No filme "Ip Man" de 2008, em determinado momento, o Mestre nortista Jin Shanzhao (金山找) , interpretado pelo dovertido e muitíssimo talentoso ator Fang siu Wong, chega a FatSan e começa a desafiar os Si Fu(s) da região.

In the movie IP MAN(2208), the Master Jin Shanzhao (金山找), played by the very talented and funny Fang Siu Wong, arrives in FatSan and starts to challenge every kung fu master.

Um após o outro, os Si Fu(s) são derrotados em cenas onde particulamente na época, eu finalmente havia sentido que consegui ver a essência de uma arte nos movimentos.(Ainda que fossem coreografias).

Pois Fang Siu Wong, numa interpretação inspirada, realiza movimentos que trazem a sua cabeça a arte conhecida no Brasil como "Garra-de-Águia".

One by another, the Fat San Masters are defeated by Jin Shan Zhao, in some scenes that at the time, I have to say that I felt like I could see the arte trough his movements, even being coregraphed movements..
'Cause Fang siu Wong was inspirated playing the bad guy.

JIN SHAN ZHAO VS IP MAN

Jin Shan Zhao vence a todos, e numa cena onde come com seus irmãos Kung-Fu , ele solta o divertido comentário: "Achei que todos em FatSan lutassem como Wong Fei Hung".

Jin shan Zhao defeats everyone, and after that, he is eating with his KF brothers and say: "I tought that everyone in FatSan would be like Wong Fei Hung."

Wong Fei Hung foi o legendário Si fu de Hung Ga, o qual possui inclusive um museu em FatSan , o qual 
Si Fu visitou com Si Sok Fabio Gomes em 2006.
O sr. que servia a comida caçoou de sua inocência, pois disse que Jin Shan Zhao não havia enfrentado o melhor: Ip Man.
Ele, seus irmãos Kung Fu e praticamente toda a cidade rumam para a mansão da Familia Ip em busca da contenda que definiria quem era o melhor...

He was talkin´about the legendary Hung Ga Master Wong Fei Hung, that also has a museum only for himself in FatSan. Si Fu Julio Camacho(11G VT) and Si Sok Fabio Gomes(11G VT) was there in 2006 trip.

The owner of the place where they were eating make fun of them, because they did not challenge the greatest master of FatSan: Ip Man.

So , the man and his fellas, followed by almost the entire city went to Ip man´s place to have a fight.

IP MAN VS SI FU DE GARRA-DE-ÁGUIA.

Em 1910 , foi fundada uma Associação chamada Ching Woo(精武体育会).

In 1910, was founded an Association Called Ching Woo(精武体育会)

Ching Woo(que é mais conhecida por esta grafia), também foi um local visitado por Si Fu e a comitiva do Clã Moy Yat em 2006. Nesta foto, vemos a líder do Clã Moy Yat, Sra. Helen Moy, sentada no lugar de honra da Associação Ching Woo ao lado de seu diretor durante esta visita.

Ching Woo was also a place visited by Si Fu, Si sok and the Moy Yat Clan in '06 during the trip. In the photo above, the leader of MYVT,Ms. Helen Moy sat on the honor place of the school. The director is by her side.

"Ching Woo Ti Yu Hui" significa(em mandarim com ideogramas simplificados):
"Ching Woo Ti Yu Hui" means in mandarin:

精 (Jing)- Essência.(essence)
武 (Wu)- Marcial(martial)
体(Ti) - Grupo (group)
育(Yu) - educar (to educate)
会(Hui) - juntar (gather)

Por isso "Ching Woo Athletic Association" não passa extamente sua essência.
That is why "Ching Woo athletic Association" in western words, dont brings its essence.

Essa Associação, até hoje abriga diferentes estilos de artes marciais chinesas. E não era diferente na época de Ip Man. Certo dia, chegou aquele local, um Si Fu de Garra-de-Águia. Derrotando todos os Mestres, FatSan preciava de alguém para representá-la, e isso coube a Ip Man...

That Association 'till today has different styles of chinese martial arts. And at Ip Man´s time was no different. Someday, a Eagle-Claw Si Fu came defeating every Master, and FatSan choose Ip Man to represent it.

Ip Ching em entrevista a uma revista especializada em artes marciais(a ser postada aqui amanhã), conta o seguinte:

Ip Ching gave an interview (will be scan tomorrow) and 

said :

"Um Mestre do estilo Garra-de-Águia chegou a Fat San. Existia uma escola chamada Ching Woo que aceitava diferentes artes. Este homem desafiou todos os Mestres da escola e os derrotou. Para recuperar a honra de FatSan, era preciso que alguém desafiasse o homem. Como ninguém aceitou o desafio, indicaram meu pai. 

Foi então construído um enorme tablado e as pessoas pagavam por lugares para assistir a luta.Porém, na primeira investida do homem, meu pai o arremessou fora do tablado. Como caiu sobre algumas cadeiras, teve sua costela machucada, ficando impossibilitado de continuar. As pessoas não aceitaram que a luta tivesse terminado tão rápido, assim, meu pai decidiu demonstrar o Biu Ji para acalmar a multidão.

Depois disso, meu pai ficou muito famoso em FatSan e todos passaram a chamá-lo de 'Ip Si Fu' "

"A master of the Eagle Claw style came to FatSan. There was a school called Ching Woo that accepted different arts. This man defied all the Masters of the School and defeated them. To restore the honor of FatSan, someone was needed to challenge the man. Since no one accepted the challenge the city choose my father.

They built a huge stage and people paid for seats to watch the fight.But in the first onslaught of the man, my father threw him off the stage. He fell over some chairs, had injured his rib, being unable to continue. People did not accept that the fight was over so fast, so my father decided to demonstrate the Biu Ji to calm the crowd.

After that, my father was very famous in all FatSan and poeple started calling him 'Ip Si Fu' "
