No Brasil quando uma criança tem uma determinada atitude, pode ser que seus pais ou parentes digam: "Esse daí vai ser médico!" ou "Ihh! Esse daí vai ser jogador de futebol!"...  Na pior das hipóteses, alguém pode dizer: "Esse aí vai ser de briga! É capaz de ser lutador!" ... Mas eu garanto: Ninguém diz: "Esse aí vai ser Si Fu!"...
Meu Si Fu, Julio Camacho, vem percorrendo este caminho do Ving Tsun por 24 anos! 24 anos é a idade que o diretor do Núcleo Barra, André Almeida, tem hoje , so para se ter uma ideia!
E nesta data, de forma singela, vamos celebrar o filho da Vera, primo da Ursula, pai da Jade e da Julia... Si Fu.

When a child displays a particular behavior, their parents or relatives might say, "That one will be a doctor!" or "Ihh! That one will be a soccer player!" ... worst case scenario, someone might say: " That one is feisty! He may well become a fighter" ... But I can guarantee no one says, "That one will be a Si Fu!" ...
My Si Fu, Julio Camacho, has been following the Ving Tsun path for 24 years! Barra Branch manager André Almeida is precisely 24 years old, so that we can grasp what that means!
Today we plainly celebrate Vera's son, Ursula's cousin, Jade and Julia's dad ... Si Fu.

Si Fu poderia ser muitas coisas em sua vida, não tenho dúvidas disso! Porém, quem escreve isso não é um aluno maravilhado com seu Mestre. Mas uma testemunha ocular de diversos momentos nos quais , nesses anos em que o acompanho, pude presenciar suas conquistas e sua capacidade de se reinventar e de contornar situações que para qualquer outra pessoa, seriam impossíveis. E nas vezes em que esse contorno demorou mais do que o normal Si Fu apenas disse: "Nesse momento é como se eu fosse um general que foi atingido por uma flecha, vou precisar me recolher até me recuperar. Até lá, é importante que vocês, os oficiais, tomem a frente." .

Si Fu could have become many things in life, I have no doubt! This is not an statement from a student amazed by his Master. Instead, it comes from a long-term eyewitness of his achievements, his ability to reinvent himself, and his skills to deal with situations anyone else would think as having no way out. And when the outcome took longer than usual Si Fu would just say: "Right now it's as if I were a general who was hit by an arrow, I need to step out until I pull myself together. Meanwhile, it is important that you officers take the lead. " .

Quando comecei no Ving Tsun, Si Fu costumava demonstrar mais sua destreza técnica. Certa vez perguntei a ele quando iríamos aprender a usar "Nunchakus". Eu estava no Siu Nim Tau. Si Fu sentado em sua cadeira cercado por outros praticantes sorriu e perguntou:
-Você quer aprender nunchaku? Te ensino agora! Pega lá! - Si Fu apontou para o boneco de madeira.
Eu olhei sem entender e ele confirmou dizendo: "Pega dois braços e me dá." - Ao entregar dois dos três braços do Muk Yan Jong a ele, ele os segurou e pediu que eu ficasse em guarda. Assim que fiquei em guarde ele bateu com um deles em minha mão. (risos)... Enquanto a sacudi por conta da dor, ele levantou-se e bateu na minha outra mão e assim por diante até que rindo eu me afastasse o suficiente. Ele então me entregando os braços perguntou: "Viu? Esse é nosso nunchaku!" - Eu tentei me manter sério e disse: "Mas isso não é um nunchaku!" - Si Fu voltando a se sentar disse: "Claro que é! O nosso não tem correntes!" - Todos riram.
Com o passar dos anos porém, se tornava mais raro ver Si Fu demonstrar uma técnica ou brincar dessa forma. Por outro lado, ele sempre nos deixou conhecer alguns de seus superpoderes: Acreditar em si mesmo, Acreditar no outro, Inovação, Inventividade, Desbravamento e muitas outros, com destaque para seu atributo "carisma" que é +99.

