Esse fazendo uma ponte , é o Si Gung. Ele treina já há alguns anos na escolinha de goleiros do Zetti,ex-goleiro do SPFC.

Si Fu, Si Sok Ursula e Si Sok Soares, estiveram em São Paulo na ultima semana, devido ao processo de titulação de Felipe Soares para se tornar um Mestre Qualificado. Por ter feito mais do que importante nesse processo, seu Si Hing que também é meu Si Fu Julio Camacho, teve sua viagem de ida e volta ofertada pelo próprio Si Sok Felipe Soares em gesto de retribuição.

This goalkeeper above making a defense called "The bridge" in Brazil, is my Si Gung Leo Imamura. He trains for some years in the school of ex-professional goalkeeper Zetti, former goalkeeper of the Sao Paulo Football Club.
 

Si Fu, Si Sok Ursula and Si Sok Felipe, were in São Paulo State last week, due to the Qualified Master titling process of Felipe Soares . Being an important person in this process, his Si Hing who is also my Si Fu Julio Camacho, had his round trip offered by the Si Sok Felipe as a gesture of retribution.

Quando chegaram ao aeroporto, Si Fu e os dois Si Sok foram recebidos pelo próprio Si Gung e sua discipula Si Sok Cris Azevedo. De la eles partiram para Salto,onde Si Gung mora, e entre as atividades foram almoçar em Itu. Mais tarde , foram para São Paulo onde ocorreria a Cerimônia de Baai Si da esposa de Si Sok Marcelo Abreu...

When they arrived at the airport,Si Fu and two Si Sok  were received by  Si Gung and and his disciple Si Sok Chris Azevedo. So, they went to Salto city, where Si Gung is living and lamong the activities lunched in Itu. Later, went to São Paulo capital where the ceremony the Baai Si Ceremony of Si Sok MArcelo Abreu´s wife, Ming, would take place...

Ming, que aparece no canto direito, é chinesa, e depois de muitos anos acompanhando a Familia Kung Fu junto de seu marido, Ming , que não fala português, ligou diretamente para Si Gung para expressar seu desejo em iniciar a pratica do Ving Tsun, mas ao contrário do que é feito hoje em nosso Clã, Ming pediu para fazer o Baai Si antes mesmo de começar, do jeito chinês. E ela disse: "I take the word Si Fu very seriously" ("Eu levo muito a sério a palavra Si Fu").

Ming convidou a todos os presentes para um jantar num restaurante japonês super bacana, que Si Sok MArcelo Abreu ja tinha levado Si Fu e Jones a pouco tempo, Na foto vemos esse momento.

Ming, who appears in the right corner, is Chinese, and after many years following the Kung Fu Family with her ​​husband, Ming, who does not speak Portuguese, made a phone call directly to Si Gung to express her desire to begin the practice of Ving Tsun, but contrary to what is done today in our clan,  Ming asked to do Baai Si before even start, as the Chinese way. VING TSUN STRIKES IN NFL (VING TSUN NA LIGA DE FUTEBOL AMERICANO)

Carlos Antunes, discipulo de Si fu Julio Camacho e de Si Mo Daniela Camacho, é praticante de um esporte pouco conhecido no Brasil: O Futebol Americano.
Carlos gosta tanto, que é capaz de ir a Pub´s em nossa cidade assistir as finais com amigos, seja de seu time favorito , Arizona Cardinals, ou qualquer outro time da NFL...

Carlos Antunes(photo), disciple of  my Si fu Julio Camacho and Si Mo Si Daniela Camacho(photo), is practicing a sport little known in Brazil: The American Football.
Carlos likes so much that he goes in our city's Pubs to watch the finals with friends, being an Arizona Cardinals game, his favorite one, or any other NFL team ...

O que Carlos Antunes não sabe, é que em edição recente da SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, veio um artigo chamado "Kung Fu Fighter" onde descobrimos que o jogador do Seattle Seahawks , Chike Okeafor, usa o Ving Tsun, que aprende no mesmo Mo gun que Robert Downey Jr (Homem-de-Ferro), para melhorar seu desempenho no futebol.

