III CERIMÔNIA DA FAMÍLIA DE MESTRA URSULA (III CEREMONY OF MASTER URSULA´S FAMILY)

Uma tradição não formal existem em nosso Clã . Esta diz respeito ao Si Fu cortar o primeiro pedaço de seu bolo de aniversário, usando o Do.
Já vi isso acontecer muitas vezes, mas me chamou a atenção como a Família Kung Fu de Si Sok Ursula, exatamente por estar celebrando seu primeiro aniversário , ficou surpresa quando souberam, e principalmente quando viram ela usando o Do pra cortar o bolo... Algo que pra mim hoje é comum, para eles foi muito especial. E até mesmo reacendeu em mim a importância deste símbolo....

Mas se você quer saber o que me surpreendeu mesmo naquela noite, eu digo pra vocês....

A no formal tradition exists in our Clan. This concerns that the Si Fu cut the first piece of his birthday cake, using the Do.

I've seen this happen many times, but was a really surprise for me that in the Kung Fu Family of my Si Sok Ursula, just to be celebrating her first birthday as a Si Fu, they were surprised when they learned, and especially when viewed she using the Do  to cut the cake ... Something that is common today for me, was very special for them. And even rekindled in me the importance of this symbol ....

But if you want to know what surprised me more that night, I tell you ....

O que me surpreendeu de verdade, foi quando sentado ao lado de Si Sok Luiz Ratts, ele elogiou um video que eu fiz pro Si Fu pela comemoração de seus 20 anos da Família Kung Fu (CLIQUE AQUI), e disse que gostava do tipo de música que eu usei, e começou a cantarolar vários clássicos à mesa, que eu nem lembrava, mas um deles em especial foi brincadeira!

What I  really surprised me, was when I was sitting next to Si Sok Luiz Ratts, he praised the video I made for to Si Fu celebrating his 20 years of Kung Fu Family (CLICK HERE), and he said he liked the type of music I used, and started singing several classics from the 80's at the table,Some that I did not even remember, but one in particular was for real!

Eu estou a exatamente uma semana sem conseguir tirar esse refrão da minha mente:
"Never say die, iron eagle!Nothing's forever, now or ever!Never say die, iron eagle!Never look back, never say die!!!"
Rapaz..... a voz do Si Sok cantarolando isso com seu sotaque espanhol vem a minha mente a cada 3 minutos...

 I'm exactly one week without being able to take off my mind this chorus:"Never say die, iron eagle! Nothing's forever, now or ever! Never say die, iron eagle! Never look back, never say die!"

Boy ..... Si Sok's voice singing with his Spanish accent tcomes to my mind every 3 minutes ...

AND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
PART 1 

A Cerimônia e o aniversário aconteceram no hotel othon classic em Copacabana. E graças a sugestão do Si Sok Felipe Soares de irmos pelo Centro da cidade chegamos lá bem cedo. E algo que só acontece em anos bissextos ou quando os planetas se alinham também foi possível: Eu pegar uma vaga bem em frente ao hotel!

The ceremony took place at the othon classic hotel in Copacabana. And thanks to the suggestion of 
Si Sok Felipe Soares to go through to downtown from our neghborhood , we got there very early. And something that only happens in leap years or when the planets align it was also possible: I pick a spot right outside the hotel for my car! Can you believe?

Quando chegamos, apenas Luciano e Si Sok Ratts estavam presentes. Si Sok deu grande suporte antes do início da Cerimônia, algo bem legal de ver.

When we arriverd, only Luciano and Si Sok Ratts were there. It is very special to see how Si Sok Ratts take care of the Ceremony before it starts.

Ismael(ao fundo) aspirante a membro da Família Moy Jo Lei Ou, tem participado muito das atividades da Família Kung Fu além de suas sessões e esteve presente. As Daai Si Je da Família Moy Lin Mah, Marilia e Inez ficaram conosco até que as celebrações começassem.

Marilia acessaria o Cham Kiu naquela noite, e Inez faria a abertura das Cerimônias. Si Sok Felipe seria uma das testemunhas honoráveis, e eu , o fotógrafo oficial.
Ser o fotógrafo oficial é sempre bacana quando possível, porque geralmente quem faz isso muito bem é o Si Sok Jones. Mas eu também curto, afinal, nunca se sabe quando algo assim pode acontecer...

