REVIEW : O LUTADOR(THE WRESTLER,2008)

Eu cresci assistindo aos filmes do Rocky Balboa, e realmente você acredita que a redenção na vida de uma pessoa é sempre certa de acontecer, que tudo vai dar certo no final, que as dificuldades até surgem sempre que possível, mas com muito esforço tudo se resolve. Ainda mais porque todos a sua volta lhe apóiam e torcem por você, e quando eu assisti ao Stallone fazer este discurso(no video abaixo) para seu filho no Rocky VI (Rocky Balboa), eu realmente pensei: "Putz, só depende da gente!"

I grew up watching the movies of Rocky Balboa, and you really believe that the redemption in the life of a person is always certain to happen, that everything will go right in the end, that the difficulties happens, but with some effort is everything solves. Even more because all your friends support and backup you , and when I watched Stallone make this speech (in the video below) to his son in Rocky VI (Rocky Balboa), I really thought: "Man... It only depends on the people !”

Não que eu tenha deixado de acreditar no "Rocky way of life", mas...
...E se não der certo?
E se tudo que você fizer não adiantar nada?
E se você descobrir que nada vai dar ficar bem no final?
E se os problemas continuarem a vir e você não tiver forças pra levantar?
E se você não tiver amigos para torcerem por você??

Bom, amigo, é aí que começa "O Lutador"(The Wrestler,2008):

Mas antes de ler esta postagem, vá até o youtube e digite: Bang your head da banda QUIET RIOT. Este é o tema do personagem principal, "The Ram", quando ele entra no ringue... e claro: Aumente o som!


Bem, o filme se trata da vida de Robin Ramzinski, que atende pela alcunha de Randy "The Ram" Robinson nos ringues de wrestling, e que fez um fenomenal sucesso nos anos 80 atingindo seu auge na luta contra seu arqui-rival, o Aiatolá! Porém, agora 20 anos depois, The Ram, é apenas um cara totalmente detonado, que luta em eventos pequenos e hard-core , e morando num trailer, mal consegue pagar o aluguel. Além disso, "The Ram" trabalha num supermercado onde o gerente sempre que pode, faz uma graça com ele. Sua filha também não quer vê-lo nem pintado a ouro, ou seja, a vida dele é um lixo...

Começamos com uma sequência inicial onde são mostrados panfletos da fenomenal trajetória de sucesso de The Ram enquanto temos os creditos iniciais, e logo depois o vemos detonado sentado numa sala de jardim de infância limpando os machucados depois de mais uma luta em algum colégio.

Well, friend, thats when starts The Wrestler(2008):

Well, the movie is about the life of Robin Ramzinski that has the nickname of Randy "The Ram" Robinson in the wrestling ring, who also did a phenomenal success in the 80s reaching its peak in the fight against his arch-rival, the Ayatollah ! But now 20 years later, The Ram, is only a man completely detonated, who fight in small hard-core events, and living in a trailer, can barely pay the rent. Furthermore, "The Ram" works in a supermarket where the manager whenever he can, makes fun of him. His daughter also does not want to see him even painted in gold, that is, his life is a waste ...

We started with an initial sequence where the flyers shows phenomenal success of The trajectory of The Ram while we have the initial credits, and then see him detonated in a sitting room, clearing his injuries after a fight at some school.

Darren Aronofsky, é o brilhante diretor que com um ângulo de camera sensacional, te faz ficar inquieto na cadeira do cinema, da seguinte forma:

A imagem da camera, lembra muito algo caseiro, o que dá a sensação de que aquilo realmente está acontecendo, além disso, Darren passa boa parte do filme, filmando parte das costas de The Ram(tipo o ombro), conforme ele vai andando. Isso dá a impressão de que você está do lado dele, e que a cada burrada que ele faz, você tem o poder de dizer: "Não seu maluco!" ou que a cada momento difícil você também pode dar uma mão ao cara. Além disso, este ângulo faz com que pareça que todo momento da vida do cara fosse como se ele estivesse entrando num ringue...

Sabe, não é só mais a luta final com o Apollo Creed(Rocky), e que se dane o resto , é "porrada no peito" o tempo todo, sem parar, cada lugar, cada pessoa, é como um ringue atrás do outro, e você não tem tempo de respirar. Esse conceito fica escancarado, quando The Ram entra para trabalhar no açougue do mercado, o espectador ouve o som de torcedores como se fosse numa arena de wrestling. É uma experiência marcante!