What Carlos Antunes do not know is that in a recent issue of Sports Illustrated, came an article called "Kung Fu Fighter" where we discover that the player of the Seattle Seahawks, Chike Okeafor uses the Ving Tsun,that he learns in the same Mo gun that Robert  Downey Jr ( Iron Man), to improve his performance in american football.

AN ANOTHER AFTERNOON IN MOY YAT VING TSUN RIO (UMA OUTRA TARDE NA MYVT RIO DE JANEIRO!)

"...O sábio chinês é levado a concentrar a atenção no curso das coisas, tal como está envolvido nele, para descobrir-lhe a coerência e tirar proveito de sua evolução... Após um mês com 8 quadrados de madeira pendurados no Jing Tong..rs Lucianos Freitas, Lucas Eustáquio e Raphael Evaristo, que não aparece na foto, foram os responsáveis por ajustar o Mo Gun do Méier de acordo com os demais Nucleos do Rio de Janeiro.

After almost 1 month , the new layout of Meier ´s memorial wall (Jing Tong) is on! Thanks to the membres Luciano Freitas, Lucas Eustáquio e Raphael Evaristo were the ones who did that.

O trabalho final ficou ótimo. Levando-se em conta que Lucas estava quase "chorando", se pode-se assim dizer , pois não fazia idéia de como preparar os Saam Wai. Mas Lucas talvez não perceba o quanto já é capaz, e me emociona muito pode crescer junto com ele nesse processo.

Lucas, was almost crying telling me that he was not able to do that, but I think that this young man does not know his own potential. And I was very touched to see that me and him are growing up together.

O antes pequeno Lucas, que agora já é maior do que eu, ontem saiu do Mo Gun após 4 horas de muito trabalho e quebrar a cabeça para conseguir preparar este local. Não estava nada planejado, e o momento mais bacana foi quando Lucas quis ir embora, mas não conseguiu sair antes de finalizar o que tinha começado.

The little Lucas, that now is bigger than me, yesterday stayed at MYVT Meier Mo Gun for 4 hours working a lot to make the thing happens. And one of the greatest moments was when he was almost giving up , but he could not let himself go away without finish his own work.


E você , pode pensar no que o Lucas ganha com isso ao invés de ter passado 4 horas socando e chutando.

And you may think about why Lucas did that when he could spend 4 hours kicking and punching.

Somente um Mo Gun pode propiciar este tipo de situação , onde praticantes tão diferentes quanto Lucas, que ainda é um adolescente, e seu Si Hing Luciano que já é pai de cinco filhos com 32 anos, se juntam para trabalhar em prol de algo que a principio nem passava pelas suas cabeças quando começaram.

Only in a Mo Gun , you can see two differente persons like Lucas (a teenager) and Luciano(father of five children) team up for something that they was not even thinking about when they joined the Family.

Não espere que eu te diga aqui, qual a razão deste tipo de momento, não espere, que eu te diga aqui o que eles aprenderam com isso tudo. Mas a única coisa que posso dizer a você que está lendo, é que eu conheci um Lucas e um Luciano e hoje eu sou irmão Kung Fu de duas pessoas completamente diferentes, tanto tecnicamente quanto como pessoas.

Do not expect from me to tell you what the purpose of these moments, or what they´ve learn from that experience. But the only thing that I can tell you, is that I met a Lucas and Luciano and nowadays I know two different KF Brothers , in techniques and as a person.

A POST ABOUT FRIENDSHIP PART 1 (UM POST SOBRE AMIZADE - PARTE 1)

No final do ano passado, meu Si Dai e grande amigo, Carlos Antunes(foto), me emprestou logo que fui morar sozinho, os DVD´s da série, Band Of Brothers. Uma produção da HBO sobre guerra contando a história da Companhia EASY com seu Major Dick Winters no comando.

