"TIGRE E O DRAGÃO 2" NA NETFLIX! (CROUCHING TIGER,HIDDEN DRAGON2 ON NETFLIX)

A pentalogia de livros de Wuxia de Wang Du Lu, da qual o filme "O Tigre e o Dragão"(foto) faz parte como o quarto da série. Terá seu quinto livro transformado em filme. Ele se chama "O vaso de prata e o Guerreiro de ferro" no original, porém nas telonas será "O Tigre e o Dragão 2: A Lenda Verde".

Este filme traz Donnie Yen (Ip Man 1 e 2) como o personagem "Lobo Silencioso" e Michelle Yeoh(O Tigre e o Dragão) volta como Yu Shu Lien.
Yuen Woo Ping que fez as coreografias do filme de 2000, volta como diretor e também diretor de coreografia.

O roteiro ficou por conta de John Fusco. O que preocupa é a ausência de Ang Lee, o visionário diretor de "O Tigre e o Dragão" nesta continuação.

Fusco, Harvey Weinstein and Netflix estão produzindo este filme que se chamará "O Tigre e o Dragão : A lenda verde" (Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend). A pretensão é que o filme tenha sua estréia simultanea tanto na Netflix americana quanto em salas IMAX.
De acordo com entrevista concedida ao Business Insider pelo Chefe de Conteúdo do NetFlix Ted Sarandos: "Os fãs vão ter uma escolha sem precedentes em como curtir um filme memorável que combina ação intensa e uma incrível beleza" -Disse ele através de nota - "Nós estamos honrados em trabalharmos com a Harvey Weinstein e com um time de primeira linha de criadores para levar esta história épica a pessoas de todo o mundo partilhando isso com o IMAX, uma marca que representa a mais alta qualidade de entretenimento de imersão em distribuição de filmes"

Fusco, Harvey Weinstein and Netflix are producing this movie . The intention is that the film has its premiere simultaneously in both the American Netflix as on IMAX. 
According to Business Insider interview with the Head of Content Netflix Ted Sarandos:
“Fans will have unprecedented choice in how they enjoy and amazing and memorable film that combines intense action and incredible beauty,” he said in a statement. “We are honored to be working with Harvey Weinstein and a world-class team of creators to bring this epic story to people all over the world and to partner with IMAX, a brand that represents the highest quality of immersive entertainment, in the distribution of this film.”

O pessoal da Weinstein tem uma opinião um pouco mais contida: " A experiência do ramo de cinema está evoluindo rapidamente e profundamente, e a Netflix é inquestionávelmente a vanguarda desse movimento. 
Nós estamos tremendamente animados em continuar nossa grande relação com a Netflix ao trazer para os fãs do mundo todo o capítulo mais recente desta incrivél e intrigante história."

People from Weinstein was a bit more reserved in his statement: “The moviegoing experience is evolving quickly and profoundly, and Netflix is unquestionably at the forefront of that movement. We are tremendously excited to be continuing our great relationship with Netflix and bringing to fans all over the world the latest chapter in this amazing and intriguing story.”

Também segundo o Business Insider, a família detentora dos direitos da Pentalogia foi procurada diversas vezes pela SONY por exemplo, a fim de adquiri-los , porém, devido ao baixo montante de dinheiro que conseguiram ao vender "O Tigre e o Dragão"(2000), a Família estava pronta para negociar de forma mais pesada.
Desta vez eles conseguiram uma nova negociação, e a The Weinstein Company que foi quem conseguiu os direitos, vai gastar no mínimo US$ 20 milhões segundo nota.

Also according to Business Insider, the rights holder family of the Pentalogy  was contacted several times by SONY for example, in order to acquire the rights of the books, however, due to the low amount of money they were able to sell "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (2000 ), the family was ready to negotiate more heavily. 
This time they got a new negotiation, and The Weinstein Company who was who got the rights, will spend at least $ 20 million according to a statement.

Segundo a empresa, este novo momento representa talvez algo parecido com a "Era de Ouro" da TV a Cabo. As pessoas depois dela, cada vez mais querem escolher o que ver e na hora que quiserem. Por muito tempo pensaram em fazer isso também com os filmes. "Ir até o cinema ou assistir em casa?"  ...
Muitas perguntas ficam no ar com essa nova maneira de fazer cinema.