 Marilia would access Cham Kiu that night, and Inez would make the opening speech for the ceremonies. Si Sok Felipe would be one of the honorable member clan present there, and I would be the official photographer.Being the official photographer is always nice when possible, usually because who does this very well is Si Sok Jones. Então quando todos já estavam presentes, e devidamente nervosos,rs , Inez fez a abertura da noite, explicando os elementos presentes na mesa ancestral, e que tipo de celebração ocorreria naquela noite. Inez estava ansiosa antes de começar, e ela carregava uma pasta com o que ela iria falar. Aprendi muito com isso, porque quanto mais tempo temos na Família, é comum fazermos esta abertura de improviso, e nem sempre sai legal. Inez fez super bem, e quando precisava dava uma rápida olhada em seu material. Acho que isso foi importante para reativar também este símbolo em mim...

Além de Inez, tinhamos de um lado os orientadores e Gaai Siu Yan dos praticantes: Caio, Si Sok Ratts, Si Sok Ines e Guilherme.

Caio, Si Sok Ratts, Si Sok Ines and Guilherme would present the members that night for everyone.

Dois mestres qualificados foram as testemunhas: Si Sok Fabio Gomes, que trabalha com o Ving Tsun em forças de operações especiais, e Si Sok Felipe Soares, como dito anteriormente.

 Acompanhando a Mestra Ursula Lima na Cerimônia, seu marido, Sr Ricardo Lopes, companheiro de quase toda uma vida.

Guilherme apresentou Larry, e deu enfase na ótima pessoa que Larry é, e em sua incrível educação ao lidar com os demais.

Guilherme presented Larry, talking about how good person he is. Also, about his kindness to deal with others in Mo Gun.

Larry divertiu a todos quando comentou sobre Mestra Ursula brincar com ele referindo-se a sua semelhança com um ator de novelas. Ele também enfatizou que estava muito feliz com esse momento, e esse foi um dos motivos também de fazer questão da presença de seus familiares.

Larry amused everyone when he commented that Mestra Ursula joke with him referring to his resemblance to a soap opera actor. He also emphasized that he was very happy with that this moment, and this was also one of the reasons have the presence of his family.

Ao final, após todos serem apresentados, Larry e os demais receberam das mãos do Sr Ricardo Lopes o ceritificado de admissão na Família Moy Lin Mah e foram apresentados simbólicamente a mesa ancestral. Mas infelizmente tenho que dizer que Larry perdeu alguns pontos comigo.

At the end, after everyone being presented, Larry and the others received from the hands of Mr Ricardo Lopes the certificate of  admission in the Family Moy Lin Mah and were symbolically presented to the ancestral table. But unfortunately I have to say that Larry lost some points with me.

Larry chegou até mim no final da noite e disse: "Você é o Thiago Pereira né? Prazer em te conhecer. Eu não tinha certeza se era você porque no Blog você aparece tão magrinho e aí eu te vi lá na frente tão... 'fortinho'...."  (hahhaha)
A foto acima , como sinal de protesto, mostra que eu não fui o único a ficar 'fortinho' com o passar dos anos..rs Mas por que será que só eu escuto isso??? rsrsrs

Larry came to me int he end of the night and said: "You are Thiago Pereira right? Nice to meet you. Was not sure if was you because you show up on blog so skinny and then I saw you out thete so ... 'strong' .... "(hahhaha) [*** in brazil when someone is a little bit fat, we said that the person is 'strong']

The photo above, as a sign of protest of mine, shows that I was not the only one getting 'strong' over the years .. lol But why just me?? lol

Roberto, que é cirurgião e ex-praticante de outras artes marciais, foi também apresentado por Guilherme Farias, que citou o fato dele pesquisar bastante na internet sobre Ving Tsun, e também sobre seu novo momento no qual compartilha com outros membros sua experiência já adquirida com a prática.

Foi muito bacana quando Si Sok Ines apresentou Angela. Si Sok Ines é um membro da Família Kung Fu ainda dos anos 90, e Angela ficou sabendo que ela praticava Ving Tsun e mal pôde acreditar. Angela já havia tido outra experiência que a marcou muito, mas resolveu dar uma segunda chance a arte, e está muito feliz por fazer parte agora de uma Família Kung Fu.

Paulo faz parte do exército brasileiro, e sua postura é bem séria. Mas quando ele começou a falar percebemos logo em seguida um outro Paulo. Frisou também algo muito bacana, que foi a presença de seus filhos, para que eles vissem a importância de acreditar num sonho e que é possível alcançá-lo...

Si Sok frisou o fato de Bruno ser muito prestativo, inclusive participando ativamente da realização deste evento na noite de Sábado...

O momento mais esperado, foi quando Mestra Ursula Lima, mostrou a primeira parte do Siu Nim Tau aos admitidos, autorizando-os finalmente a começar a pratica do Sistema Tradicional.

