Esta obra reune um total de 51 peças confeccionadas em pedra. A coleção encontra-se atualmente guardada em NY sob os cuidados da própria Familia de Si Taai Gung Moy Yat. A obra está em perfeito estado de conservação e estas peças encontram-se guardadas em quatro estojos diferentes.

This work brings together a total of 51 pieces made of stone. The collection is currently stored in New York under the care of  Si Taai Gung Moy Yat own family. The work is in perfect condition and these parts are stored in four different cases.

Em cada um destes estojos, encontra-se uma ficha com o título "The Story of Ving Tsun Kuen Kuit", que com esse titulo ja daria um belo seriado ou filme, mas trata-se de uma coletânea de perguntas  sobre a obra. E agora, aproveitem um pouco da entrevista:

In each case there is a info paper titled "The Story of Ving Tsun" ( that would be a great Tv Series!hehe) but is a collection of questions and answers about the author and his work. Read below a little bit of this content:

1- Quem foi o artista a fazer esta obra?

Resposta: Moy Yat, aliás "Moy Go Yan"* (*Moy Go Yan[Mei Gao Ren 梅高人] , era o nome artistico de Si Taai Gung)

2- Quem é Moy Yat?

Resposta: Moy Yat é o criador do Mey Tung Artists Association, Mestre de Kung Fu e autor de muitos livros.

3- O trabalho inteiro foi feito somente por ele?

Resposta: Não, ele recebeu assistência de Kwong Tse-Nam , um artista e "primo Kung Fu".

4- Quanto tempo ele levou para completar o trabalho?

Resposta: Demorou quatro anos para achar as pedras apropriadas para cada inscultura porque tamanho e cor tem um papel importante neste trabalho. A inscultura levou 2 anos de dedicação.

1 - Who was the artist to make this work?

Answer: Moy Yat, alias "Moy Yan Go" * (* Moy Go Yan [Mei Gao Ren 梅 高人], was the Moy Yat´s artistic name)

2 - Who is Moy Yat?

Answer: Moy Yat is the creator of  Mey Tung Artists Association,Kung Fu Master and author of several books.

3 - The whole work was only done by himself?

Answer: No, he received assistance from Kwong Tse-Nam, an artist and "Kung Fu cousin."

4 - How long it took to complete the work?

Answer: It took four years to find the appropriate stone to each of the carvings because size and color plays an important role in this work. The stone carvings took two years of dedication.

[Por isso o carimbo de  Wong Wah Bo que fica exposto em nosso Mo Gun, é do tipo  Bak Man (白文).]

[Thats why one of the seals in some MYVT schools , like this one, representing  Wong Wah Bo is a Bak Man(白文) type.]

Existem duas possibilidades de inscrição na base do carimbo (YAM MAN 印文) :

There are two possibilities for inscription on the seal´s base. (YAM MAN 印文) :

1) A primeira, chamamos de "escrita branca" chamada Bak Man (白文) , pois os ideogramas são insculpidos em baixo-relevo , que figuram na estampa com  a cor do suporte sobre o qual é aplicado, geralmente , a cor branca.

1)The first, called "white writing" called Bak Man (白文), because the character are sculptured in bas-relief, appearing in print with the color of the support on which it is applied, usually white.

[Como no caso do carimbo ancestral , também exposto em 

nosso Mo Gun, de Leung Laan Gwaai.]

[Now you know that seals like this one , representing Leung Laan  Gwaai,

 is a Chu Man(赤文) seal.]

2)Em Chu Man(赤文) , "Escrita Escarlate", vemos os ideogramas insculpidos no carimbo em alto-relevo. Desta forma, mostram eles a cor utilizada na aplicação, geralmente a vermelha. 

2)  In Chu Man(赤文) ,"red writing", we see the seal´s ideogram sculptured in high relief. Thus, they show the color used in the application, typically red.

[Aqui , Niklas Correia observa um "Bin Fun" (inscrição lateral), a qual será insculpida em posição normal , já que você neste caso, capta a informação na própria pedra. Este selo insculpido pelo Patriarca Moy Yat, é de nosso Si Fu Julio Camacho]

[Here, Niklas looks to a "bin fun" (side inscription) , which is written in a normal way, because in this case , you read the information right from the stone.This seal, carved by 

Patriarch Moy Yat, is ownedby  our Si Fu Julio Camacho ]

O uso inicial do carimbo servia apenas para identificação, conforme o tempo passou, o carimbo tornou-se um símbolo de autoridade, até que finalmente foi elevado ao símbolo de obra de arte.

Os carimbos como obras de arte, tiveram outros tipos de mensagens escritas em sua superfície além de nomes próprios.

Vamos então falar do tipo: Kei Nim Yan (紀年印): "Carimbo de Registro Cronológico" tomando o vídeo abaixo como exemplo.

The initial use of the seals was used only for identification, as time passed, the seal became a symbol of authority, until it was finally elevated to the symbol of the artwork.

Seals as works of art, had other types of messages written on its surface as well as names.

So let's talk about: Kei Nim Yan (纪年 印): "Cronological Seals" taking the video below as an example.
