MASTER WILLIAM MOY´S STUDENT IN RIO (ALUNO DE MESTRE WILLIAM MOY NO RIO)

Na última semana, recebemos no Rio Herbert Medina, que vive em Nova York e pratica Ving Tsun sob a tutela de Si Baak Gung William Moy.
Em sua estadia em nossa cidade, Herbert pôde visitar os três Núcleos da MYVT: Barra, Copacabana e Méier.

Last week, we received here in Rio, Herbert Medina, who lives in New York and practiced Ving Tsun under the tutelage of Si Baak Gung  William Moy.

During his stay in our city, Herbert was able to visit the three  MYVT branches in our city: Barra, Copacabana and Meier.

Foi muito interessante para todos nós que não tivemos ainda a oportunidade de ir ao exterior,observarmos e sentirmos que mesmo sendo da mesma linhagem, cada Familia tem uma abordagem diferente do Ving Tsun ainda que a essência continue a mesma.

It was very interesting for all of us who still have not had the opportunity to go abroad, look and feel that even though the same lineage, every family has a different approach to the Ving Tsun yet the essence remains the same.

HERBERT NO NÚCLEO MÉIER

Além da Barra da Tijuca, como dito acima, Herbert também esteve nos Núcleos Méier e Copacabana.

No Méier, ele coordenou as sessões de Pedro que está no Siu Nim Tau, e Luciano que está no Biu Ji. De maneira que estes dois pudessem conhecer diferentes pontos de vista.

In addition to the Barra da Tijuca, as stated above, Herbert Medina went also to the  Copacabana and Meier branches, he coordinated the Ving Tsun sessions for Pedro who is in the Siu Nim Tau, and for Luciano in Biu Ji. So these two could meet different points of view.

Na sessão de Biu Ji, de fato tratou-se mais de uma troca 

de experiências entre ele e Luciano.

In Biu Ji, we had in fact an exchange of 

experiences between him and Luciano.

propostos pelo próprio Herbert.

Quando Herbert esteve no Núcleo Méier,Zona Norte do Rio, decidi por dar um presente para que ele entregasse a seu Si Fu, Si Baak Gung William Moy. Trata-se de uma camisa oficial do Flamengo, o que também foi uma brincadeira com meu próprio Si Fu que é Fluminense. Mas, temos que concordar que para acessar o verdadeiro espírito do Rio, só envergando esta camisa!rs

When Herbert was in MYVT Meier Branch, I gave him a t-shirt of the most popular soccer team in Brazil, and also the soccer team with more fans in the planet (over 35 million people) . That is a gift to Si Baak Gung William Moy. This way he can experience the real spirit of Rio!

My Si Fu will not like that, 'cause his team his one of the greatests rivals of Flamengo.

A visita de Herbert foi especial para todos da Moy Yat Ving Tsun Rio de Janeiro. Esperamos que tenha sido tão proveitoso para ele, quanto foi para nós recebe-lo.

We hope that for Herbert this was so special as it was for us.
