Ainda posso me lembrar, numa noite qualquer no estacionamento do condomínio Blue Sky no bairro da Barra da Tijuca, onde o Mo Gun da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou foi localizado em duas etapas diferentes. De uma conversa rápida entre eu e Si Fu, com a presença de Si Suk Homero.
Si Fu disse: “Pereira, você sabia que você é um milagre? “ – Eu me espantei com a frase, mas ao perceber que Si Suk Homero estava rindo, percebi que vinha alguma brincadeira por parte de Si Fu: “Você era um cara chato demais! E ainda assim você tá aqui até hoje! E ainda é diretor do Núcleo Méier! “- Si Suk Homero caiu na gargalhada e Si Fu rindo concluiu: “Então! Isso é um milagre!Você é um milagre”

I can still remember one night in the parking lot of the Blue Sky condominium in Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, where the Mo Gun of the Moy Jo Lei Ou Family was located in two different stages. From a quick conversation between me and Si Fu, with the presence of Si Suk Homero.

Maria Alice começou a praticar no IMC , que é o Programa de “Inteligência Marcial para Crianças”. À época, chamada de “Siu Ye Kuen”. A jovem Alice , tinha nove aninhos, e suas práticas eram coordenadas pelo Daai Si Hing Leonardo Reis e pela Si Suk Nandinha Neves.

Minhas memórias mais antigas da Maria Alice, são dela com uma franja só de um lado , caída em cima de um dos seus olhos. Ela parecia meio tímida, mas durante a prática acredito que se divertia.
Certa vez, organizei um evento das turmas infantis da antiga Unidade Méier e do Núcleo Barra.
Com a ajuda de meus inseparáveis irmãos: Carlos Antunes e Thiago Silva. Preparamos na noite anterior uma longa mesa e o almoço seria pedido no China In Box.

My earliest memories of Maria Alice, are of her with a hair fringe on one side only, falling over one of her eyes. She seemed a bit shy, but during practice I think she had fun.
I once organized an event for the children's groups of the former Méier Studio and the Barra School.
With the help of my inseparable brothers: Carlos Antunes and Thiago Silva. We prepared a long table the night before and lunch was ordered at China In Box restaurant.

Na verdade, tem um filme que gosto muito chamado “Hook – A volta do Capitão Gancho”(1992). Nele, tem uma cena onde Robin Williams, que interpreta Peter Pan já crescido e precisa se lembrar de como usar a imaginação para salvar seus filhos. Janta numa mesa assim mesmo, com os “Garotos Perdidos”. Tomando isso por base, achei que seria uma boa ideia juntar as crianças assim com Si Fu.

Então, o primeiro momento emblemático da Alice, foi quando ela começou a comer antes de todo mundo. Si Fu chamou sua atenção e ela acabou se emocionando. Ao lavar o rosto, risos, molhou a camisa verde na pia. Então você pode vê-la na foto oficial daquele dia, com a tal franja e a camisa molhada (risos).

So Alice's first iconic moment was when she started eating before everyone else. Si Fu caught her eye and she was thrilled. As she washed her face, she wet her green shirt in the sink. So you can see it in the official photo of that day, with that hair fringe and wet shirt (laughs).

Diferente de mim, que também comecei cedo. Alice reapareceu para mim na Família em 2013 , quando foi admitida na Família Kung Fu, aparentando estar mais madura. Ela não passava a ideia , de ser alguém que um dia Si Fu dissesse que era um “Milagre” (risos). Mas sim, alguém que contribuiria de maneira ímpar, para o legado de nossa Família.

Unlike me, I also started at an early.age Alice reappeared for me in the Family in 2013, when she was admitted to the Kung Fu Family, pretending to be more mature. She did not pass the idea, of being someone who one day Si Fu would say was a "Miracle" (laughs). But yes, someone who would contribute in a unique way, to the legacy of our Family.