Fiquei refletindo muito no por que Carlos disse que "Gostaria muito si hing que você visse". Pra ser honesto , até hoje não entendi bem. Mas a série, que se passa na segunda guerra, mostra a amizade que nasce entre homens que o tempo todo se veêm em situações de crise. E foi possível reparar , que são laços completamente diferentes (não melhores nem piores) , mas diferentes dos que você forma por aí...

At the end of last year, my close friend and Si Dai Carlos Antunes (photo above), loaned me as soon as I moved from my mom´s ´lace for living alone, the DVD series, Band Of Brothers. A production by HBO about war  telling the story of Easy Company with its Major Dick Winters in command.

I was reflecting a lot on why Carlos said "I would love you to watch this Si hing!" To be honest, until today did not quite understand. But the series, which takes place in the second war, shows that friendship is born between the time that men find themselves in crisis situations. It was possible to notice, which are bonds completely different (not better or worse), but different from the way you do in your daily life ...

A POST ABOUT FRIENDSHIP - PART 1

Havia deixado meu carro em frente ao Mo Gun na ultima Quinta, e fui buscá-lo na Sexta ,já que tinha um compromisso nas proximidades. Quando cheguei lá, encontrei um Si Sok Homero e um Si Fu com -bermudas, chinelo ou sandálias num clima muito descontraído de bate-papo. E acabei me juntando a eles.

I had left my car in front of the Mo Gun  last Thursday, and I was going to pick it up on Friday because I had an appointment nearby. When I got there I found a Si Sok Homero and a Si Fu with shorts, slippers or sandals in an atmosphere of very relaxed chat. And I ended up joining them.

 Em 1993, eu ainda estava no antigo primário, e você pode me achar na extrema direita segurando um facão de cartolina com uma camisa de onça. Uma criança.

In 1993 , I was still playing characters in my School June plays. You can see me as the first one from right to left.

 Em 1993, enquanto eu ensaiava as musicas da Elba Ramalho para a Festa Junina do Salesiano,
Si Sok Homero entrava na FAmilia Kung Fu. E como vemos na foto, fez seu Baai Si pouco tempo depois, exatamente com seu Si Hing, Julio Camacho, que também é meu Si Fu ao seu lado.

In this same year, Si Sok Homero was already being accepted in the Kung Fu FAmily. And some time after that, doing the Baai Si Ceremony, with his dear SI Hing, and my Si Fu, by his side holding the tea cup board.

Por isso, estar na companhia do Si Sok é sempre muito bacana. Ele conta histórias de épocas longinquas, e não seria dificil vir na sua cabeça sempre que ele conta uma história de outros tempos da Familia Kung Fu, a voz do narrador do filme  "Conan, o Barbaro":(1982) "Entre a época em que o mar engoliu Atlantis, e o surgimento dos filhos de áries , existia uma era incrivel....  Deixe-me contar a você sobre os dias de altas aventuras...."

Atrás de nós na parede, encontram-se pendurados alguns quadros da coleção "Blush-Strokes" de autoria de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat.

Thats why stay with him is so cool, 'cause he tells stories from very far away eras of the Kung Fu Family in Brazil. And if you listen the man from "Conan, the barbarian"(1982) saying he intro text: "Between the time when the ocean drank Atlantis , and the raise of the sons of Aries, there was a time undreamable...Let me tell you the times of high adventure" in your mind when Si Sok tells you a story, dont think it is strange. Its because the man is very old in our KF Family...

Those pictures was given by Si Taai Gung himself, and for its importance, lets talk about it later, right?

A amizade que nasce entre alguns membros da Familia Kung Fu, surge em meio a crise, em meio a um soco que você levou, a um golpe que você acertou. Em meio a uma pratica que você não compreende, ou a uma missão que você não consegue cumprir, ou seja, crise.

THe friendship that borns in Kung Fu FAmily, rises in moments of crisis. When someone punches you, when you punch someone. Or, when you can not understand some practice or you can not complete a task , etc...  Crisis.

