MASTER JULIO CAMACHO'S 50 YEARS : PART 4 OF 5 (A birthdays story)

O primeira aniversário de meu Si Gung Leo Imamura em que estive presente, foi em 2002. Um ônibus foi utilizado para levar os membros do Núcleo Jacarepaguá até São Paulo. Naqueles tempos longínquos, passei grande parte do tempo com o Thiago Gaspary. No ano seguinte, fomos em maior número ainda para Atibaia, mas confesso que apesar do Si Gung estar completando seus quarenta anos. Minha motivação primeira, era a Titulação de Mestre Classe Qualificado de meu Si Fu, que se deu na mesma ocasião. Finalmente em 2004, quando o aniversário de Si Gung ocorreu no Rio de Janeiro num restaurante chamado República Gourmet. Estive presente para prestigiar o evento. Naquela noite, dignatários de nosso Grande Clã como : Mestre Felipe Soares, Mestre Diego Guadelupe, Nandinha, dentre outros... Fizeram seu "Baai Si". E apesar de ter entrado na Família em 1999, ainda me era muito difícil conectar com este tipo de evento. Para mim, nada que não fosse a parte técnica, parecia fazer muito sentido.

The first b-day celebration of my Si Gung Leo Imamura I was in, was in 2002. A bus was used to take the members of Jacarepaguá School(In Rio de Janeiro State) to São Paulo city (State of Sao Paulo). In those distant times, I spent most of my time with Thiago Gaspary. The following year, we went even further to Atibaia(Countryside of Sao Paulo State), but I confess that despite Si Gung being celebrating his 40th b-day.. My first motivation was my Si Fu being Qualified  as a Master. . Finally in 2004, when Si Gung's birthday took place in Rio de Janeiro at a restaurant called República Gourmet. I was present to attend the event. That night, dignitaries of our Grand Clan such as: Master Felipe Soares, Master Diego Guadelupe, Nandinha, among others ... Made their "Baai Si". And although I joined the Family in 1999, it was still very difficult for me to connect with this kind of celebration. To me, nothing but the techniques seemed to make much sense.

Conforme os anos foram passando, passei a entender a importância de momentos assim. E iniciei minha trajetória acompanhando meu Si Fu, principalmente nos anos 2010, às celebrações de aniversários do Si Gung, onde quer que fossem.

As the years went by, I came to understand the importance of such moments. And I began my career accompanying my Si Fu, especially in the 2010s, to Si Gung's birthday celebrations, wherever Si Fu went.

Então muitos anos depois, quando meu Si Fu completou seus cinquenta anos. Tive a felicidade de me ver acompanhado pelos meus próprios To Dai. Apenas isso já seria emblemático o suficiente. Mas algo especial aconteceu: Em 2017, nenhum deles esteve presente no aniversário de seu Si Gung, em 2018, precisei falar da importância de prestigiarem um momento assim (Como me disseram no passado). E finalmente este ano, não precisei fazer movimento algum pois eles mesmos se apresentaram.

So many years later, when my Si Fu turned fifty. I was fortunate to see myself accompanied by my own To Dai. That alone would be emblematic enough. But something special happened: In 2017, none of them were present on the birthday of their Si Gung, in 2018, I needed to talk about the importance of attending such a moment (As I was told in the past). And finally this year, I didn't have to make any move because they introduced themselves to follow me.

E em meio a todos aqueles acontecimentos que se sucederam na noite do último dia 07 de Dezembro. Foi bem emocionante ver as novas gerações surgirem e me perceber como parte de uma história ininterrupta.

And in the midst of all those events that happened on the night of last December 7th. It was very exciting to see the new generations come and see me as part of an unbroken history.
