizado num Núcleo da MYVT-RJ, também participou. Ela está usando a terrível tinta "oriental vermelho" ao que parece....

Ao menos no Núcleo Méier, essa tinta amaldiçoada não pegava de jeito nenhum. Passamos por todos os tons de vermelho equivalente a palheta do paintbrush  antes de alcançar o tal "Vermelho Oriental"......

 

Helena Carneiro,is practicing Ving Tsun Experience module. A module that allows interested people to know the work of a -MYVT RJ branch, also participated. She is using the  terrible ink "oriental red" apparently ....
At least in the MYVT Meier, this cursed ink would not start at all. We went through all shades of red reed equivalent to the paintbrush before reaching the so-called "Oriental Red " ......

Marcos e Marcus, além de separados por um "O" ou um "U", aparecem separados pelo Jong, enquanto participavam dos preparativos.

 

Marcos and Marcus, are no apart just by an "o" or an "u" but aso by the Jong!

 

Esse Muk Yan Jong foi um presente de Mestre Julio Camacho a Mestre Úrsula. Na verdade, esse boneco foi o primeiro do Núcleo Jacarepaguá. E foi montado no mesmo ano da admissão de Mestre Úrsula na Familia Moy Yat Sang: 1995

 

This Muk Yan Jong, was a gift from Master Julio to Master Úrsula. In fact, this wodden dummy was the first one in Jacarepaguá branch in the 90's. It was finished in the same year that Master Úrsula entered into the Moy Yat Sang Family: 1995
