THREE NEW DISCIPLES IN MOY FAT LEI FAMILY.

(Uau! Já estamos na quarta cerimônia de discipulado

 da Família Moy Fat Lei!Passa rápido, certo?)

Si Fu e Si Mo gentilmente aceitaram comparecer  a IV Cerimônia de Discipulado da minha Família Kung Fu. Naquela manhã, em nossa Casa-Kung Fu, três novos membros vitalícios seriam aceitos na Família Moy Fat Lei: Thalles Cunha, Wellington Souza e Veronica Paiva.

Si Fu and Si Mo kindly agreed to attend the IV Discipleship Ceremony of my Kung Fu Family. That morning at our Kung Fu House, three new special students(Disciples) would be accepted into the Moy Fat Lei Family: Thalles Cunha, Wellington Souza, and Veronica Paiva.

Para que a Cerimônia pudesse ser realizada, houve anteriormente à ela, uma reunião de pré-evento. Nela, coordenada pelo discípulo número 3 Keith Markus, foram levantados todos os pontos necessários para que dali a uma semana tudo pudesse acontecer.

In order for the Ceremony to be held, there was a pre-event meeting prior to it. In it, coordinated by disciple number 3 Keith Markus, all the necessary points were raised so that within a week everything could happen.

Foi necessária uma pequena reforma em nosso Mo Gun. Membros que não estavam diretamente ligados à Cerimônia, mas que fazem parte da Família como Rafa(foto a dir), participaram deste processo. Matheus(foto a esq.) que foi Gaai Siu Yan (Apresentador) de Wellington Souza, foi um dos titulares desta reforma.

A minor overhaul was required on our Mo Gun. Members who were not directly linked to the Ceremony but who are part of the Family like Rafa (in the right) participated in this process. Matheus (in the left) who was Gaai Siu Yan (Introducer) for Wellington Souza, was one of the responsables of this reform.

Nesse tipo de momento que é a reforma de um Mo Gun. É muito comum que se apresentem novas lideranças e praticantes que dão muita diferença. Thiago(foto), foi um desses praticantes que se destacaram durante as reformas, e assim convidado para ser admitido na Família Kung Fu.

In that kind of moment that is the reform of a Mo Gun. It is very common to introduce new leaders and practitioners that make a lot of difference. Thiago ( photo) was one of those practitioners who stood out during the reform, and was thus invited to be admitted to the Kung Fu Family.

O clima estava bem leve naquela manhã de Sábado. Havia deixado todos cuidando do Mo Gun e fui buscar Si Fu e Si Mo. Ao chegarmos, aguardamos por uns momentos na recepção/escritório, enquanto os últimos detalhes da Cerimônia eram preparados.

The ambience was very light that Saturday morning. I had left everyone taking care of the Mo Gun and went to get Si Fu and Si Mo. When we arrived, we waited for a moment at the reception / office while the last details of the Ceremony were prepared.

Thalles Cunha foi o primeiro a ser apresentado naquela manhã para realizar o "Baai Si" por seu apresentador Keith Markus(foto). Thalles que é membro do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro assim como seu apresentador. Se emocionou muito durante sua apresentação.
Thalles e sua esposa, que também estava presente, estavam prestes a ter o nascimento de sua primeira filha, que se daria no dia seguinte à Cerimônia.

Thalles Cunha was the first to be presented that morning to perform the "Baai Si" by his presenter Keith Markus (photo). Thalles who is a member of the Rio de Janeiro State Military Fire Department as well as his "Gaai Siu Yan". He was very moved during his presentation.
Thalles and his wife, who was also present, were about to have the birth of their first daughter, the day after the Ceremony.

Si Fu e Si Mo abrilhantaram a Cerimônia a cada momento, não só por sua presença, mas principalmente por suas palavras tão assertivas e personalizadas. Ao ponto de parecer que conheciam os novos discípulos desde muito tempo.

Si Fu and Si Mo brightened the Ceremony at every moment, not only for their presence, but especially for their assertive and personalized words. To the point of seeming to have known the new disciples for a long time.

Cada discípulo que chega, é uma história diferente que começa a ser escrita a partir dali. Aceitar beber o chá, é uma responsabilidade muito grande. Você está lidando com os sonhos e as esperanças de alguém. Por isso, esse chá que se bebe quando se aceita um discípulo, parece ter um sabor diferente.