E ainda que Marilia tenha afirmado que a minha irmã Kung Fu Tati era como uma espécie de Obi Wan Kenobi pra ela, e que a Mestra Ursula como um Yoda. Mestra Ursula não falou pra ela nesses anos como um Yoda..rs mas foi o que Marilia entendeu "fazer, não tentar. Fazer"...

Isso porque, enquanto Marilia falava sobre sua experiência no Siu Nim Tau, e acessava o nível Cham Kiu. Marilia contou um pouco de sua história desde o estúdio em Ipanema, e sobre seu afastamento temporário, e como para ela, foi forte perceber sua ligação com sua Si fu mesmo a distância. Um processo crescente, que resultou em seu retorno após um almoço. Assim Marilia segue firme, "sem tentativas, apenas fazendo.", como ensinou Mestre Yoda...

Em poucas palavras, o Daai Si Hing da Família Moy Lin Mah, Caio. Falou sobre Marcelo, que também acessava o Cham Kiu naquela noite.

Marcelo, na presença de seus familiares, falou sobre sua rica experiência no Siu Nim Tau. Comentou que sempre disseram que ele precisava de mais "chão" em sua vida, e o Siu Nim Tau possibilitou isso a ele.

Leo, quando me viu , disse que estava desde cedo sem comer nada: "Ah não ser uma coca-cola!" .. Ele havia participado mais cedo de um torneio de Hockey na grama. Mas ainda que Leo tenha comentado isso com mais pessoas, inclusive com o adendo da coca-cola..rs O mais importante foi a sua presença. Que foi algo frisado, sua capacidade de fazer muitas coisas e estar presente de verdade em todas elas.

Leo, when he saw me, said he was without eating anything all day : "Ah only drink some Coke!" .. He had earlier participated in a tournament of Hockey on grass. Luciano foi apresentado por Si Sok Jones Ullman, dono da máquina fotográfica que estas fotos foram tiradas, (só os fortes entenderão) , e Jones falou um pouco sobre o que significava esse momento de acesso ao Cham Kiu para Luciano, que vem de outro estado e hoje reside no Rio de Janeiro.

Luciano was presented by Si Sok Jones Ullman, owner of the camera that these photos were taken, , and Jones talked a bit about what that moment meant to Luciano, who comes from another state and now resides in Rio de Janeiro.

13 ANOS DE KUNG FU E ANIVERSÁRIO (13 YEARS OF KUNG FU AND BIRTHDAY!)

Em 2002, durante celebração de seu aniversário, Si Gung abriu seu discurso dizendo que não gostava de comemorar o dia do seu aniversário, até que entendeu, que o aniversário é a oportunidade das pessoas próximas a vocês o celebrarem. E assim compreendeu que a comemoração eram para os outros poderem parabenizá-lo, e assim passou a aproveitá-las mais....

In 2002, during the celebration of his birthday, Si Gung opened his speech by saying that he did not like to celebrate his birthday until he realized that the birthday celebration is a chance of people close to you to celebrate you. Ontem, após um dia muitissimo corrido e uma noite também. Após andar na caçamba de uma saveiro fazendo peso numa porta de vidro que poderia voar no carro de trás como um míssel a qualquer momento e ficar com metade do meu rosto congelado..rs Fui convidado pelos irmãos Kung Fu a comer uma pizza próximo a sala onde ficará o novo Mo Gun , pois ontem completei 13 anos de Kung Fu.

Yesterday, after a day and a wild night. After riding the open-trunk of a car, making weight on a loose glass door that could fly back in the car behind us in high-way as a missile anytime and stay with half my face frozen .. hehe I was invited by the Kung Fu brothers to eat some pizza near to our room where is the new future Mo Gun, because yesterday I completed 13 years of Kung Fu.

Para mim foi um momento muito valioso. Estar com pessoas que gosto muito e poder de alguma maneira compartilhar alguns momentos (alguns constrangedores é vero..rs) importantes com Thiago, Carlos, Gui, Cynthia e Ismael. Foi bem divertido...

For me it was a very remarkable moment. Being with people that I love and being able to somehow share some moments (some embarrassing too .. hehe) important with Thiago, Carlos, Gui, Cynthia and Ismael. It was really fun ...

Mas não parou por ai...
But it would not stop there...

Era muito tarde a sessão que Daniel, amigo pessoal de Carlos e Thiago convidou para que assistissemos um filme também próximo a nova sala onde será o novo Mo Gun...rs
Alguns amigos de Carlos e Thiago, bem como Lu, esposa de Carlos e o próprio Gui estiveram presentes...