Em meados desta década, almoçando com a Família Kung Fu no PF Chang´s. Ouvi de Alice uma verdadeira aula sobre oriente médio, e dos costumes daquela região. Honestamente, não lembrava da Alice falando tanto. E naquele momento, achei que ela fosse alguma especialista no assunto. Posso dizer que saí dali sabendo mais do que imaginava.
Si Fu havia perguntado alguma coisa a respeito do tema, e ela simplesmente deu um show. Algo que ele mesmo, na volta para casa, fez questão de destacar conversando comigo e o Si Hing Cledimilson.
Acontece que Alice não era especialista naquele assunto. Ela pareceu, para mim a partir dali. Uma especialista em qualquer assunto que se apresentasse. Inclusive, “Cultura Clássica Chinesa”.
Muita gente parece se impressionar com minha memória. Este dever ser um sentimento parecido , com o que tenho pela inteligência da Alice.

In the middle of this decade, having lunch with the Kung Fu Family at PF Chang's. I heard from Alice a real lesson about the Middle East issues, and the customs of that region. Honestly, I did not remember Alice talking so much. And at that moment, I thought she was some expert on the subject. I can say that I left there knowing more than I imagined.
Si Fu had asked about the subject, and she simply gave a show. Something that he himself, when he returned home, made a point of emphasizing talking with me and Si Hing Cledimilson.
As it turned out, Alice was no expert on that subject. She looked, to me from there. An expert on any subject she could talk. Including, "Chinese Classical Culture". A lot of people seem to be impressed by my memory. This should be a similar feeling, with what I have for Alice's intelligence.

Mais tarde, descobri que Alice se interessava por moda. E então comecei a reparar como ela combinava de um jeito super legal seus cortes de cabelo com roupas em tons de preto. Às vezes, Alice parecia a personagem “Rachel”, saída do filme “Blade Runner”. Em outras, parecia que poderia estrelar a qualquer momento um remake de “Who´s that Girl” (1987). Lamentei quando o corte de cabelo parecido com a da personagem de “Ghost in The Shell”(2017) não ficou de seu agrado e ela desistiu. Mas de fato, realmente me impressionava a eloquencia e inteligência dela unidos com sua visão de mundo.

Later, I discovered that Alice was interested in fashion. And then I began to notice how she combined her haircuts with black clothes in a super cool way. Sometimes Alice looked like the character "Rachel", out of the movie "Blade Runner". In others, she seemed that she could star at any time a remake of "Who's That Girl" (1987). I regretted when the haircut similar to that of the character from "Ghost in the Shell" (2017) was not to her liking and she gave up. But in fact, I was really struck by her eloquence and intelligence, united with her worldview.

Tempos depois, começou a surgir o Núcleo Ipanema. Fiquei muito feliz pela Alice, quando descobri que ela seria a pessoa que conduziria também, o trabalho naquele local.
Engraçado, que quando penso na Alice, tenho a tendência a pensar em mim mais novo. Eu não acreditava, que tinha condições de estar à frente da Unidade Méier que virou Núcleo. Da mesma forma, Alice parece não ter a noção real de seu potencial. Porém, Si Fu certa vez disse para mim no dia mais difícil que já vivi até hoje e que me fez perder a fome: “Pereira, levanta e pega um prato para você.” – Orientou ele para que eu comesse algo. – “Não quero Si Fu. Tô sem fome.” –Respondi.  Si Fu segurou os talheres e me olhou sério. Si Suk Ursula voltou a comer. Ele então repetiu: “Pereira, por favor: Levanta e pega comida pra você.” – Levantei e peguei comida. Ao voltar , ele disse: “Eu tava falando com a Ursula que você tem isso de bom: Mesmo num momento como esse, você me ouve. Enquanto você me ouvir, vai ficar tudo bem.”

