Minha ideia era assistir "Boneco do Mal" (The Boy, 2016) na última Sexta, mas então lembrei que "O Tigre e o Dragão 2 : A Espada do Destino" seria lançado naquele mesmo dia na NETFLIX, de forma que eu poderia assistir do conforto do lar.
É verdade que os trailers não tinham me convencido nem um pouco. A luta aérea na pagoda entre as personagens de Donnie Yen e Jason Scott-Lee haviam me tirado todo o ânimo e apenas uma cena em especial me fez voltar a cogitar que o filme seria bom: A cena do trailer na qual Vaso-Nevado tenta tocar a espada "Destino Verde" e apenas com o cabo Shu Lien a faz recuar como um singelo aviso.
Coloquei as configurações para Mandarin com legendas em Português BR e o filme então começou...
Ao fundo da primeira cena, a trilha sonora do filme original de 2000 de Tan Dun e Yo-Yo Ma tocou ao fundo e devo confessar que meus olhos ficaram marejados. Não pela cena, mas por tudo que "O Tigre e o Dragão" e sua fantástica trilha sonora representaram em minha vida. Porém, logo após o título a primeira decepção : A voz da atriz Michelle Yeoh narrava algo sobre o "Círculo Marcial" , que na tradução da Netflix virou "Mundo Marcial" , e a legenda não captava. Voltei o filme duas vezes e o mesmo aconteceu. Fui então obrigado a assistir dublado e acredite : A tal cena com a narração ao fundo simplesmente ficou sem som em português!!!
Tenho que admitir que quando Shu Lien surgiu de dentro da carruagem para enfrentar os mal-feitores que a cercaram, meu coração pulou junto! Era como reencontrar um velho amigo! E devo dizer que a dublagem ficou muito bem feita!
A partir dessa cena, posso dizer que começou o calvário deste fã que vos escreve: Se no filme original as locações eram um dos pontos-altos da produção, nesse foi usado tanto chroma-key que me pergunto se em algum momento os atores realmente deixaram o estúdio!
Donnie Yen aparece no filme como a personagem "Lobo-Silencioso", e ele realmente traz peso a cada cena que aparece junto de Michelle Yeoh (Shu Lien) . Mas isso não foi o suficiente para cenas copiadas do original, coreografias tão lentas quanto filmes da Shaw Brothers dos anos '70 e o principal: ESTEREÓTIPOS!
Jason Scott-Lee que faz o vilão (Hades Dai) é um desses estereótipos. Sua própria indumentária , que tem uma serpente de ferro saltando de seu protetor peitoral não faz o menor sentido. É como quando você é adolescente e usa uma camisa de uma banda de rock para ser reconhecido como rockeiro. Imaginei ele acordando pela manhã e pensando: "Bom...Vejamos o que um vilão vestiria!" - Sua participação é pífia e infundada. E veja: Já é a segunda vez que u filme com Jason Scott-Lee nos deixa ansiosos e depois nos decepciona: Primeiro com "Dragão - A história de Bruce Lee" e agora com "O Tigre e o Dragão 2 : A Espada do Destino".
Mas nada, nem ninguém foi tão prejudicado quanto...
My idea was watching The Boy(2016) last Friday, but then remembered that "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: Sword of Destiny" would be released that very day in NETFLIX, so that I could watch the at the comfort of my fianceé´s home.
It is true that the trailers had not convinced me one bit. The aerial fighting on the pagoda between characters of Donnie Yen and Jason Scott-Lee had taken all heart and only one scene in particular made me re-think the film would be good: The scene in which Snow-Vase tries to touch the sword "Green Destiny" and only with the handle Shu Lien makes her back as a simple warning.
I put the settings for Mandarin with subtitles in Portuguese BR and the film then began ...
At the bottom of the first scene, the soundtrack of the original film of year 2000 by Tan Dun and Yo-Yo Ma played in the background and I must confess that my eyes were teary. Not because of the scene, but for all that "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and its fantastic soundtrack represented in my life. However, after the title the first disappointment: The voice of the actress Michelle Yeoh narrated something about "Martial Circles," which in translation by Netflix turned to "Martial World", and the subtitle does not captured. I returned the film twice and the same thing happened. I was then forced to watch voiced in portuguese and believe it or not: The scene with such narration in the background simply was no sound in Portuguese !!!
I have to admit that when Shu Lien emerged from the carriage to face the evil-doers that surrounded her, my heart jumped together! It was like meeting again an old friend! And I must say that the voice in portuguese was very well done!
From this scene, I can tell that began the ordeal for this fan who writes to you: The locations of the original movie were one of the main points of that production , but this time was used so many chroma-key I wonder if at some point the actors really left the studio!
Donnie Yen appears in the film as the character "Silent Wolf", and he really brings weight to every scene that appears next to Michelle Yeoh (Shu Lien). But that was not enough to scenes copied from the original, choreographed as slow as the Shaw Brothers films from the '70s and the principal point: Stereotypes!
Jason Scott-Lee who is the villain (Hades Dai) is one of those stereotypes. His own clothing, which has an iron serpent leaping from his chest protector does not make any sense. It's like when you're a teenager and uses a shirt of a rock band to be recognized as a rocker. I imagined him waking up in the morning and thinking, "Well ... Let's see what a villain wears!" - His participation is lackluster and unfounded. And look: This is the second time a movie with Jason Scott-Lee leaves us anxious and then disappoint us: First with "Dragon - The story of Bruce Lee" and now with "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: Sword of Destiny ".
But nothing and no one was hurt as much ...

Yuen Woo Ping, não é apenas "O coreógrafo de Matrix e Kill Bill Vol. 1 e 2" , como o anúncio da NETFLIX vendeu sua participação na produção como autor , diretor e coreógrafo. Ele é o gênio de pérolas como "Snake in the Eagle´s Shadow" no qual não só dirigiu seu pai Simon Yuen (foto) , que eternizaria o tipo que interpretou nessa produção como simplesmente "descobriu o verdadeiro potencial" de Jackie Chan(foto).
Yuen Woo Ping foi o coreógrafo do filme original , mas nesse, acredito que ele pegou uma bomba assim como Zé Padilha em "ROBOCOP". Pois fiz questão de ver os créditos finais só pra ter certeza da quantidade de produtores e produtores executivos americanos de "O Tigre e o Dragão 2 : A Espada do Destino". Que com certeza, assim como fizeram os de "ROBOCOP" com Zé Padilha, não deixaram muito espaço para a genialidade de Yuen Woo Ping. Uma pena, pois foi a primeira vez que ele, Donnie Yen e Michelle Yeoh estiveram juntos desde "Wing Chun , o filme" (de 1994).
Yuen Woo Ping is not only "The choreographer of The Matrix and Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2" as the NETFLIX ad sold his stake in production as author, director and choreographer. He is the genius of pearls as "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow" in which not only directed his father Simon Yuen (photo), who made famous forever the type he played in this production as simply "discovered the true potential"of Jackie Chan (photo )'s career.
Yuen Woo Ping was the choreographer of the original film, but this time, I think he took a bomb as Zé Padilha as director of the new "ROBOCOP". Because I made a point of seeing the end credits of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: Sword of Destiny."just to make sure the number of producers and executive-producers that were all American Sure, as they did with "ROBOCOP" and Zé Padilha, not left much room for the genius of Yuen Woo Ping. A pity, because it was the first time he, Donnie Yen and Michelle Yeoh have been together since "Wing Chun, themovie" (1994).
