V CERIMÔNIA DA FAM. MOY LIN MAH (THE V CEREMONY OF THE MOY LIN MAH FAMILY)

Eu sempre imaginei que quando saísse da casa dos meus pais, eu já estaria casado e montar a casa seria como no início do filme "GHOST-Do Outro lado da Vida"(1990). Tudo ia acontecer bem rápido, uma música tocando no fundo, e não duraria mais de 3 dias toda a reforma,rs,... Se minha esposa iria querer fazer vasilhames em cerâmica,ou se eu seria baleado e continuaria falando com ela em forma de espírito através da Whoopi Goldberg, era outra história....
Mas veja bem, não é que a vida, não se pareça com  um filme, ela só não se parece com o filme que você queria que ela se parecesse....


I always thought that when I would leave the house of my parents, I would be married and set up my house would be like at the beginning of the movie "GHOST" (1990). Everything would happen very fast, a song playing in the background, and would not last more than three days the whole reform, lol, ... If my wife would want to make ceramic containers, or if I would be shot and continue talking to her trough Whoopi Goldberg, was another story ....
But you see, is not that life does not look like a movie, it just does not look like the movie you wanted it to look like ....

E depois de meu chuveiro quase criar uma supernova com um estouro nos fios, o piso sair, e eu dormir em forma de "S" entre caixas de papelão na cama, meu humor não estava dos melhores naquela manhã de Sábado... Mas isso até eu viver grandes emoções e conhecer um dos lugares mais bonitos em que já estive até hoje no RIO na ...

And after my shower almost create a supernova with a "eletric explosion" on the wires, floor openning, and after I slept in the form of a "S" between boxes in my bed, my mood was not the best on that Saturday morning ... Graças ao esforço conjunto dos membros da Família Moy Lin Mah, com o destaque para Paulo Napólis com relação ao local, foi possível realizar a Cerimônia no Forte São João na Urca.

O bairro da Urca em si, é um lugar maravilhoso. E o Forte São João é inacreditável...


Thanks to the joint efforts of the members of the Moy Lin Mah Family, with emphasis on Paulo Naplolis who got the place, it was possible to perform the ceremony at the Fort St. John in Urca neighborhood.

Quando chegamos, Si Sok Ratts, Paulo Napolis e Rodolpho Alcantra discutiam sobre o que faltava para a Cerimônia. Ela aconteceria no Auditório da Escola de Educação Física do Exército .

When we arrived, Si Sok Ratts, Rodolpho Alcantra and Paulo Napolis were talkin' about what was missing for the ceremony. It happened in the Auditorium of the School of Physical Education of the Brazilian Army ....

Guilherme aproveitou antes do início da Cerimônia, para as ultimas orientações a Maraya Schmitz,Marcos Paulo e Diogo Nápolis. Os 3 estavam concluindo os estudos do módulo "Siu Ye Kuen" para crianças.

Guilherme before the ceremony, talks the latest guidelines to Maraya Schmitz, Marcos Paulo and Diogo  Napolis. The three were completing the studies  of the module "Siu Ye Kuen" for children.

Antes da abertura oficial da Cerimônia, o próprio Paulo falou um pouco sobre o local. Segundo ele, algumas seleções do Brasil usam o espaço do Forte para praticar. Civis e militares fazem treinamento e preparação no local, e o exército se beneficia dessas oportunidades para se manter atualizado em termos de Ed. Fisica e esporte.

Before the official opening of the ceremony, Paulo himself talked a bit about the place. According to him, some national teams of Brazil use the space to practice . Military and civilian do training and preparation  in this place, and the army benefits of these opportunities to keep up in terms of sport and Physical Ed.

Si Sok Ratts fez a abertura da Cerimônia. Ele se preparou dias antes para fazê-la e foi muito bacana acompanhar todo o seu esforço em fazer um bom trabalho , valorizando a Família de Mestre Ursula.

Diogo Napolis , foi o terceiro e ultimo naquela manhã a receber de Mestre Ursula e de seu esposo Ricardo Lopes, uma medalha comemorativa dos 50 anos de Mestre Leo Imamura, por ocasião de sua conclusão do módulo Siu Ye Kuen. Diogo também é filho de Paulo Napolis.

Diogo Napolis, was the third and final that morning to receive from Master Ursula and her husband Ricardo Lopes, a medal commemorating the 50th anniversary of Master Leo Imamura on the occasion of completion of the module Siu Ye Kuen. Diogo is also the son of Paulo Napolis.

Tive oportunidade de conhecer Eduarda Guedes, mais chamada de Duda, na minha última visita ao Núcleo Copacabana há duas semanas. Na verdade, me espantou a propriedade com que Duda fala sobre quadrinhos, mas com certeza também impressionou a todos, a propriedade e carinho com que fala do irmão Enio Guedes. Que foi seu apresentador formal, nesta que foi sua Cerimônia de Admissão na
Família Moy Lin Mah.


I knew Eduarda Guedes, most called Duda,for the first time, just some days ago on my last visit to Copacabana MYVT School. In fact, I was amazed with the property that Duda talks about comics, but also she certainly impressed everyone with  affection which she speaks about her brother Enio Guedes. What was her formal  introducer to KF Family as this was her Admission Ceremony into the
Moy Lin Mah Family .

Leonardo Fatorelli , ou simplesmente "Leo", foi também admitido na Família Kung Fu naquela ocasião. Ele foi apresentado por Si Sok Ratts. Leo falou sobre como se sentiu maravilhado com o ambiente do Mo Gun e sobre como a sua Si Fu, Ursula Lima, despende atenção a ele durante suas sessões.