Mais um momento marcante, claro, acentuado pela minha camisa florida..rsrs


It was very late when Daniel, a personal friend of Carlos and Thiago invited us to watch a movie also near where the new Mo Gun will be  ...
Some friends of Carlos and Thiago, and Lu, wife of Carlos and  Gui himself were there ...

Another remarkable moment, of course, accentuated by my flower t-shirt  .. lol

Dentro do cinema eu recebi um "Parabéns para você" de TODO o cinema..rsrs  Foi bem engraçado...

E finalmente, eu que não gosto de comemorar aniversários(talvez por preguiça mesmo..rs), recebi uma mensagem super especial de "Parabéns" durante o filme, assim como o dos meus amigos presentes. E compreendi a importância de permitir que as pessoas celebrem ...  Foi muito especial mesmo, principalmente porque não foi nada combinado...

And finally, I do not like to celebrate birthdays (maybe because Im lazy .. hehe), I received a super special "Happy Birthday" message during the movie, as well  from my present friends. UM NOVO MEMBRO NA FAMÍLIA KUNG FU NO MÉIER ( A NEW MEMBER ENTERS THE KF FAMILY FROM MÉIER)

O Colégio Metropolitano vem sendo divulgado aqui insistentemente..rs Mas ainda assim, queria falar sobre esta última Segunda-feira. Um dia muito especial no Núcleo Méier, quando o dedicado Alexandre Ribeiro foi convidado a ingressar na Família Kung Fu, e recebeu a autorização para iniciar o Siu Nim Tau.

Mas, como Si Fu está na China, pela primeira vez esse convite e autorização, foram feitos por um
Si Hing em nome do Si Fu na Família Moy Jo Lei Ou.

Tive a honra de ser essa pessoa, e quis o destino que fosse Alexandre a receber o convite.

The Metropolitan School in our neighborhood,  has been repeatedly reported here lol .. But still, I wanted to talk about this last Monday. A very special day for the MYVT Meier, when the dedicated Alexandre Ribeiro was invited to join the Kung Fu Family , and received the permission to start the Siu Nim Tau.

But as Si Fu is in China, for the first time that invitation and authorization were made by a
Si Hing on Si Fu behalf .
I was honored to be that person, and fate decreed that Alexander was to receive the invitation.

Alexandre tem 13 anos, e começou a prática por indicação de seus dois amigos, e hoje Si Hing: Rodrigo Caputo e Pedro Freire. Com quem Alexandre estuda desde pequeno.

E foi em almoço na tarde desta Segunda, exatamente na presença de Rodrigo e Pedro, que Alexandre começOU sua jornada dentro do sistema Ving Tsun.
Com certeza o Núcleo Méier, bem como a Família Kung Fu , ganha com o ingresso deste praticante.

Alexander is 13 years old, and began to practice as a nominee of his two friends, and today, his Si Hing : Rodrigo Caputo and Pedro Freire. Who Alexandre studying with since childhood.

MOY YAT E PEREIRA JOGAM SINUCA (Pereira and Si Taai Gung Moy Yat playing Pool!)

Eu comecei a jogar sinuca na época da faculdade. Por alguma "razão mística", eu sempre tive muita sorte nesse jogo. E anos depois de formado, a minha sorte na sinuca ainda não me abandonou.
Recentemente saí para jogar com amigos no local de sempre, e mais uma vez, com grande sorte, comecei a ganhar todas as partidas. E foi quando meus amigos começaram a desanimar, as risadas diminuíram,e o clima já não era tão descontraído.  E aí eu lembrei de uma história...

Si Taai Gung Moy Yat gostava de jogar sinuca. E é com muito pesar que depois de uma hora e meia remexendo meus arquivos, não consegui achar a foto dele jogando..rs Mas enfim...

Certa vez, ouvi que um dia Si Taai Gung Moy Yat precisava de um quantia porque um carro de propriedade de sua família havia batido.
Si Gung e outros discípulos dele, se organizaram para levantar esse dinheiro, que não era qualquer trocado, sem que ele soubesse.

Si gung estava no Mo Gun(foto) com outros praticantes veteranos, quando Si Taai Gung Moy Yat chegou com um pacote. Ele o depositou em cima de um local e disse: "Consegui o dinheiro".

Si Gung e os outros perguntaram "Onde" , e ele responder: "Na sinuca".
Todos ficaram bem espantados, pois Si Taai Gung Moy Yat costumava perder os jogos na maioria das vezes, e perguntado sobre isso, ele respondeu:


Si Gung was at the Mo Gun Mo (photo) with other veteran practitioners, when Si Taai Gung Moy Yat came with a package. He laid on top of a place and said: "I got the money."

