The end of a cycle in the Moy Fat Lei Family

Passou bem rápido, mas nós já sabíamos que seria assim. Quando a quarentena começou no Rio no final de Março, minha discípula Caroline Archanjo ( Que reside no Mo Gun da Família Moy Fat Lei), tornou-se uma das figuras mais emblemáticas da Família durante o período. Isso ocorreu, porque ela dedicava cerca de 21 horas semanais para estar comigo preparando e executando as transmissões via ZOOM que nos disponibilizamos a fazer.

Era muito comum observar a Caroline ao meu lado na câmera durante as transmissões, mas acontece que começávamos bem antes com a preparação do aparato técnico, e permanecíamos em sintonia após. Quando geralmente almoçávamos ou jantávamos juntos, fazendo o 'pós-evento'.

It passed very quickly, but we already knew it would be like that. When the quarantine began in Rio at the end of March, my disciple Caroline Archanjo (who resides in the Mo Gun of the Moy Fat Lei Family), became one of the most emblematic figures of the Family during the period. This happened, because she dedicated about 21 hours a week to be with me preparing and executing the transmissions via ZOOM that we made ourselves available to do.

It was very common to watch Caroline beside me on the camera during the broadcasts, but it turns out that we started well before with the preparation of the technical apparatus, and remained in tune afterwards. When we usually had lunch or dinner together, doing the 'post-event'.

Si Gung teria dito certa vez, que o processo de 'Vida-Kung Fu' não pode ser imposto. O praticante vai vivenciá-lo na medida em que estiver disposto a faze-lo. Então, muitas dessas experiencias também puderam ser vivenciadas, pois Caroline se disponibilizou de coração aberto para vive-las. 

Então, certa vez perguntei ao Si Gung o que ele achava do fato de um 'Si Fu' ter outra carreira além desta. Ele teria dito - “ ...A questão não é se o Si Fu tem ou não outra carreira. É se ele vai ter condições de estar disponível para o discípulo...  “ - Então como vemos na foto, Caroline inclusive me acompanhou em minha outra profissão em alguns momentos. Fosse me ajudando com impressões, ou literalmente saindo comigo para a rua nessa outra carreira. Sobre essa experiencia ela escreveu no instagram de nossa Família Kung Fu(@familia_moyfatlei  ): “ ...Equilíbrio foi um dos temas sobre os quais mais falamos ao longo da manhã, e pude refletir sobre até que onde estou disposta a me manter equilibrada ou equilibrar as circunstancias,relações e momentos...  “ 

Si Gung would have said once, that the 'Kung Fu-Life' process cannot be imposed. The practitioner will experience it to the extent that he is willing to do so. So, many of these experiences could only be experienced, because Caroline made herself available with an open heart to live them.

Then, I once asked Si Gung what he thought of the fact that a 'Si Fu' had another career besides this one. He would have said - “... The question is not whether Si Fu has another career or not. It is if he will be able to be available to the disciple ... “- So as we can see in the photo, Caroline even accompanied me in my other profession at times. Whether it was helping me with prints, or literally following me out on the street in this other career. About this experience she wrote on the Instagram of our Kung Fu Family (@familia_moyfatlei): “... Balance was one of the topics we talked about most during the morning, and I was able to reflect on how far I am willing to stay balanced or balance the circumstances, relationships and moments ... "

Caroline acabou sendo aprovada em uma concorrida faculdade, e com isso, não tinha mais o tempo livre durante a semana. Pois precisava dividi-lo entre o trabalho e as aulas no turno da noite. Nos restaram os Sábados, mas nestes ela também terá o tempo restrito por conta das aulas. E assim, coube a Caroline, entender como se reajustar novamente. Para que não só pudesse ter um Momento de Acesso ao Sistema Ving Tsun comigo e outro para Vida-Kung Fu. Como também, pudesse ser decisiva no processo de seus irmãos Kung Fu mais novos e dos aspirantes a membro da Família. 

Foi um processo de desenvolvimento muito especial. Enquanto vivíamos um momento em que grande parte das pessoas se despedaçava emocionalmente por motivos diversos. Caroline conseguiu fazer a diferença para membros e aspirantes a membros da Família Kung Fu, mas principalmente, para si própria. 

Encerramos esse ciclo com um almoço bem especial. Por conta de todos os membros terem ido embora mais cedo, acabou que apenas nós dois almoçamos no último Sábado juntos( FOTO). Com isso, foi possível dentre tantos assuntos, fazer uma reflexão sobre o fim de um ciclo e o que se iniciou.

Caroline eventually wa approved to a well-attended college, and as a result, she no longer had free time during the week. Because She needs to divide it between work and classes on the night shift. We had Saturdays left, but on these days she will also have limited time due to classes. And so, it was up to Caroline to understand how to readjust again. So that she could not only have a Moment of Access to the Ving Tsun System with me and another for Kung Fu-Life. As well, she could be decisive in the process of her younger Kung Fu brothers and aspiring Family members.

It was a very special development process. While we were living in a time when most people were emotionally shattered for different reasons. Caroline managed to make a difference for members and aspiring members of the Kung Fu Family, but mostly, for herself.

We ended this cycle with a very special lunch. Because all the members left earlier, it turned out that just the two of us had lunch last Saturday together (PHOTO). With that, it was possible among many subjects, to reflect on the end of a cycle and what started.
