"Kung Fury" é um filme sueco de 2015, produzido por um gênio da edição e efeitos especiais chamado David Sandberg que faz o papel principal nessa produção. O filme, é uma homenagem nunca antes vista , todo filmado em cromaqui e com pós-produção de David.
Foi lançado um trailer em 2014 para arrecadar o dinheiro suficiente , cerca de 600 mil dólares, que foram arecadados através de "crowding funding" em horas.

 Esse ano David Sandberg anúnciou em sua página do Instagram que "Kung Fury II" seria anúnciado no Festival de Filmes de Berlim e começaria a ser filmado no final do verão europeu.
O que pegou mesmo todos de surpresa, é que nos dias que se seguiram, também em sua página do instagram, Sandberg anunciou que Michael Fassbender e Arnold Shwarzenegger se juntaram a produção: "Welcome to the Kung Fury family Michael Fassbender" - escreveu Sandberg. Sobre Arnold , o gênio sueco escreveu: "Honrado além de minha capacidade de crer que tenho a chance de trabalhar com o primeiro e único Arnold Shwarzenegger!"

This year David Sandberg announced on his Instagram page that "Kung Fury II" would be announced at the Berlin Film Festival and would begin filming later this summer.
