26 YEARS OF MASTER JULIO CAMACHO: A GROUND-BREAKING STORY

No dia 27 de Agosto, celebra-se o aniversário de entrada do renomado Mestre Senior Julio Camacho na Família Moy Yat Sang. Sendo hoje, um dos maiores promotores do legado de seu Mestre Leo Imamura, no Rio de Janeiro e no mundo.
Tudo começou , quando em 1992, o jovem Julio Camacho encontra um conhecido seu chamado Leslei num curso de férias da Universidade Estácio de Sá sobre respiração. Leslei o convence a visitar o Mo Gun (Recinto Marcial) do Sr Jucelito Wainer. Naquele momento, representante do Grão-Mestre Leo Imamura no Rio de Janeiro.
Assim, ainda que tenha praticado o Sistema Ving Tsun por vários anos no final da década de 80, seu efetivo início no Sistema pode ser considerado como tendo sido no dia 27 de agosto de 1992, quando foi admitido na Família Moy Yat Sang 梅一生, através da intermediação de Moy Wai Nang 梅為能.

On 27 August, the anniversary of the day wich the renowned Senior Master Julio Camacho joined  the Moy Yat Sang Family is celebrated. Being today, one of the greatest promoters of the legacy of his Master Leo Imamura, in Rio de Janeiro and in the world.
It all began when, in 1992, the young Julio Camacho encounters an acquaintance named Leslei in a course at Estácio de Sa University on breathing. Leslei convinces him to visit the Mo Gun (Kung Fu School) of Mr. Jucelito Wainer. At that time, representative of Grand Master Leo Imamura in Rio de Janeiro.
Thus, even though he practiced the Ving Tsun System for several years in the late 1980s, his actual beginning in the System can be considered to have been on August 27, 1992, when he was admitted to the Moy Yat Sang Family , through the intermediary of Moy Wai Nang 梅 為 能.

O Mestre Julio Camacho, desde o início mostrou-se alguém que chegara para contribuir com a promoção desta então desconhecida arte, no Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Pois já no ano seguinte ao de sua entrada. Iniciou o processo de transmissão do Sistema Ving Tsun  e tornou-se Representante Oficial de Núcleo da Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence no ano de 1995, com a fundação do Núcleo Jacarepaguá, no Rio de Janeiro.
Quanto ao acesso legítimo ao conteúdo completo do Sistema Ving Tsun, passou ao Nível Intermediário em 18 de março de 1994, ao Nível Avançado em 3 de dezembro de 1994, ao Nível Superior Inicial em 30 de novembro de 1995, ao Nível Superior Medial em 30 de novembro de 1996 e ao Nível Superior Final em 20 de dezembro de 1998. Este concluiu em 28 de junho de 2002.

Master Julio Camacho, from the beginning, showed himself to have come to contribute to the promotion of this then unknown art, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. He started the process of transmission of the Ving Tsun System and became Official Representative of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence of the former school in Jacarepagua in 1995,  in Rio de Janeiro.
As for the legitimate access to the full content of the Ving Tsun System, he passed to the Intermediate Level on March 18, 1994, to the Advanced Level on December 3, 1994, to the Initial Higher Level on November 30, 1995, at the Medial Higher Level at 30 November 1996 and the Final Higher Level on December 20, 1998. He concluded it on June 28, 2002.

No ano de 1998, foi reconhecido pela cúpula da Instituição como Destaque do Ano, entre os diretores de Núcleo da Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Art System(Como a instituição era chamada na época). Já no ano seguinte recebeu mais uma honraria, quando recebeu a mesma homenagem, porém como Destaque do Período 1995-1999.

In the year 1998, he was recognized by the Institution summit as Man of the Year, among the directors of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Art System (As the institution was called at the time). Em Nova Iorque, no ano de 1997, o Mestre Senior Julio Camacho integrou a comitiva brasileira no histórico evento de aposentadoria de Grão-mestre Moy Yat 梅逸, por ocasião da celebração de seu 60º aniversário, tendo tido a oportunidade de conhecer e visitar alguns dos principais núcleos e mestres internacionais de Ving Tsun.
A partir dessa data, acompanhou seu "Si Fu"(MEstre) Leo Imamura em dezenas de viagens internacionais, as principais dentre estas, para as cidades de Buenos Aires (Bs.As), Miami (FL), Nashville (TN), Murray (KY), Dayton (OH), Filadélfia (PA), Voorhees (NJ) e Nova Iorque (NY), além de Toronto, no Canadá, Hong Kong e várias províncias da China continental.
Pertenceu ao primeiro grupo de toda a Família Moy Yat Sang a iniciar os treinamentos do Nível Superior Final, o que se deu no ano de 1998, juntamente com o Mestre Senior Renato Almeida (Moy Ah Mei Da 梅亞美打) e o Mestre Senior Nataniel Rosa (Moy Na Tan 梅那丹), sendo, dentre estes, o único não-residente em São Paulo.