Each disciple who arrives is a different story that begins to be written from there. Accepting to drink tea is a very big responsibility. You are dealing with someone's dreams and hopes. So this tea that you drink when you accept a disciple seems to have a different flavor.

Depois de Thalles, foi a vez de Wellington Souza ser apresentado por Matheus. Ele começou a praticar recentemente e de forma muito determinada, soube aproveitar o momento da Família Moy Fat Lei e se inserir nela e na relação Si Fu-To Dai de maneira muito sincera e intensa.

After Thalles, it was Wellington Souza's turn to be introduced by Matheus. He began to practice very recently and in a very determined way, he knew how to take advantage of the moment of the Moy Fat Lei Family and to insert himself in it and in the Si Fu-To Dai relationship very sincerely and intensely.

 A última pessoa a realizar a Cerimônia naquela manhã, foi Veronica Paiva. Ela é esposa de Wellington e foi quem achou o Núcleo Méier no Google . Aos poucos, foi encontrando seu próprio espaço na Família Moy Fat Lei e na relação "Si Fu-To Dai", e deixando sua própria marca.
Por falar em "marca", uma das marcas registradas de Veronica, é a emoção com a qual ela expressa sua felicidade em fazer parte da Família Kung Fu.

The last person to perform the Ceremony that morning was Veronica Paiva. She is Wellington's wife and was the one who found the MYVT Meier School on Google. Gradually, she found her own space in the Moy Fat Lei Family and in the "Si Fu-To Dai" relationship, and left her own mark.
Speaking of "mark," one of Veronica's trademarks, is the emotion with which she expresses her happiness in being part of the Kung Fu Family.

A presença de Si Fu nas Cerimônias de minha Família é algo muito especial de fato. As Casas-Kung Fu das Famílias as quais lideramos, ficam em Zonas diferentes da cidade do Rio. Na hora do rush, essa distância pode ser expressada em até 2h de trajeto. Por isso, de certa forma ter o Si Fu atravessando gentilmente a cidade para dentre tantas coisas, assinar o trabalho que está sendo feito com a sua presença, é algo muito especial. E claro, isso se extende à Si Mo.

The presence of Si Fu in my Family Ceremonies is very special indeed. The Kung Fu Houses of the Families we lead are located in different areas of the city of Rio. At rush hour, this distance can be expressed within 2 hours. So, in a way, having Si Fu gently crossing the city , signing the work that is being done with his presence is very special. Of course, this extends to Si Mo.

Ao final, já conduzindo Si Fu e Si Mo para casa, Si Fu disse que sentiu "...A Família bem mais leve..." . Perguntei o que ele queria dizer e ele apenas repetiu que sentiu o clima mais leve. Fiquei refletindo muito sobre isso, e fiquei satisfeito com essa afirmação.
Ao longo dos anos como profissional, percebo que quando nos deparamos com algum desafio na condução de um trabalho relacionado ao Ving Tsun e sua transmissão. Tendemos a recorrer à algo que nos é familiar. Talvez por isso, se você é bom com as palavras, a aula que você dá seja possível ouvir você falar tanto. Por outro lado, se você tem um domínio da técnica, você pode não perceber que aquilo que para você é fácil, para o outro pode não estar sendo, e um pouco de didatismo não faria mal.
No meu caso, recorro muito ao protocolo, a formalidade, etc... presente nas coisas. Isso talvez tenha sido pesado demais no início da Família.

In the end, already driving Si Fu and Si Mo home, Si Fu said he felt "... The Family's energy is lighter ...". I asked him what he meant and he just repeated that he felt that. I was thinking a lot about it, and was pleased with that statement.
Over the years as a professional, I realize that when one faces with some challenge in conducting work related to Ving Tsun and its transmission. We tend to resort to something familiar to us. Perhaps that is why if you are good with words,when you teachs, you talk so much. On the other hand, if you have a mastery of technique, you may not realize that what is easy for you may not be for the other, and a little didacticism would not hurt.
In my case, I use protocol a lot, formality, etc ... present in things. This may have been too heavy at the beginning of the Family.