Esses laços se formam a cada geração, e quando eles são muito imaturos, você precisa do Si Fu para uni-los por você, mas na maioria das vezes, mesmo quando o Si Fu se vai, vocês permanecem unidos em torno de sua memória.

Those bonds are made in every generation, and when this bonds are two weak, you need your Si Fu to make it happen. But in some cases, even  when Si Fu is not more between the disciples, the bonds keep strong around his memory.

E quando você pratica com um senior da Familia Kung Fu, você volta a ser o novato..rs Você usa força, você sai da base, você dá uma roubadinha aqui outra ali, e é muito dificil não deixar isso acontecer.

Well, when you train with a senior , it is very difficult to nor change yourself in a child again. Using strengh, no horse, hiting outside the center-line , etc...

E pra quem só ia buscar o carro, foi mais uma tarde de aprendizagem. E essa é a mágica do Kung Fu, você simplesmente vivencia uma dezena de experiências, e com o passar do tempo, você consegue percebe-las melhor. Por isso talvez, para mim não tenha sido uma simples tarde.

And for me, that was just going pick my car, was a great opp'Cause when you get more and more time of Kung Fu , you start to be able to see what you can learn in any situation, so, I think that was not an ordinary afternoon for me .

Ontem o Mo Gun da Barra estava bem agitado, e como Si Fu teve que ir mais cedo, coube aos membros seniors como Vladimir Anchieta (canto direito) tomarem a frente. Algo que Si Fu sempre incentiva.

Yesterday, Si Fu had to go back to his home earlier , but that was not a problem 'cause the senior members took the runnin' wild night in their hands to make it happen. As we see in the right , Vladimir Anchieta who leaded the group trainning session last night.

Praticantes que estão começando, como Bruno, no canto esquerdo participaram. Vindo de outro Nucleo, Vinicius (centro) representou o Mo Gun do Méier mostrando que a Barra não fica em outro planeta, e vice-versa..rs

Rookies like Bruno(left) or members from antoher branches, attended for this trainning sessions yesterday. Vinicius (middle) , is from the Meier Mo Gun. Barra Mo Gun is in the West zone of our city, Meier is in the north. Even this way, Vinicius shows to his Si Hing-Dai from Meier that is not so far away!

Foi realizado um trabalho com o uso das pernas dividido em várias partes na prática em grupo desta Quinta-feira. Na foto vemos Dhyan Sander e Cristiano "The Goldman" Chaves fazendo uma das propostas de estudo daquela noite.

Ao final, um momento para zerar os animos, trocar conclusões e bater um papo sobre o que foi "Vivenciado" como bem disse Vladimir.

In the end, we had to get our emotional back to zero. Also we took that time to talk about our experiences during the practice. A very good moment to know each others feelings.

A partir de 21:10 h naquela mesma noite, os membros seniors que permaneceram no Mo Gun, fizeram um estudo das três primeiras partes do Muk Yan Jong. Foi muito interessante ver a quantidade de duvidas que surgiram sobre a sequencia e suas nuances, o que realmente fazia parte da sequência, o que estavamos fazendo só porque alguém disse pra fazer,etc...  Foi uma experiência bem rica para todos com certeza.

Starting at 21:10 h , the present senior members started to make a study about the 3 first parts of the Jong sequence. That was very interesting to see so much doubts, to realize what we have been doing was or was not in the sequence, etc...  I think everyone enjoyed a lot!

The Si Gung´s 49 years old birthday (O aniversário de 49 anos de SI Gung!)

Si Gung Leo Imamura completou 49 anos em comemoração em Brasilia, organizada pelos membros desse Nucleo que é dirigido por Si Baak Nataniel Rosa.

Dificil acreditar que passou tão rápido! Tomando a minha experiência,pois só posso falar dela, como parametro. Conheci
Si Gung numa Sexta em que tinha tirado 1,5 numa prova de Quimica no primeiro ano do ensino médio, e agora , 13 anos já se passaram.