Si Fu used to show his technical skills more often when I was still a beginner in Ving Tsun. I remember I asked him once when we would learn to use "Nunchaku". I was in Siu Nim Tau. Si Fu, sat in his chair and surrounded by other practitioners, smiled and said:
-So you want to learn nunchaku? I'll teach you right now! Go get it! - Si Fu pointed to the wooden dummy.
I was at a loss and he confirmed saying. "Take two arms and bring them to me" - I handed him two of the three arms of the Muk Yan Jong, he took them and told me to stay on guard. As soon as I did so he hit my hand with one of the wooden arms  (Laughs) ... While I was shaking it in pain, he got up and knocked on my other hand and so on until I, still laughing, got out of reach. He then handed me the wooden arms saying: "See? This is our nunchaku!" - I tried to keep serious and said, "But this is not a nunchaku!" - Si Fu, back to his chair, said: "Of course it is ! Ours has no chains!" - Everyone laughed.
Over the years, however, we would see Si Fu show a technique or play that way less and less often. On the other hand, he would always let us learn about some of his superpowers: believing in himself, believing in other persons, innovating, ingenuity, clearing, and many others, most of all his attribute "charisma" which is +99.

Para cada brincadeira, para cada conversa, para cada comunicado, para cada almoço, para cada jantar, para cada vez que simplesmente enchemos seu saco e o prendemos no Mo Gun, Si Fu deixou de estar com suas filhas, atrasou projetos para dar a oportunidade que o acompanhássemos neles. Talvez esse seja seu maior poder: Sua capacidade de se doar. Você não vai encontrar Si Fu com sono ou desmotivado... E mesmo quando ele parece irritado e suas sobrancelhas formam uma única linha e ficam retas e uma sombra cobre sua face enquanto ele te olha profundamente. Seu único desejo é que você pare de choramingar e tente enxergar um caminho que ele já viu mas que pacientemente te espera perceber: "As vezes não é o momento" - Diria ele nestes casos em várias oportunidades...

For each joke, for each talk, for each release, for each lunch, for each dinner, for each time we simply tried to annoy him, or locked him in the Mo Gun, Si Fu was giving up being with his daughters, delaying projects to give us a chance to keep up with him. This may well be his greatest power: his ability to give. You will not find Si Fu sleepy or unmotivated... and even when he seems angry, with his eyebrows becoming a single straight line, and a shadow covering his face as he looks deeply at you, his only wish is that you stop whining and try to see a path he has already seen but patiently awaits until you realize: "Sometimes it's not the time" - he would often say in cases like these...

"Pereira, o sonho de todo Si Fu, é que um dia a Família Kung Fu esteja toda bem ao mesmo tempo!" - Si Fu comentou em várias oportunidades comigo esse seu pensamento. Em português, falamos "Mestre" para quem tem o título de Si Fu. E usamos seu equivalente em italiano "Maestro" para alguém que conduz uma orquestra. Os dois casos, podem muito bem ilustrar os 24 anos de Si Fu nesse caminho: Um Mestre e Maestro orquestrando os vários momentos da vida, das filhas, da Família Kung Fu e parando cuidadosamente para esperar alguém que "arrebentou sua corda", recolocar para se juntar novamente a sua sinfonia.

"Pereira, every Si Fu's dream is that one day all the Kung Fu Family is well at the same time!" - Si Fu shared this thought of his on many occasions. In Portuguese, we say "Master" for those who bear a Si Fu title. And we use the equivalent word in Italian "Maestro" for an orchestra conductor. Both cases may well picture Si Fu in this 24-year journey: A Master and Maestro conducting various moments of his life, his daughters', his Kung Fu family's and carefully stopping to wait for someone who "broke their intrument string" put it back together in order to join his symphony again.

 Hoje, simplesmente é impossível imaginar como seria a vida sem o Si Fu. Ainda que muitas vezes tenhamos concordado e discordado, sua influência em minha história é inquestionável. E hoje, me pego pensando nisso: Como deve ser , saber que em 24 anos você influenciou, influencia e ainda vai influenciar a vida de muitas pessoas?Seja numa palavra, num gesto, num sorriso ou até mesmo numa bronca? E quanto deve ser solitária, a espera por todos que estão longe mas não conseguem se aproximar, e dos que estão perto, mas cismam em permanecer distantes?
Esse também é o Si Fu: Um andarilho no Caminho do Ving Tsun que acredita em você mais do que você mesmo e com +99 de carisma.

Imagining how life would be without Si Fu has become simply impossible over time. Although we have as often agreed or disagreed, his influence on my history is unquestionable. And today I find myself thinking about it: How is it to be someone who has had influence in so many people's lives for 24 years, and who will go on having influence in the lives of many more? Either with a word, a gesture, a smile or even a scolding? And how lonely it must be, waiting for all who are still afar and unable to get close, and those who are already close but choose to get out?
This is also the Si Fu: A wanderer in the Ving Tsun path who believes in you more than yourself and has charisma of +99.
