Em 1973, quando estreou "Operação Dragão" nos cinemas do mundo todo. Pela primeira vez, grande parte do público tomava contato com as artes marciais chinesas,que ficaram conhecidas de forma genérica como "Kung Fu".
Bruce Lee gerou tendências com seus filmes que se incorporaram de tal forma no imaginário das pessoas, que hoje para muitos é difícil diferenciar o que vem dele e o que de fato é inerente as artes marciais. Como por exemplo, a roupa a ser usada durante a prática.
Nos filmes de Bruce Lee, ele eternizou uma vestimenta chinesa chamada "Tong Jong"(傏裝). Mas este tema você pode conhecer mais com o especial aqui do BLOG sobre roupas chinesas clicando abaixo:

In 1973, when "Enter the Dragon" was released in theaters worldwide. For the first time, much of the western public took contact with the Chinese martial arts, which became known generically as "Kung Fu".
Bruce Lee spawned trends with his films that incorporate such in the minds of people, that for many today it is difficult to differentiate what is from him and what is in fact inherent in the martial arts. Such as clothing to be used during practice.

Na foto acima, tirada há tanto tempo atrás na antiga residência da Si Sok Ines Barconnnot, vemos 3 modelos distintos de camisas da Moy Yat Ving Tsun:
Primeiro a do Cris "Goldman" Chaves, que está de cavanhaque no canto direito. Aquela camisa com gola pólo e a logo verde, foi o modelo que encontrei e usei quando comecei em 1999. Logo depois, a camisa mudou para o modelo que o saudoso Joel(o menor no canto direito da foto) está usando. Que tinha como única diferença a logo dourada.
Nesta mesma época, todos os tutores, ou seja, as pessoas responsáveis por coordenar sessões usavam uma camisa toda dourada como vemos Si Fu na foto...
Acontece que todas estas camisas tinham algo em comum: Eram uniformes...


In the photo above, taken so long ago in the former residence of Si Sok Ines Barconnnot we see 3 distinct models of shirts of Moy Yat Ving Tsun:
First Cris "Goldman" Chaves, the taller in the right corner. That polo shirt with collar and green logo, was the model I found and used when I started in 1999. Soon after, the shirt has changed for the model that t Joel (the lower in the  right corner of the picture) is using. Which had the only difference the golden logo.
Around the same time, all tutors, ie people responsible for coordinating all sessions used a gold shirt as seen in the photo Si Fu waering...
It turns out that all these shirts had something in common: They were uniforms ...

Nesta foto acima, de 2008 , Si Gung me observa fazendo a sequência do Muk Yan Jong. Ele está trajando uma camisa verde. Esta camisa começou a ser usada no Clã Moy Yat Sang em 2008, por iniciativa do Mestre Anderson Maia, diretor do Núcleo Belo Horizonte da Moy Yat Ving Tsun. Ela celebrava o aniversário de 20 anos deste Clã no Brasil. E a cor verde, era uma referência ao primeiro uniforme que a Moy Yat Ving Tsun estabeleceu quando chegou no Ocidente.

In this photo above,from 2008, Si Gung watches me doing the Muk Yan Jong sequence. He is wearing a green shirt. This shirt started to be used in Moy Yat Sang Clan in 2008, on the initiative of Master Anderson Maia , director of the MYVT Belo Horizonte School. It celebrated the 20th anniversary of this clan in Brazil. The green color was a reference to the first uniform that the Moy Yat Ving Tsun members used when the school arrived in the West.

Em 2009, o Clã Moy Yat foi a China para uma viagem a fim de percorrer locais históricos de nossa arte e de seus ancestrais. Então mais uma vez, Mestre Anderson Maia organizou a confecção das camisas especiais para este ano na cor vermelha, como vemos nessa foto da época eu e Mestre Felipe Soares usando.
As camisas perderam a carcterística de uniformes e se tornaram lembranças de marcos de nossa escola a cada ano.

In 2009, the Moy Yat Clan did a trip to China to run through our historic sites. So once again, Master Anderson Maia  organized the making of the special shirts for this year in red, as seen in this picture of the time where Master Felipe Soares and I were..
The shirts lost the characteristic of uniform and became mementos of our remarkable moments each year.

Finalmente em 2010, o modelo preto voltou e vinha com o bordado na manga fazendo referência aos 70 anos da líder mundial do Clã Moy Yat: Sra. Helen Moy. O modelo preto sofreu leves mudanças e a sua última versão é essa que vemos André Almeida(em primeiro plano) e Dani Eustáquio ao fundo, usarem durante atividade no Núcleo Méier.

Finally in 2010, the black model  came back with embroidery on the sleeve with reference to the 70 years old of the world's leader of Moy Yat Clan: Mrs. Helen Moy. 
The black model has undergone slight changes and its latest version is that we see André Almeida (foreground) and Dani Eustaquio in the background, use during activity at the MYVT Meier School.

A camisa de 2013/2014 é prateada com quase o mesmo design do que a preta. Ela conseguiu ser muito bonita, simples e elegante ao mesmo tempo! Eu particularmente adorei. E digo que não é incomum me achar na rua usando estas camisas em outras ocasiões, mesmo quando não estou no Mo Gun.

The shirt for 2013/2014 season is silver with almost the same design than the black one. It  is very beautiful, simple and elegant at the same time! I particularly enjoyed. And say it's not uncommon to find me on the street wearing these shirts at other times, even when I'm not in Mo Gun.

Rodrigo(foto) , assim como outros membros dos Mo Gun da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou aprovaram o novo design! Eu particularmente achei o melhor até agora! rs

Porém , uma particularidade de nossa Família Kung Fu é algo que Si Fu mesmo apontou há um tempo atrás, sobre o fato de que se estamos falando a respeito de uma transmissão personalizada do Kung Fu, na qual cada indíviduo terá não só seus objetivos, mas principalmente suas características preservadas durante as sessões. Não seria o uniforme um erro conceitual nesta equação?  Desta forma, os praticantes são livres para usarem a roupa que acharem mais confortável para sua prática. Mesmo porque, como também apontou Si Fu em outra oportunidade. A Cultura Chinesa não é "durinha", ela deixa tudo aparentemente "solto" para que a pessoa dentro do processo possa entender como se ajustar. Ou seja, qual roupa usar em determinada ocasião? Não porque alguém te orientou, mas sim, porque você percebeu...
Isso também é Kung Fu...
