Special presence of Prof. Vanise Almeida at MYVT Meier School

 

Minha Si Taai é a Professora Vanise Almeid[FOTO]a. Ela é uma das lideranças do Grande Clã Moy Yat Sang, juntamente com o meu Si Gung Leo Imamura. Uma de suas grandes especialidades é o seu trabalho no Programa chamado 'IMC', que significa 'Inteligência Marcial para Crianças'. Graças à sugestão de Daniel Eustáquio, um dos meus discípulos que vem realizando um trabalho especial com crianças no Núcleo Méier, entendeu-se que para essa atividade seria fundamental contar com a presença da Si Taai.

Si Gung demonstrou em diferentes momentos da Visita Oficial como fazer uso de outras pessoas que possuem um conhecimento mais aprofundado do que o seu em determinado tema. Havía sido assim na manhã anterior, com meu Si Hing Leonardo Reis, ao tratar da influência da inteligência artificial para o profissional de artes marciais do futuro, e novamente no café da manhã de domingo com a presença da Si Taai.

My Si Taai is Professor Vanise Almeida[photo]. She is one of the leaders of the Grand Moy Yat Sang Clan alongside my Si Gung Leo Imamura. One of her significant specialties is her work on the programme called in portuguese 'IMC,' which stands for 'Martial Intelligence for Children.' Thanks to a suggestion from Daniel Eustáquio, one of my disciples who has been conducting a special programme with children at the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Méier, it was understood that the presence of Si Taai was crucial for this activity.

Si Gung demonstrated at various moments during the Official Visit how to make use of individuals with a more profound knowledge than his in a particular subject. This was the case the previous morning with my Si Hing Leonardo Reis when discussing the influence of artificial intelligence on the future martial arts professional, and again during Sunday's breakfast with the presence of Si Taai.

Chovia bastante naquela manhã, e eu estava envolto em questões relacionadas à confirmação do voo do Si Gung mais tarde. Como a organização da visita é primordialmente conduzida pelos próprios praticantes, para mim também foi surpresa a presença da Si Taai. Além dela, a esposa do Mestre Nataniel Rosa, a querida Sra. Patricia, também estava online. Uma longa mesa foi disposta no meio da sala de prática, e enquanto todos tomavam café da manhã, Si Taai falava através de uma conexão remota. Como sempre, tudo que Si Taai falava continha uma doçura no tom de voz. Em algum momento, diverti-me imaginando como seria Si Taai com raiva - 'Difícil imaginar...' - pensei comigo. Atrás dela, também era possível ver uma considerável quantidade de lápis de cor. Essa é uma de suas outras habilidades, que é a capacidade de ilustrar e colorir desafiando nossa imaginação, quando descobrimos que essas ilustrações não foram feitas por computador. Como a ilustração feita por ela do Si Gung para seu aniversário de 60 anos em Brasília. Foi assustador ver o quanto o resultado era perfeito.

It was raining heavily that morning, and I was immersed in matters regarding the confirmation of Si Gung's later flight. Since the organization of the visit is primarily led by the practitioners themselves, the presence of Si Taai was also a surprise to me. In addition to her, Master Nataniel Rosa's wife, dear Mrs. Patricia, was also online. A long table was arranged in the middle of the practice room, and as everyone had breakfast, Si Taai spoke through a remote connection. As always, everything Si Taai said carried a sweetness in her tone of voice. At some point, I amused myself by imagining how Si Taai would be when angry - 'Difficult to imagine...' - I thought to myself. Behind her, it was also possible to see a considerable quantity of coloured pencils. This is one of her other abilities, the skill to illustrate and colour challenging our imagination when we discover that these illustrations were not made by a computer. Like the illustration she made of Si Gung for his 60th birthday in Brasília. It was astonishing to see how perfect the result was.

Aquela manhã findou-se no almoço [FOTO] antes de partirmos para o aeroporto. Eu fiquei bastante tocado quando me levantei para falar na abertura da atividade com a Si Taai. Era muito especial tê-la ali conosco em pleno domingo pela manhã. Si Taai tocou em alguns pontos que me marcaram muito.

Em um deles, ela falou de maneira muito simples e profunda sobre o quanto o "psicológico" influencia em nossa capacidade "motora". Daí, teríamos um dos pilares do trabalho de psicomotricidade com crianças. Porém, o que mais me marcou foi quando teria dito que o tutor deste programa precisa ser capaz de ser criança para trabalhar com crianças. Essa fala me fez refletir sobre minha trajetória e o quanto o trabalho com as crianças costumava ser uma diversão só alguns anos atrás, e de como, com a quantidade de responsabilidades, me tornei alguém mais sério. Me veio à cabeça o personagem do Robin Williams em um dos meus filmes favoritos "Hook - A Volta do Capitão Gancho" de 1991. Nele, Peter Pan resolve não voltar para a Terra do Nunca, e crescendo em Londres, se torna um advogado consumido pelo trabalho e incapaz de se conectar com os filhos, ao ponto de esquecer que um dia foi Peter Pan.

Desta maneira, me veio à mente o dia da minha titulação de Mestre em 2015, quando Si Gung teria me falado da importância de sempre manter o espírito de criança. Até mesmo, porque todo o sábio chinês tem o ideograma de criança em seu nome. Que segundo ele, na oportunidade, indicava o compromisso de manter a pureza de quem está sempre disposto a aprender.

That morning concluded with lunch [PHOTO] before we headed to the airport. I was deeply moved when I stood up to speak at the opening of the activity with Si Taai. It was truly special to have her with us on a Sunday morning. Si Taai touched on some points that left a lasting impression on me.

On one occasion, she spoke in a simple yet profound manner about how the 'psychological' aspect influences our 'motor' abilities. This laid the foundation for our work in psychomotricity with children. However, what struck me the most was when she mentioned that the facilitator of this program needs to be capable of being a child to work with children. Her words made me reflect on my journey and how, with the increasing responsibilities, I've become a more serious individual. I couldn't help but think of the character played by Robin Williams in one of my favourite movies, 'Hook' from 1991. In it, Peter Pan decides not to return to Neverland and, growing up in London, becomes a work-consumed lawyer incapable of connecting with his children, to the point of forgetting that he was once Peter Pan.

In this way, my mind went back to the day of my Master's graduation in 2015 when Si Gung emphasized the importance of always maintaining a childlike spirit. Moreover, because every Chinese sage has the ideogram for 'child' in their name. According to him, this symbolizes the commitment to preserving the purity of someone always ready to learn
