NEW LEGENDS OF KUNG FU MASTERS:
VING TSUN´S GAS STATIONAND CHINA 2012
You who are arriving now, might not know about what meant this tiny place in the convenience shop beside the shopping barra garden during 5 years.Every Saturday morning we had breakfast at that location, or even when myself get out of work in the afternoons of Wednesday stressed, with personal problems, rolled up in College, etc etc, and was taking a snack there before the trainning session that I could relax to be fine when I opened the Mo Gun. so it was very nice to get back there with Si Fu on this last Thursday. Si Fu was very excited about the trip to China, showed us some amazing photos and videos.Guilherme and Si Sok Jones Ullman also were there.

For Si Fu, among other important things that had contact in his journey, what most marked him, according to his own words, was the family spirit in the places that he visited. He cited Si Taai Baak Gung Lung Gaai, who is a gentleman well aged with almost 70 years of Kung Fu who had his Si Fu dead in 1972, and according to Si Fu until today he talks about Ip Man as if he had spent the weekend with him.Si Fu still talking about the Kung Fu Family subject that he listened from Lun Gaai, so many decades after Lun Gaai could not barely separate his life like outside and inside the Family. It's all one thing only ...
Another interesting story was Si Fu said that the heir to the lineage Yuen Kai San from Faat San , has in his house, on the first wall a huge photo of Yuen Kai San.

Si Fu talked a lot about the importance of Si Baak Gung Micky Chan and Si Sok Gung Wing, on this trip. The careful attention of the two with the Brazilian delegation, and the important support in contact with the Si Fus and other personalities during this trip, could only be possible with the help of these two amazing people.Si Sok Andrew (pictured left), from Argentina, resident in Hong Kong a few years ago where he worked as an actor (read his interview for the for the blog here), also left himself available for the family.
All this hard work of members of KF Family wich not see each other everyday and all those stories, made me rethink about the way that I have seen the Kung Fu Family today. Some of the happiest moments, striking and important. Fun, sad and heavy, were lived alongside my Si Fu and Kung Fu family. And this reminds me of the words of Si Taai Gung Moy Yat:
"You ask why I'm good in Kung Fu. It is because you are only practicing Kung Fu in your schedule twice a week, I am a Si Fu 24/7"
