FELIZ ANIVERSÁRIO PAULA! (HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAULA!)

Desde que ingressou na Família Kung Fu, Paula Gama, que todos nós chamamos apenas de Paula, se tornou uma das pessoas de maior importância no nosso Mo Gun no Rio de Janeiro, e hoje , dia do seu aniversário, o Blog do Pereira presta essa pequena homenagem a uma pessoa que além de tudo, é uma grande amiga desse que vos escreve.

Since joining the Family Kung Fu, Paula Gama,who we all just call as Paula. Became one of the most important people in our Mo Gun in Rio de Janeiro, and today(July 28), her birthday, the Peartree´s Blog provides a small tribute to a person than anything, is a great friend of mine.

Paula ingressou na Família Moy Jo Lei Ou em 2004 , em Cerimônia que contou com a participação também de suas filhas Adda e Ana.

Por se tratar de uma pessoa extremamente humana no convivio com todos e principalmente com seu Si Fu e Si Mo, Paula rapidamente conquistou um lugar de destaque dentro da Família Kung Fu.

Particulamente, eu sempre senti falta de alguma coisa que não sabia explicar no antigo Núcleo Jacarepaguá, do meu ponto de vista na época, achava que as coisas eram muito estruturadas, não deixavam brechas... Quando mudamos para a Barra da Tijuca porém, senti que algo estava diferente. As coisas estavam mais leves e as relações mais naturais. Sair com o Si Fu no final da tarde e mais algum irmão Kung Fu para comer alguma coisa , falar sobre Kung Fu, o que fosse, já não era mais tão incomum. Não ouvia mais falar de eventos de integração, a integração já acontecia por si só. E para mim sempre foi a Paula o grande símbolo desta tranformação nas relações dentro do Mo Gun, pois a mesma concidiu com sua entrada na Família.

As a very "human" person in contact with everyone and especially with her Si Fu and Si Mo, Paula quickly won a place of prominence within the Kung Fu Family .

Particularly, I always felt a lack of something that did not explain the in the old Jacarepaguá Branch, in my view at the time, thought that things were very structured, not leaving gaps ... When moved to Barra da Tijuca Branch however, felt that something was different. Things were lighter and relations more natural . Hang out with Si Fu in the afternoon and some Kung Fu brother to eat something, talk about Kung Fu,etc, was no longer so unusual. I Not heard more talk about integration meetings , the integration has already happened by itself. And to me, Paula was the great symbol of this transformation in relations within the Mo Gun , because it happened at the sime of her entry into the Family.

* Umbanda Saints(click here) - Umbanda is an African religion wich is rooted in Brazil, principally in the States of Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and Para .
In this religion there are "saints" or "entities" as we use to say, who help their religion followers.The men "saints" use to be represented always in white or black suits , with the red color in a tie, hat or something.
In US, Umbanda is also called as "Santeria", but it is not right.

Assim, encerramos sabendo que quando um Si Dai olhar para sua Si Je Paula Gama treinando e participando de qualquer processo dentro da Família Kung Fu, poderá enfim, ter certeza, que o bom Kung Fu nada tem haver com idade,sexo,força física,tamanho...o Bom Kung Fu tem haver com o coração.
Essa talvez seja a maior lição que a Si Je de vocês venha passando durante todo esse tempo.

SEMINÁRIO DE SI GUNG LEO IMAMURA NO RIO(SI GUNG LEO IMAMURA RIO´S SEMINAR)

Entre a última Sexta-feira (24/07) e Domingo (26/07) , Si Gung Leo Imamura esteve nas dependências do Núcleo Rio de Janeiro para coordenar 3 seminários sobre o Ving Tsun Experience.
Os seminários contaram com a participação de muitos membros da Família Kung Fu: Alguns fazendo um seminário pela primeira vez, outros membros que não apareciam há algum tempo nos deram o prazer de revê-los, tivemos também uma praticante dos E.U.A. , enfim...muitos foram os momentos marcantes durante estes três dias com Si Gung Leo Imamura.

O Blog do Pereira agradece em nome de todos os participantes dos seminários ao Mestre Julio Camacho,Si Mo Daniela Camacho, a Si Sok Ursula Lima e a todos que de alguma forma contribuiram para que este seminário se realizasse.