The Ram consegue uma nova luta com o Aiatolá para comemorar os 20 anos da antológica disputa, mas ele descobre que tem um problema sério no coração devido a contusões e principalmente uso de drogas e que não pode mais lutar. The Ram ainda tenta voltar a ter contato com sua filha, mas essa é outra história, assim como seu relacionamento com a stripper Cassidy (Marisa Tomei).

Darren Aronofsky, who is the brilliant director gives you a great camera angle, that makes you become restless in the chair of cinema, as follows: The image of the camera, remember something very poor, giving the impression that was really happening, moreover, Darren pass a good part of the film, filming from the back of The Ram (like the shoulder) as he goes along. This gives the impression that you are by his side, and that every stupid thing he does, you have the power to say: "Not your crazy!" or that every difficult time you can give a hand to that man. Furthermore, this angle makes it appear that every time of the guy's life was as if he were entering a ring ... You know, is not more only a final fight with Apollo Creed (Rocky), and that screw the rest, is "punch on the chest" all the time without stopping, every place, every person, is like a ring after another and you do not have time to breathe. This concept is really show, when The Ram goes to work at market as a bucher, the viewer hears the sound of fans as if he were in an arena of wrestling. It is a remarkable experience! The new Ram can fight with the Ayatollah to celebrate 20 years of the anthological match, but he also discovers that he has a serious problem in the heart due to bruising and especially drug use and that can no longer fight. The Ram yet again tries to have contact with his daughter, but that is another story, as well as him relationship with the stripper Cassidy (Marisa Tomei).

Mickey Rourke é mais um caso da "síndrome de Robert Downey Jr" , ou seja, aqueles casos em que o ator parece estar interpretando a si mesmo na tela. Pois assim como o filho de Robert Downey em o Homem de Ferro parecia com seu personagem, Mickey Rourke praticamente mostra até que ponto a decadência pode atingir um homem, e este que já foi considerado símbolo sexual com o filme "9 semanas e meia de amor" sabe falar disso...

Mickey Rourke is an another case of the new "Robert Downey Jr syndrome". That happens in cases when the actor seems like starring a movie about himself on the screen. 'Cause as the son of mister Robert Downey did in Iron Man(cause Tony Starks was very similar to him), Mickey Rourke shows how far the decadence can hits a man, and this actor who once a time was considered a sex symbol with the movie "9 1/2 weeks..." can tell about that...

Ele é Vince Mcmahon, simplesmente o dono da WWE, a federação, o show de TV, o império do wrestling norte-americano.(ou o antigo tele-catch , que na versão brasileira contava com A Múmia, Ted Boy marino, o Robô,etc )..

Com "um olho no padre e outro na Missa", Mr. Mcmahon como é mais conhecido contratou Mickey Rourke para atuar e lutar como "The Ram" no WWE contra o lutador Chris Jericho!

He is Vince Mcmahon, simply the owner of the WWE, the federation,the Tv show, the empire of american wrestling(we also had a brazilian version called Tele-Catch)

And without wasting time, Mr. Mcmahon, as people knows him, hired Mickey Rourke to act and fight as The Ram against Chris Jericho!!!
Jericho é um dos astros da WWE, e é este que vemos acima. Os fãs quando souberam disso(e isso inlcui a mim)ficaram malucos,e estão aguardando esta luta, e aqui, vou citar um colunista de um site que frequento que ponderou sobre a seguinte possibilidade:

"Cara, imagina se o Mickey Rourke ganha o Oscar, e quando chega ao púpito para agradecer manda um: "JERICHO! I´LL GET YOU!" ao melhor estilo WWE?"

hahaha pena que isso não aconteceu! Mas enfim, sabemos agora que The Ram voltará aos ringues em breve!!!

Jericho is one of the stars of WWE, and he is that one up. The fans when knew about this(including me) went crazy and are waiting for this match, and now, I´ll put some lines of a guy from a site that I often visit:

"Dude, imagine if Mickey Rourke wins the Oscar amd when he is going to give the "Thanks" for everybody he scream: "JERICHO! I`LL GET YOU!!" as the best WWE style?"

hehehe it´s very sad that will not happen anymore, but now we know that The Ram will be back on the rings very soon!

This was just one more commercial made by my Blog without any money for me, but the Blog recomends! But look, I said: "recomends" , not "Go to the movies" ... hehehe