Mas para nós do Clã Moy Yat Sang, liderado por ele, não precisamos nos preocupar. Pois algumas pessoas simplesmente parecem não envelhecer...

Si Gung Leo Imamura celebrated his 49 years old birthday in Brasilia, Brazil´s Capital, organized by members of the MYVT school in this city which is directed by Si Baak Nathaniel Rosa.

Hard to believe it went so fast! Taking my own experience, because I can only speak of it, as parameter. I knew Si Gung on a Friday in which I had taken a "F" in a  Chemistry test in my  first year of high school, and now, 13 years have passed.

But for us from Moy Yat Sang Clan, led by him, we need not worry. 'cause some people just do not seem to age ...

 Keanu Reeves por exemplo, está vivo desde 1875 e até hoje sua forma fisica não mudou...

Like Keanu Reeves that was born in 1875 and did not aged 'till now.

E Si Gung com seus 49 anos parece seguir no mesmo rumo!!!

E a pergunta que fica é: "Mas que bruxaria é essa?"

"He is a Higlander!!"

And with his 49 years old, Si Gung seems to have the same immortal power!

And the question is: "What Sorcery is this?"

Diferente de "João de Santo Cristo", Si Fu não "entrou no Planalto Central de ônibus", mas sim de avião. E nem foi com o intuito de "se tornar aprendiz de carpinteiro , cortar madeira e ganhar cem mil por mês em Tanguatinga". Ele estava lá para a celebração do aniversário de Si Gung Leo Imamura, e em seu retorno ao Rio, só tinha elogios para com Cícero, que aparece com ele na foto, e que segundo Si Fu em brincadeira, foi um excelente "Cicerone".rs

Si Fu arrived by plane in Brasilia one day before than the others masters and Si gung. He was welcomed by Cicero(photo) a practitioner that Si Fu said is a very gentle person. Si Fu talked a lot with him about Kung Fu and Cicero took him to know the city!

Cicero deu toda a assistência possível a Si fu que chegou um dia antes dos demais membros do Clã Moy yat Sang. Si Fu pôde conversar muito com ele sobre Kung Fu, bem como conhecer mais a nossa capital como nessa foto, onde vemos as obras para a Copa do Mundo.

Here , Cicero took Si fu by the avenue where you can see th World Cup Stadium being built.

Si Baak e Si Baak Mo(foto) receberam Si fu com muito carinho na própria Sexta, em momentos nos quais 

Si Fu pôde rever praticantes como Gabriel e conhecer outros como Shadi, que passou a Si fu, segundo ele mesmo, muitos conhecimentos sobre a cultura palestina.

Si Baak and Si Baak Mo also welcomed Si Fu in a very hearted way. So they spent very good moments on Fridays night. Si Fu could meet again old guys like Gabriel Brandao and also meet new ones like Shadi, who teach a lot of things about Palestine culture to Si fu, who was very impressed.

No dia seguinte, já no aeroporto, mais dois Mestres chegaram: Mestre Anderson Maia e Mestre Washington Fonseca. Respectivamente os diretores do Nucleo Savassi e Nucleo São Paulo da MYVT.

No mesmo dia, não só Si Gung , que contou com a presença de sua esposa,Si Taai Vanise, e seus pais, mas todos os Mestres presentes, compartilharam histórias de 

Vida Kung Fu com os presentes.

Segundo Si fu foram relatos muitos emocionantes.

In the same day, Si Gung with his wife, Si Taai Vanise, and his parents by his side, talked about Kung Fu Life moments, with the other Masters present. Si Fu said that was a very touching moment!

A noite, já durante a festa, Si Fu conta que Shadi ofereceu uma apresentação de Dança do Ventre que contou com todos os instrumentos referentes a dança como a espada que vemos na foto.

At night  , during the party already, the practitioner Shadi brought Belly Dance to the celebration as we see in the photo. Si fu said that they used all the tools of this kind of dance.
