BIRTHDAY: MASTER RICARDO AND VLADIMIR (ANIVERSÁRIO : MESTRE RICARDO E VLADIMIR)

Tem feito um sol inacreditável no Rio. E com o sol, vem o calor. Mas não importa se está fazendo sol ou não. Mesmo quando chove, faz calor de novo. Quando você sai do banho , você já está suado, e por aí vai...
E foi numa quente Sexta que estava marcado o aniversário de Mestre Ricardo Queiroz, líder da Familia Moy Ke Lo Si e Diretor do Núcleo Centro da Moy Yat Ving Tsun.
Tudo parecia estar colaborando para que eu não pudesse comparecer, mas eu me comprometi a representar o meu Si Fu na ocasião e não queria que desse errado. Além disso, queria prestigiar o Si Sok Ricardo.

Has done an unbelievable sun in Rio. And with the sun, the heat comes. But whether it's sunny or not. Even when it rains, it makes heat again. When you exit the bathroom, you're sweaty, and so on ...
It was a hot Friday which was scheduled Master  Ricardo Queiroz's b-day celeb., head of Moy Ke Lo Si Family and Director of the MYVT Downtown School.
Everything seemed to be collaborating so I could not attend, but I committed myself to represent my Si Fu at the time and Also, wanted to honor the Si Sok Ricardo.

Graças a Ailton Jordão e a André Almeida que ficaram no meu lugar no Mo Gun do Méier cuidando das sessões do dia fui liberado para ir. Entrei no meu carro e rumei para Botafogo. O aniversário aconteceria num misterioso lugar neste bairro chamado Cobal. Havia estado lá trabalhando algumas vezes entre 2004 e 2006, mas nunca em horário de funcionamento numa Sexta. Por isso não sabia o que me esperava.
No rádio tocava "Come and Get Your Love" do grupo Redbone, e era a única coisa boa naquele engarrafamento sem fim. Quando finalmente cheguei na porta da Cobal, uma grande construção com barzinhos cercados por um estacionamento privativo ao ar livre. Tinha fila de carros para entrar. Assim, precisei achar uma vaga num local próximo.

Thanks to Ailton Jordao and André Almeida who stayed at my place in MYVT Meier School taking care of the day's sessions , I was released to go. Got in my car and headed for Botafogo neighborhood. The Birthday  Party would happen in a mysterious place in this neighborhood called Cobal. I had been working there a few times between 2004 and 2006, but never been there in "happy-hour" on a Friday. So did not know what to expect.
In the radio played "Come and Get Your Love" by Redbone , and was the only good thing in that endless traffic jam. When I finally got in front of the door of Cobal, a large building with bars surrounded by a private outdoor parking. It Had a line of cars to enter. So, I had to find a parking place at a nearby location.

Quando cheguei, no restaurante Pizza Park lá dentro, algumas mesas haviam sido juntas para que todos pudessem ficar bem acomodados. Assim que cheguei dei um abraço em Si Sok Ricardo e cumprimentei sua esposa , Sra Flavia e dois de seus To Dai, Pedro Asad e Charleston Agricola , me deram um lugar pra sentar à mesa.
Fui recebido com muito carinho pela Familia Moy Ke Lo Si , e pude conversar com esses membros do Clã Moy Yat Sang assim como eu. Perto de mim também estava o discípulo de Si Sok Ricardo ,Pedro Lamarão e sua esposa, e conseguimos conversar bastante.

When I arrived at the restaurant Pizza Park there, a few tables had been put together so that all could be well accommodated. When I arrived I gave a hug in Si Sok Ricardo and greeted his wife, Mrs. Flavia and two of his To Dai, Pedro Asad and Charleston Agricola, gave me a place to sit at the table.
I was received with great affection by Family Moy Ke Lo Si, and I could talk to these members of Clan Moy Yat Sang just like me. Next to me was also the disciple of Si Sok Ricardo, Pedro Lamarao and his wife, and we talk a lot.

Alguns minutos depois de ter chegado, Si Fu adentrou o recinto. Com muito carinho, os membros da Familia Kung Fu de Si Sok que estavam proximos a ele levantaram-se de forma a Si fu poder sentar a seu lado. Os dois tiveram uma animada conversa que findou-se com o timming perfeito da chegada do bolo. Cantamos "parabéns", tanto para Si Sok Ricardo, quanto para sua filha Yasmin (foto) que também havia completado mais um ano de vida naquela semana.

A few minutes after arriving, Si Fu entered the room. With great affection, members of the Family Kung Fu of Si Sok who were next to him rose so Si fu was able to sit beside him. The two had a lively conversation that ended up with the perfect timing of the arrival of the cake. We sang "Happy Birthday" for both Si Sok Ricardo, and for his daughter Yasmin (photo) who also completed another year of life that week.

Após presenciarmos e vivermos mais esse momento marcante com Si Sok Ricardo(foto) ,seus familiares, e seus To Dai, junto de Si Fu nos despedimos de todos e depois no estacionamento nos abraçamos prometendo nos reencontrarmos no encerramento que aconteceria na manhã seguinte no Núcleo Méier.
Caminhei até meu carro e quando cheguei, alguns distintos senhores que estavam num barzinho fizeram seu teto de mesa para sua tulipas de chopp.

After saw and live one more remarkable moment with Si Sok Ricardo (photo), his wife and daughter, and his To Dai, along Si Fu I said goodbye to everyone and then next Si Fu´s car we hugged eache other promising meet again next day at MYVT Meier School.
I walked to my car and when I got there some gentlemen who were in a bar made my ride´s ceiling as a table for his beer cups.

Lembrei da cena em que o Sr Miyagi parte os gargalos das garrafas de alguns valentões que tinham feito o mesmo no para-lamas de sua caminhonete em "Karate Kid 1". Pensei que depois de 25 anos assistindo esse filme, essa seria minha chance! Mas estava tão cansado e com calor que apenas pedi licença, entrei no carro e coloquei pra tocar "Hooked on a Feeling" do Blue Swede  e aguentar mais duas horas e meia de transito até em casa.

I remembered the scene in which Mr. Miyagi cut off the necks of bottles of some bullies who had done the same in the fenders of his truck in "Karate Kid 1". I thought that after 25 years of watching this movie, this would be my chance! But I was so tired that I just excused myself, got in the car and put to play "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede so I could endure more two hours and a half of traffic to home.

No dia seguinte após o encerramento no Nucleo Méier, que também falaremos aqui, estive com meu irmão Kung Fu e grandessíssimo amigo Vladimir Anchieta(foto). Discípulo de Si Fu Julio Camacho assim como eu, para comemorarmos seus 45 anos de idade, a mesma de Si Fu. E tivemos a oportunidade de matar a saudade e colocarmos o papo em dia até as 3 am de Domingo.
Fica aqui os parabéns para Si Sok Ricardo, Vladimir e também para o Daai Si hing Leo Reis que também fez aniversário nestes dias .

The next day ,  I was with my Kung Fu brother and very great friend of mine Vladimir Anchieta(foto). Disciple of Si Fu Julio Camacho like me, to celebrate his 45 years old, the same as Si Fu. And we had the opportunity to talk a lot after a long time until 3 am of Sunday.
 Here I say happy birthday to Si Sok Ricardo, Vladimir and also to Dai Si hing Leo Reis who also celebrated his birthday these days.
