A NEW DISCIPLE IN MOY FAT LEI KUNG FU FAMILY

 

De um jeito muito peculiar, a vida foi se ajustando naturalmente para que no último Sábado houvesse o convite para discipulado de Dimitri Andrade, durante um café da manhã muito acolhedor organizado pelo próprio e seu “Gai Siu Yan“[apresentador formal] Matheus Alves. 

O processo chamado de “Baai Si“ foi proposto em novas etapas pelo meu Mestre Julio Camacho, sendo a primeira delas o que chamamos de “Convite Formal“.

O convite formal é um momento em que o próprio aspirante a membro vitalício de uma Família Kung Fu, organiza uma refeição em algum local de sua escolha sob uma “Perspectiva Kung Fu“, para que o convite ocorra. Para que haja esse processo envolvendo o desenvolvimento do “Kung fu“, a figura do “ Gai Siu Yan“ é fundamental. Pois este será o responsável não só por apresentar formalmente o praticante ao Si Fu e a Família Kung Fu, como também é aquele praticante mais antigo com que este candidato poderá se sentir mais confortável para contar em seus primeiros momentos após ser admitido na Família Kung Fu.

Matheus Alves é um membro vitalício de minha Família Kung Fu. Um jovem que chegou no Mo Gun pela primeira vez com seus dois melhores amigos e com camisas com motivos de jogos de video game e outros personagens. Matheus dedicou-se com afinco nos últimos três anos ao processo de transmissão tendo um papel cada vez mais relevante dentro de nossa Família Kung Fu. Por conta disso, seu contato com Dimitri se deu naturalmente e ele acabou escolhendo Matheus como seu “Gai Siu Yan“. 

Pude almoçar com Matheus uma semana antes do convite e no final da manhã em que o convite ocorreu. Olhando para Matheus tão jovem assumindo uma posição de relevância em diferentes níveis, me faz pensar na importância de nos dedicarmos com afinco ao que nos propomos a fazer. Afinal, podemos estar dando o exemplo a alguém, sem que ao menos saibamos. 

Matheus Alves is a lifelong member of my Kung Fu Family. A young man who arrived at Mo Gun for the first time with his two best friends and in shirts with motifs from video games and other characters. Matheus has dedicated himself to the transmission process over the last three years, playing an increasingly important role within our Kung Fu Family. Because of this, his contact with Dimitri came naturally and he ended up choosing Matheus as his “Gai Siu Yan“.

I was able to have lunch with Matheus a week before the invitation and at the end of the morning when the invitation occurred. Looking at Matheus so young taking on a relevant position at different levels, it makes me think of the importance of dedicating ourselves to what we set out to do. After all, we may be setting an example for someone, without even knowing it.
