MASTER JULIO CAMACHO WILL GO LIVE AGAIN ON YOUTUBE NEXT TUESDAY

 No início dos anos ´50 em Hong Kong, um então protetorado britânico, a Família Kung Fu recém formada e liderada pelo Patriarca Ip Man recebeu seu primeiro desafio. Patriarca Ip Man mais tarde se tornaria uma das pessoas mais conhecidas de todos os tempos no mundo das artes marciais chinesas por diferentes razões, sendo a mais recente delas, a franquia de filmes sobre a sua vida estrelando o ator chines Donnie Yen. Acontece que naqueles tempos em Hong Kong, ninguém sabia nada a seu respeito e nem da arte marcial chamada “Ving Tsun“, a qual ele era responsável pela salvaguarda. Com esse cenário, talvez fosse interessante que utilizasse do desafio para se autopromover, mas aos 56 anos de idade, ele decidiu indicar um de seus alunos mais próximos para representar o “Ving Tsun“ neste desafio. O “Ving Tsun“ saiu-se vitorioso, e Patriarca Ip Man provou um ponto importante: O grande mestre, não necessariamente precisa ser um grande lutador. Mais do que isso, a arte acabou por promover a si mesma, com esta e outras vitórias de alunos do Patriarca Ip Man. Desta maneira, o Ving Tsun passou a ser conhecido em toda a Hong Kong, e conforme os anos passavam, a maestria de Ip Man era apresentada mais profundamente, através da prominência e qualidade de seus descendentes no Clã Ving Tsun.  Dentre eles, Moy Yat.

In the early 1950s in Hong Kong, a then British protectorate, the newly formed Kung Fu Family, led by Patriarch Ip Man, received its first challenge. Patriarch Ip Man would later become one of the most well-known people of all time in the Chinese martial arts world for different reasons, the most recent being the film franchise about his life starring Chinese actor Donnie Yen. It turns out that in those days in Hong Kong, no one knew anything about him or even the martial art called "Ving Tsun", which he was responsible for safeguarding. With this scenario. it might be interesting that he used the challenge to promote himself, but at the age of 56, he decided to appoint one of his closest students to represent “Ving Tsun” in this challenge. The "Ving Tsun" came out victorious, and Patriarch Ip Man proved an important point: The great master does not necessarily need to be a great fighter. More than that, the art ended up promoting itself, with this and other victories of students of Patriarch Ip Man. In this way, Ving Tsun became known throughout Hong Kong, and as the years passed, the mastery of Ip Man was presented more deeply, through the prominence and quality of his descendants in the Ving Tsun Clan. Among them, Moy Yat.

Patriarca Moy Yat parece ter herdado de seu Mestre Ip Man, o gosto pela discrição. Pois em 1988, durante o evento chamado “All Kung Fu Masters“ , os repórteres de revistas especializadas presentes pareciam não entender a comoção dos presentes quando Patriarca Moy Yat adentrou o recinto. Pois residindo nos EUA desde 1973, o discípulo de Patriarca Ip Man, abriu mão dos holofotes para dedicar-se ao amadurecimento de sua Família Kung Fu. 

Patriarch Moy Yat seems to have inherited from his Master Ip Man, the taste for discretion. For in 1988, during the event called “All Kung Fu Masters“, the reporters of specialized magazines present seemed not to understand the commotion of those present when Patriarch Moy Yat entered the room. For residing in the USA since 1973, the disciple of Patriarch Ip Man, gave up the spotlight to dedicate himself to the maturation of his Kung Fu Family.