Between last Friday (July 24) and Sunday (July 26), Si Gung Leo Imamura was at Rio de Janeiro Branch to coordinate 3 seminars about "Ving Tsun Experience".
The seminars involved many members of the Kung Fu Family: Some doing a seminar for the first time, other members who do not appear for some time gave us the pleasure of reviewing them, we had also a practitioner from U.S., so ... Many were the nice moments during these three days with Si Gung Leo Imamura.

The Peartree's Blog thanks on behalf of all participants of the seminars to Master Julio Camacho,Si Mo, Si Sok Ursula Lima and all that in any way contributed to this seminar is held.

O Ving Tsun Experience conta com a sequência de movimentos denominada "Siu Nim Do", desenvolvida por Grão-Mestre Moy Yat com a ajuda de alguns de seus discípulos,para que principalmente pessoas mais jovens pudessem experimentar um pouco da natureza e da lógica do Ving Tsun antes de assumir um compromisso formal ingressando na Família Kung Fu.

No Brasil, o Siu Nim Do foi ensinado durante muito tempo num mini-curso denominado "Curso Introdutório".
Onde depois de um curto período de prática, o interessado poderia decidir por ingressar ou não na Família Kung Fu após convite formal do Si Fu.

Hoje, este "curso" digamos assim, recebe o nome de Ving Tsun Experience, pois não há nada mais justo do que dizer que se trata de uma "experiência em Ving Tsun."

The Ving Tsun Experience has the sequence of movements called "Siu nim Do", developed by Grand Master Moy Yat with the support of some of his disciples, this was made especially to younger people could try a bit of the nature and logic of Ving Tsun ,before entering in a formal way to the Kung Fu Family .

In Brazil, the Siu Nim Do was taught a long time in a mini-course called "Introductory Course".

Policiais do BOPE aprendem o Ving Tsun, técnica chinesa que ensina a sair de tiroteios e situações de risco.

Em vez da arma, a inteligência.Em vez de matar, controlar o inimigo usando mãos e pés. Um estilo de kung fu milenar na China e que foi popularizado pelos filmes de Hollywood com o ator Bruce Lee. O Ving Tsun ou Wing Chun está sendo ensinado aos policiais do Batalhão de Operações Especiais (BOPE)."A técnica ensina a ter controle emocional e faz com que numa situação crítica,por exemplo, uma troca de tiros,ele relaxe e encontre o melhor jeito de sair daquela situação", afirma um dos instrutores,Fábio Gomes, filho do comandante do Corpo de Bombeiros do Rio, Coronel Paulo Gomes. TREINO DE BAAT JAAM DO (BAAT JAAM DO TRAINING)

O Sábado é sempre um dos melhores dias no Mo Gun. Infelizmente não é sempre que posso ir nesse dia, mas sempre que vou, coisas bacanas acontecem , sejam treinos ou bate-papos, não importa. Sábado é um dia especial!

Desta vez como vemos na foto, Si Sok Felipe Soares passou uma tarde na casa de seu Si Hing, Mestre Julio Camacho, treinando o Baat Jaam Do, nível do Sistema Ving Tsun que faz uso de armas.

Com todo o seu carinho pelo Blog, Si Sok Felipe concordou em dividir conosco através de suas próprias palavras, como foi essa experiência de treino:

The Saturday is always one of the best days in Mo Gun . Unfortunately I can not always go that day, but when I go, a lot of nice things happen, whether training or chats about kung fu, no matter. Saturday is a special day!

This time as we see in the picture above, Si Sok Felipe Soares spent an afternoon in the house of his Si Hing, Master Julio Camacho, training the Baat Jaam Do, Ving Tsun level that makes use of weapons.

With all his affection for our Blog, Si Sok Felipe agreed to share with us through his own words, as the experience of training:

"Por conta de obrigações no trabalho e outras dificuldades, eu tinha faltado minhas sessões de Do com o Si hing Julio nas duas últimas semanas. No sábado, quando consegui aparecer direito no Mo Gun, ele me convidou para seguir depois do almoço para a casa dele. Eu não tinha planejado, mas consegui adiar os outros compromissos do dia para aceitar o convite. A experiência que fica desses momentos é bem simples: basta estar disponível para aproveitar a vida Kung Fu. A tarde resultou numa das sessões de Do mais proveitosas que já tive, onde consegui começar a quebrar alguns bloqueios que eu mesmo criei no estudo das facas. Isso tudo enquanto a pequena Julia ficava observando atenta e, quando o Si hing fingia que não estava vendo, ela brincava de roubar do pai os biscoitos que a Si je Dani serviu para nós. Contando assim pode parecer pouco, apenas mais um dia como tantos outros. Mas a vida Kung Fu é assim mesmo. Só estando lá para saber como é de verdade."