In New York, in 1997, Senior Master Julio Camacho joined the Brazilian delegation in the historic retirement event of Grand Master Moy Yat 梅 逸, on the occasion of the celebration of his 60th birthday, and had the opportunity to meet and visit some of the main international centers and masters of Ving Tsun.
From that date, he accompanied his "Si Fu"(Master) Leo Imamura in dozens of international trips, the main among them, to the cities of Buenos Aires (Bs.As), Miami (FL), Nashville (TN), Murray (KY) , Dayton (OH), Philadelphia (PA), Voorhees (NJ) and New York (NY), as well as Toronto, Canada, Hong Kong and several provinces in mainland China.
He belonged to the first group of the entire Moy Yat Sang Family to begin the  Final Higher Level training, which took place in 1998, together with Senior Master Renato Almeida (Moy Ah Mei Da 梅亞 美 打) and Senior Master Nataniel Rosa (Moy Na Tan 梅 那 丹), being among them the only non-resident in São Paulo.
Na seqüência desses eventos, no dia 28 de junho de 2002, foi o 3º praticante a completar todo o Sistema Ving Tsun, concluindo formalmente todos os seus níveis de desenvolvimento, de acordo com as bases do Programa Moy Yat Ving Tsun de Inteligência Marcial.
Em 15 de março de 2003, no histórico evento na cidade de Atibaia, São Paulo(FOTO), tendo cerca de 600 membros como testemunhas, recebeu de seu Mestre, a Autorização Total de Transmissão do Sistema Ving Tsun, tornando-se Mestre Qualificado, ao lado de Moy Ah Mei Da, Moy Baai Da, Moy On Da San e Moy Na Tan, em um momento único que promoveu a Família ao status de Clã Moy Yat Sang. Sendo dos cinco mestres, o mais jovem.

Following these events, on June 28, 2002, he was the third practitioner to complete the entire Ving Tsun System, formally concluding all his development levels, according to the bases of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Program of Martial Intelligence.
On March 15, 2003, at the historic event in the city of Atibaia, São Paulo(PHOTO), with about 600 members as witnesses, he received from his Master the Total Transmission Authorization of the Ving Tsun System, becoming Qualified Master, alongside Moy Ah Mei Da, Moy Baai Da, Moy On Da San and Moy On Tan, in a unique moment that promoted the Family to the status of Clan Moy Yat Sang. Being of the five masters, the youngest.

No ano de 2006, representou o Brasil, acompanhando a Matriarca da Linhagem Moy Yat e a comitiva de Mestres Seniores de volta às cidades-berço do Sistema Ving Tsun na China.
Em visita a Hong Kong, demonstrou os conteúdos tradicionais do Sistema Ving Tsun na histórica sede da Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Association.

In 2006, he represented Brazil, accompanying the Matriarch of the Moy Yat Lineage and the group of Senior Masters back to the cradle cities of the Ving Tsun System in China.
On a visit to Hong Kong, he demonstrated the traditional contents of the Ving Tsun System at the historic Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Association.

No ano de 2007, foi o introdutor do Sistema Ving Tsun na África Meridional, iniciando a transmissão do Sistema Ving Tsun em Angola. Ato este que se seguiu nos anos de 2008 e 2010, sendo finalmente consolidado em 2018, com um dois de seus principais Discípulos: William Franco e Guilherme de Farias, dirigindo o Núcleo Talatona em Luanda.

In 2007, he was the introducer of the Ving Tsun System in Southern Africa, initiating the transmission of the Ving Tsun System in Angola. This act followed in 2008 and 2010, and was finally consolidated in 2018, with two of his main Disciples: William Franco and Guilherme de Farias, directing the Talatona School of Moy Yat Ving Tsun in Luanda.

No ano de 2007, iniciou o processo de expansão do Sistema Ving Tsun na Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, inaugurando unidades, nas Zonas Sul (Leblon), Oeste (Barra da Tijuca) e Norte (Méier) da cidade.

A Unidade Méier, que começou suas atividades em Abril de 2007,  e finalmente em 2011, se tornou um Núcleo Certificado. Se estabelecendo como o primeiro do Grande Clã Moy Yat Sang a ser dirigido por um membro de Décima Segunda Geração. Mais tarde, o Núcleo Méier passou a ser um Mo Gun da Família Moy Fat Lei, e o primeiro do mesmo Grande Clã, a ser dirigido por um Si Fu de Décima segunda Geração.

The Méier Studio, which started its activities in April 2007, and finally in 2011, became a Certified Moy Yat Ving Tsun School. Establishing itself as the first of the Grand Clan Moy Yat Sang to be directed by a member of Twelfth Generation. Later, the Méier School became a Mo Gun of the Moy Fat Lei Family, and the first of the same Grand Clan Moy Yat Sang, to be directed by a Si Fu of the Twelfth Generation.

Começou desde o último ano com a ajuda de alguns de seus discípulos mais próximos, um trabalho tão inovador que seus benefícios serão aproveitados não só por sua contemporaneidade, como também por gerações a posteriori.

In the year 2018, Senior Master Julio Camacho, with the consent of the living legend of Ving Tsun in South America, Grand Master Leo Imamura, who is his Master. Porque eu ainda não sei, nem nunca vou saber o quanto o senhor é bom de luta, ainda que tenha meus palpites(risos). Mas acredito que nunca vou ver outra pessoa enfrentar a vida da forma que o senhor enfrenta. 
E acredite, que a sua preocupação dita a mim anos atrás, de que o senhor não queria ser o elo da corrente a se partir, não aconteceu. Nós ainda estamos aqui, e estaremos sempre com o senhor.