Leonardo Fatorelli, or simply "Leo", was also introduced to Kung Fu Family that morning. He was introduced by Si Sok Ratts. Leo spoke about how he felt amazed with the environment of the Mo Gun and how his Si Fu, Ursula Lima, spends attention to him during their sessions.

Rodolpho Alcantra foi promovido ao Domínio Cham Kiu naquela manhã, e me convidou para ser seu orientador. Rodolpho falou um pouco sobre a importância de sua Si Fu e da Família Kung Fu em sua vida desde que começou.

Rodolpho Alcantra was promoted to Cham Kiu Domain that morning, and invited me to orientate him in this proccess. Rodolpho spoke about the importance of his Si Fu and Kung Fu Family in his life since he began.

Eu tirei essa foto enquanto patinava na praia perto do Natal. E vendo uma paisagem como essa, você pensa na vida. Pensa em quem já foi, em quem você ainda nem conheceu... Pensa no que você tem pra fazer, tenta escalar o time do Flamengo de cabeça mas não consegue... Enfim, você pensa em muitas coisas... Mas menos uma: "Formigas"....

Enio Guedes, o rapaz loiro na foto, foi promovido ao Domínio Cham Kiu. Entre outras coisas que ele disse  sobre sua experiência no Siu Nim Tau e agradecimentos , Enio disse que o Siu Nim Tau o ajudou a aprender melhor sobre como focar no que é mais importante, pois segundo o mesmo , por muitas vezes se pega em pensamentos perdidos quando deveria estar estudando, como por exemplo "A inteiração cósmica das formigas"...rs Esse pensamento nunca me ocorreu...rs

Enio Guedes, the blond guy in the photo, was promoted to  Cham Kiu Domain. Among other things he said about his experience in the Siu Nim Tau and thanks some people,

. Enio said the Siu Nim Tau helped him to learn more about how to focus on what is most important, because according to him, he often gets lost in thoughts when he should be studying, such as "The cosmic interaction of ants" ... lol That thought never occurred to me before ... lol

Lawrence Jr,é o mais alto na foto. Ele também foi promovido ao Cham Kiu, e é mais conhecido como Larry. (NOTA:Esses nomes estão legais demais. Veja: Eu me chamo Thiago, costumam me chamar de Pereira, e para os mais próximos "Pereirinha"... Só piora...  rs)

Lawrence Jr, is the highest in the picture. He was also promoted to the Cham Kiu, and he is best known as Larry. (NOTE: These names are too cool. See: My name is Thiago, usually people call me "Pereira", and the closest ones call me "Pereirinha" ... only gets worse ... lol)

Larry surpreendeu a todos, quando disse que ainda que estivesse sendo promovido ao Domínio Cham Kiu, não sentia que havia "dominado o Siu Nim Tau". Sua Si Fu , Ursula Lima, explicou que "domínio" se referia a algo como um "território". Larry poderia agora, além do "Território do SNT", explorar o território do Cham Kiu.

Larry surprised everyone when he said that although he was being promoted to  Cham Kiu Domain, he felt he had not  "mastered the Siu Nim Tau". His Si Fu, Ursula Lima explained that "domain" referred to something as a "territory".Thats because in brazilian portuguese , the word for Domain and Mastering is the same.

Paulo Napolis também foi promovido ao Cham Kiu. Paulo viajará a trabalho pelo exército brasileiro até Israel. E lá viverá pelos próximos dois anos. Por isso foi bem significativa sua Cerimônia dentro do Forte São João. A Paulo foi dada a missão de manter-se como membro da Família Kung Fu, ainda que distante geograficamente.

Paulo Napolis was also promoted to the Cham Kiu. Paulo will travel to work by the Brazilian army to Israel. And there will live for the next two years. So it was a very significant ceremony inside Fort St. John for Paulo. Also,  was given to him the mission to remain as a member of the Kung Fu Family, although geographically distant.

Ricardo Lopes , é chamado de "Sing Sang" pelos membros da Família Moy Lin Mah em sinal de respeito. Este termo significa "senhor" em cantonês. 

Ricardo acompanha sua antes namorada e hoje esposa, Mestre Ursula Lima desde sempre na Família Kung Fu...

Ricardo Lopes, is called "Sing Sang" by Moy Lin Mah Family members a sign of respect. This term means "mister" in Cantonese.

Ricardo follows his girlfriend and now wife, Master Ursula always in her Kung Fu journey ...

Em cada uma das Cerimônias Ricardo falou aos presentes que apesar de ficar mais nos bastidores, para que Mestre Ursula possa estar disponível e tranquila para a Familia Kung Fu, ele também se colocou disponível a todos os membros para quando precisarem. Ricardo também disse aos familiares, que a presença de um praticante de Ving Tsun na Família, e muito bom. Já que ele mesmo tendo Mestre Ursula como esposa, presencia seu Kung Fu em situações do dia-a-dia...

In each of Ceremonies Ricardo told for the members that despite being more behind the scenes, so he let Master Ursula open for Kung Fu Family, he also placed himself available to all members when they need to. Ricardo also told the relatives os the practitioners that the presence of a Ving Tsun practitioner in a Family, is very good. Since he has a wife Master Ursula, who uses her Kung Fu in situations of daily life ...

Ao final , fomos até um local ao ar livre no próprio forte, para um "brunch" organizado pelos membros da Família Moy Lin Mah.
Passamos bons momentos juntos, e com comida muito boa...  E terminou tudo bem....

We spent quality time together, and with very good food ... And it all ended well ....

Eu ainda tinha o resto da reforma do meu apartamento para continuar....  Mas isso fica para um outro dia...