"Because of work obligations and other difficulties, I had missed my Baat Jaam Do sessions with the Si Hing Julio in the last two weeks. On Saturday, when I could finally go to Mo Gun again, he invited me to go after lunch to his home to train. Talvez pela diferença de horários ou de disponibilidade, já fazia um tempo em que Si Fu,eu e Paula saímos juntos pela última vez para comer alguma coisa e falar sobre kung fu em algum intervalo de treino. Porém, numa Segunda a noite, algumas pessoas não iriam treinar naquele dia, e Si Fu nos convidou para comer um Temaki perto do Mo Gun.

Numa temakeria próxima ao Mo Gun sentamos para comer e começamos a conversar, em determinado momento Paula colocou algumas questões sobre a nossa capacidade de luta adquirida com os treinamentos. E Si Fu falou sobre o assunto por uma perspectiva que eu nunca tinha ouvido, sendo eu um grande apaixonado pela parte "prática" do Ving Tsun...

Si Fu disse, que em termos ideais, o Kung Fu não tem como finalidade, a luta ou o combate apenas. Ninguém disse que o sistema Ving Tsun tem que ter essa finalidade.
Segundo ele, o Sistema Ving Tsun (O kung fu de uma forma geral), é uma ferramenta que você usa para obter maestria onde quer que você queira, e a maneira que se alcança essa maestria, é através de movimentos simbólicos de combate. Ou seja, através do corpo, você desperta sua experiência para outros meios que não só o combate.

Da mesma forma, Si Fu comentou que se o Sistema Ving Tsun fosse transmitido através do preparo de comidas (como se o Mo Gun fosse um grande restaurante), se seu objetivo final fosse a luta, o Si Fu teria que ser capaz de transformar você em um bom lutador através do dia-a-dia preparando alimentos...

Essa foi uma visão muito nova para mim, mas que acho que consegui entender. Cheguei a comentar ainda na mesa pro Si Fu, que tendo escutado isso, começo a pensar que um Si Fu (ou qualquer Mestre ou Instrutor) que direcione o treino de seus alunos apenas para perfomances em campeonatos ou para a mítica defesa pessoal, está na verdade tolhendo o potencial de uma pessoa que poderia ser um grande cirurgião, um grande cozinheiro, apenas praticando kung fu,e que termina com uma medalhinha no peito no final de um campeonato.

Se um dia eu for Si Fu vou lembrar desta conversa.

Si Fu said that in ideals terms , the Kung Fu has not the "combat" as a goal. Nobody said that the Ving Tsun system has to have that purpose.
He says the Ving Tsun system (or the kung fu in general) is a tool to you for mastery wherever you want, and how that is achieved this mastery is through symbolic movements of combat. You become better in what you do in daily life through the body experience gained with the practice.

Similarly, Si Fu said that if the system Ving Tsun was transmitted through the preparation of meals (as the Mo Gun was a great restaurant), if your goal was to be good in fights the Si Fu would have to be able to transform you in a good fighter through the day-to-day preparing food ...

This was an extremely new to me, but I think that could understand. I came to comment yet on the table to Si Fu, that having heard this, I start to think that a Si Fu (or any teacher or instructor) that direct the training of their students only for performances in championships or the mythical self defense, it is numb the true potential of a person who could be a great surgeon, a great cooker, just practicing kung fu, and ending just with a little medal in the chest at the end of a championship.

If one day I could be a Si Fu, I´ll remember this conversation.

MOY YAT VING TSUN NO SPORTV (MYVT IN SPORTV CHANNEL!)

Com certeza se você possui serviços de TV a Cabo e dentro deste, faz uso do canal Sportv, já acompanhou as propagandas deste carinha que aparece na imagem acima, que tenta sempre ver os jogos de seu time pela TV do vizinho, e o comercial acaba dizendo para você que pagar o Pay-Per-View do Brasileirão é a melhor opção!

