COMO CONSTRUIR UM MUK YAN JONG(HOW TO BUILD A WODDEN MAN)

Para mim, não existem mais dúvidas com relação ao fascínio das pessoas pelo Muk Yan Jong. Nunca vi tamanha “magia” envolvendo um instrumento no mundo das artes marciais como o “Boneco de Madeira”.
Ainda lembro desta mesma “Magia” atuando em mim , quando cheguei pela primeira vez ao Mo Gun em Abril de 1999, e por todos os anos que se seguiram.

For me, there are no more doubts about the fascination from people to Muk Yan Jong. Never seen such "magic" involving an instrument in the martial arts world as the "Wodden Man".
Still remember this same "Magic" acting in me when I first came to the Mo Gun in April 1999, and for all the years that followed.

Mas esta “Magia” não surge do nada. O Muk Yan Jong é geralmente montado pelos próprios praticantes do recinto. Não necessariamente, pelos que estão no Domínio Mui Fa Jong, mas por todos, pois um dia, essas mesmas pessoas também o usarão...

No último final de semana, Si Gung falou algumas vezes sobre momentos seus com Si Taai Gung Moy Yat, e narrou uma passagem, na qual Si Taai Gung Moy Yat disse: “...Eu não ensino técnicas de Kung Fu aqui. Eu ensino Kung Fu. Entendeu?” . Si Gung disse que na época respondeu que sim, mas que não havia entendido muito bem o que ele quis dizer. Tempos depois, Si Gung percebeu algo, que também compartilhou conosco neste mesmo final de semana passado: “...Kung Fu não se ensina. Então como ensinar algo que não se pode ensinar?”

Si Gung falou muito sobre respeitar o tempo necessário de cada um, e deixar que a pessoa vivencie os processos proporcionados pelo convívio com a Família Kung Fu naturalmente.
Poderia citar na postagem de hoje, a preparação do Muk Yan Jong do Méier. Uma preparação que está contando com a participação de membros dos Núcleos: Copacabana, Barra e Méier.

Já por mais de algumas vezes, recebi emails me perguntando se poderia passar as medidas oficiais do
Muk Yan Jong. Na primeira delas fiquei bem espantado com o pedido. Mas depois, com o tempo, percebi que o que muitas pessoas não entendem, é que o aprendizado das medidas, de como montar, de como funciona, onde tem que estar mais frouxo, onde tem que estar mais preso, não se dá num dia marcado, com todos sentados enquanto algum Si Hing ou mesmo o Si fu fala próximo a um quadro...

For more than a few times, I received emails asking if I could pass the official measures of
Muk Yan Jong. In the first time I was quite amazed with the request. But then, with time, I realized that what many people do not understand is that learning measures, how to build, how it works, which have to be looser, which has to be more stuck, is not taught on a special day, with everyone sitting while some Si Hing or even Si fu speaks next to a board ...

Essa aprendizagem se dá de forma natural. Para quem está presente no momento da montagem ou reforma de um Muk Yan Jong por exemplo. E não pense que fica alguém do lado dizendo como deve ser feito, polegada por polegada.

Si Fu já esteve por diversas vezes em Nova York , como vemos na foto acima na qual aparece com Si Taai Gung e Si Sok Marcelo Abreu, acompanhando Si Gung em viagens. Mas eu nunca pensei que Si Fu fosse algum tipo de milionário que pode fazer uma viagem dessas todo ano. Todas elas sempre foram feitas a troco de muito sacrifício pessoal.

Acontece que nesse tipo de viagem, não se pode esperar pelo "conhecimento supremo". Porque ele não existe. Porque no Kung Fu, tudo faz parte de um processo sem fim.

Por isso, Si Gung em outras oportunidades comentou sobre a alegria de saber que em todas as suas viagens, Si Taai Gung Moy Yat nunca maquiou ou manipulou seu dia-a-dia enquanto ele estava lá. Muito pelo contrário, Si Taai Gung Moy Yat deixou com que Si Gung participasse de seu dia-a-dia normalmente. Favorecendo seu processo de experiência da Vida Kung Fu.

O mesmo aconteceu com a líder da Família Moy Lin Mah, minha Si Sok Ursula Lima, que por muitas vezes ia ao Mo Gun apenas para participar da manutenção do mesmo. Principalmente quando seu Si Hing, meu Si Fu Julio Camacho, não estava presente. Reforçando o que Si Fu disse para Rodrigo Caputo na última Cerimônia de nossa Família: "...Você não liga pra saber se o Si Hing está no Mo Gun para aí sim você ir. Se aquele é o seu horário, você vai. E muitas vezes, você vai dizer: 'É exatamente por você não poder estar, que eu vou assumir'..."

Isso também diz respeito, a Vida Kung Fu estar acessível a todos, mas será que todos estão disponíveis para vivenciá-la?

The same happened with the leader of the  Moy Lin Mah Family, my Si Sok Ursula Lima, who often went to the Mo Gun just to participate in the maintenance of that. E esse conhecimento da Vida Kung Fu, só atinge a quem a vive.  Pois como vemos na foto acima, a demanda era pintar o Muk Yan Jong. Antes disso, tinhamos que preparar o material, preparar o local, chegar a tonalidade adequada, e depois pintar. O que cada um tirou desse processo, é por conta deles. 

And this knowledge of  Kung Fu Life, only reaches those who live it. As we see in the photo above, the demand was to paint the Muk Yan Jong. Então quando vir aquelas matérias sobre a importância do praticante aprender a forjar as armas, ou os instrumentos que utiliza em sua prática como um Muk Yan Jong. Não espere por aquele dia especial, onde todas as suas dúvidas serão tiradas e os ensinamentos lhe serão passados. Não é assim. São todos os dias, pouco a pouco. E por falar nisso, talvez ontem mesmo você não tenha tomado consciência a respeito da oportunidade que viveu.