However, Si Fu once said to me on the most difficult day I've ever lived until today and that made me lose my hunger: "Pereira, get up and get a meal for you." - He directed me to eat something. - "I do not want Si Fu. I'm not hungry. "- I replied. Si Fu held the cutlery and looked at me seriously. Si Suk Ursula went back to eating. He then repeated: "Pereira, please: Get up and get food for you."-  I got up and got some food. When I returned, he said, "I was talking to Ursula that you got this good characteristic: Even at a time like this, you hear me. As long as you listen to me, it's going to be okay. "

Mas de todas essas histórias, sem dúvidas em Agosto deste ano tivemos nosso grande momento: Após visitarmos um local numa manhã de Sexta para ver se servia para celebrar o aniversário de Si Fu em Dezembro. Já sozinhos, Alice falou abertamente sobre nossa relação, sobre a maneira que percebia meu papel na Família. E eu pude apenas sorrir, com a constatação da perspicacia de sempre dela. Sua assertividade em tudo o que dizia , bem como , sua honestidade. Me tocaram profundamente.
Pegamos o metrô juntos, e me vendo ao lado dela pensei: “Poxa, a Alice realmente é minha irmã mais nova!” – Sendo assim, resolvi fazer uso de uma técnica secreta , passada por Si Gung em 2001 numa palestra em Niterói: “O homem que é inteligente, não tem amigos homens. Ele faz amizade com mulheres. Assim ele entende a cabeça feminina com mais facilidade. Nós somos muito burros, se permanecermos apenas entre homens, a burrice só vai aumentar.”
Ficamos juntos lendo a letra da música “Whutering Heights” da Kate Bush , e Alice interpretou toda a letra da música pra mim de um jeito que me fez cair na gargalhada de tão impressionado que fiquei com o quanto ela sabia.
Foi uma manhã inesquecível com minha irmã mais nova.

Her assertiveness in everything she said, as well as her honesty. They touched me deeply.
We took the subway together, and looking at her side I thought, "Well, Alice really is my little sister!" - So I decided to use a secret technique, passed by Si Gung in 2001 at a lecture in Niterói:" The man who is intelligent, does not have male friends. We sat together reading the lyrics of Kate Bush's "Whutering Heights," and Alice interpreted the lyrics to me in a way that made me burst into laughter so impressed I was left with how much she knew.
It was an unforgettable morning with my little sister.

Alice agora acessa o Domínio para "pessoas adultas", chamado "Biu Ji". Ela tem uma "Sidequest" importante comum à todos os praticantes que iniciam seu processo muito jovens como eu e ela: Lembrar às pessoas que se tornaram adultos e de que não são mais crianças

. No meu caso: Bati, apanhei, ameacei, coagi , briguei, me chateei , etc... Só para mostrar que havia crescido. Como Alice é mais inteligente do que eu, risos, ela encontrará um caminho mais fácil , sem dúvidas.. risos.

Eu gosto muito da Alice. Talvez por achar de alguma forma nossas histórias muito parecidas, talvez porque tenha cismado que ela parece com minha personagem preferida do cinema que é a Rachel de "Blade Runner" (1982). Ou simplesmente porque acho ela especial. 

De toda forma, ouvi de Si Gung na minha titulação, da importância dessa minha característica de criança para o sucesso da minha jornada e para ter chegado até ali. - "...Lembre-se Thiago: Os sábios chineses que escreveram os grandes clássicos, também usavam o ideograma de 'criança' em seus nomes..." - Teria dito ele.  Acredito, que eu e ela, nos pareçamos nisso também.

I really like Alice. Maybe because we somehow find our stories very similar, maybe because she has assumed that she looks like my favorite movie character who is Rachel from "Blade Runner" (1982). Or simply because I find her special.

Anyway, I heard from Si Gung in my Master Degree´s Ceremony, from the importance of this characteristic of my child to the success of my journey and to have reached that level  - "Remember Thiago: The Chinese sages who wrote the great classics also used the ideogram of 'child' in their names ..." - He would have said. I believe, Alice is like me, also in this way.