Bom, até aí tudo bem, apenas fizemos propaganda grátis mais uma vez...rs

Mas o interessante do comercial é isso aqui ó:
Esta é uma foto registrada em um dos muitos jogos que fizemos da Família Kung Fu em 2004, e que retomamos este ano. Reparem nas camisas que usamos.
Sim! É do mesmo jogo de camisa feito pela equipe da Si Taai Vanise Imamura!
Apesar deste modelo ser vermelho, Mestre Julio idealizou um escudo e dois uniformes: um jogo de camisa amarelo (que o carinha usa na propaganda) e este vermelho.

Repare na logo que Mestre Julio desenvolveu e que está presente na camisa do carinha do comercial.
Aqui, vemos o trocadilho visual, formando um "M".

Um "V"

E por ultimo, a letra "T".

Se você chutou "MYVT"( = Moy Yat Ving Tsun) você acertou!
Sim! Si Fu estava num momento Jacques Saunière.

Então a próxima vez que você assistir a este comercial, já pode se sentir em "Código DaVinci" observando uma propaganda subliminar da Moy Yat Ving Tsun.

Afinal, vai dizer que sempre que você vê esta propaganda do Pay-Per-View do brasileirão não dá vontade de treinar? rsrsrs

DIA MEMORIAL DO VING TSUN(Ving Tsun´s Memorial Day)

Talvez os praticantes mais desavisados não saibam , mas todo ano (pelo menos em nosso Clã), comemoramos o "Dia Memorial do Ving Tsun" na data de 04 de Julho.

Porém, apesar de ser em 04 de Julho, nada tem haver esta data comemorativa, com a independência dos EUA, e sim , com a inauguração da VING TSUN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION.
Que teve durante todo o seu proceso de fundação o próprio Patriarca Yip Man a frente, culminando no dia 04 de Julho de 1968, quando finalmente os praticantes de Ving Tsun tinham a sua associação.

Perhaps the most unconscious practitioners do not know, but every year (at least in our Clan), we celebrate the Memorial Day of Ving Tsun on the date of July 04.

However, despite being on 04 July, there is nothing this commemorative day, with the independence of the USA, but with the inauguration of Ving Tsun ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION.
That had throughout its entire process of founding patriarch Yip Man himself leading, culminating on July 04 1968, when the practitioners of Ving Tsun finally had their association.

Até esta data, o termo "VING TSUN" que denominava a arte que praticamos, era escrita apenas com ideogramas chineses, e uma transliteração era necessária, para que a Associação ganhasse cunho internacional.

'Till that date, the term "Ving Tsun" which called the art we practice, it was only written using Chinese ideograms, and a transliteration was needed so that the Association would gain international stamp.

Grão-Mestre Moy Yat, foi escolhido entre outros importantes praticantes , para formar o Comite organizador desta associação.
O termo Wing Chun com "W" e "Ch" já estava famoso no mundo, mas graças ao seu dominio da lingua inglesa, Grão-Mestre Moy Yat, lembrou-se que as pessoas tendem a abreviar os termos mais incomuns ao seu dia-a-dia, até mesmo a tranformá-los em siglas.
Por isso, disse a seu Si Fu Yip Man, que caso Wing Chun teria como sigla "WC", a mesma para banheiro na língua inglesa (Water Closet).

Assim sendo, foi adotado por Yip Man por sua sugestão, "Ving Tsun" com "V" e "Ts". Então a partir daquele momento, após ser inaugurada uma Associação da Arte, a transliteração oficial passou a ser "VING TSUN".

Grand Master Moy Yat, was chosen among other major players, to form the Organizing Committee of this association.

Acontece que até o momento em que não existe uma entidade oficial registrada, o termo poderia ser escrito de qualquer jeito, mas após a decisão de Yip Man, o "VT" se tornou oficial.

Hoje é claro, existem inúmeras outras Associações de Ving Tsun que usam a transliteração de acordo com a sua própria lógica. Porém, pelo menos em nosso Clã, grão-Mestre Moy Yat preferiu considerar a transliteração escolhida por seu Si Fu.

Assim, o dia 04 de Julho de 1968 está marcado para o nosso Clã, pela inauguração da primeira Associação de Ving Tsun do mundo, e ainda por cima com o diferencial de ter tido o último Patriarca do Sistema a frente.