Si Gung and others asked "Where?" and he answered: "Playing  pool."
Everyone was amazed as well as Si Taai Gung Moy Yat used to lose games most of the time, and asked about it, he replied:

Si Fu, sempre que estamos com ele comendo em algum lugar e as pessoas começam a ficar mais preocupadas com a comida, bebida ou conta pra pagar do que com o momento em si, ele nos lembra que não estamos ali por isso. A comida é apenas um pretexto para estarmos juntos e vivenciarmos bons momentos de Vida Kung Fu.

The Si Fu  whenever we're eating somewhere with him and people start to get more concerned about the food, drinks or the bill to pay, he reminds us that we are not there for that. The food is just an excuse to be together and to experience good times in Kung Fu Life.

E apesar de  que eu não estava num momento de Vida Kung, pensei que estava ali pra me divertir e ver meus amigos felizes também. Errei algumas tacadas, perdi a partida, e saí da mesa. O pessoal estava animado novamente,então os deixei se divertindo. Caminhei um pouco mais e achei uma maquina de fliperama esquecida num canto. Nela tinha um jogo que eu não jogava a mais de 20 anos,meu jogo preferido em arcade, dá pra acreditar?.... E acabei colocando uma ficha.
Quando vi, muitos de meus amigos tinham parado de jogar sinuca e vindo até mim.A sinuca finalmente foi esquecida, e todos estavam se divertindo novamente...

And  even I was not in a moment of Kung Fu Life, I was there to enjoy myself and see my friends happy too. I missed some movements, I lost the match, and left the table. My friends was excited again. I left them having some fun, and I walked a little further and found a very old arcade machine in a forgotten corner. It was a game I had not played for over 20 years, my favorite game in Arcade machines, can you believe it? .... And I ended up inserting a coin.

When I saw many of my friends have stopped playing pool and coming to me.


The pool was forgotten and everyone was having fun again...

PARTIDA DE SI FU PARA A CHINA 2012.(SI FU´S DEPARTURE TO CHINA 2012.)

A vida cisma em passar num piscar de olhos. Quando você se dá conta, anos já te separam de um momento que você tem certeza que foi outro dia. E ao olhar para esta foto, de um Domingo nublado de Novembro de 2009, momentos antes da partida de Si Fu e Si Sok Felipe para a China, percebemos o quanto a vida de cada um presente nesta foto mudou:  Na época, a Família KF de 
Si Fu, ia para seu quarto Mo Gun, este ano, vamos para o quinto, sem contar o Méier. Felipe e Eliza, apenas namorados, estão a um mês de seu casamento. Carlos e Luciana, que já eram noivos, estão a dias do seu casamento. Si Sok Diego ainda estudava alucinadamente para concursos e hoje já está aprovado, e eu... Bem, eu parei de usar casacos sobre os ombros. Sem dúvidas isso é muito cafona....



There is no way, life will always pass in a flash. When you realize, years passed since some special moment that you are sure it was other day. And by looking at this photo of a cloudy Sunday November 2009, just before the departure of Si Fu and Si Sok Felipe to China, we realize how much the lives of everyone present in this picture changed: At the time the KF Family of
Si Fu, went to its fourth Mo Gun. This year, we go to the fifth one, not counting Meier MYVT school. Felipe and Eliza, only fiancees at the time, they are now just a month of their marriage. Carlos and Luciana, who were already engaged, are days of their marriage. Si Sok Diego at the time was madly studying for public exams and today is already approved, and I ... Well, I stopped wearing jackets over my shoulders. No doubt this is very old fashioned ....

Era uma tarde chuvosa de Sábado quando pegamos Si Fu em sua casa. No meu  carro, eu ia com ele na frente, enquanto Guilherme e Jade se espremiam no meio da minha bagunça no banco traseiro.
Si Fu mal havia conseguido dormir, pois naquela mesma manhã havia acontecido a mudança de nosso atual Mo Gun. Ainda assim, Si Fu estava muito animado, e falava sobre esse novo momento que nos aguarda.


It was a rainy afternoon of Saturday when we take Si Fu in his home to the airport. In my car, I went with him in front, while Guilherme and Jade squeezed themselves in the middle of my mess in the backseat.
Si Fu was barely able to sleep, because that very morning we were moving to a new Mo Gun. Still,Si Fu was very excited, and talked about this new moment that awaits us.

Si Fu se esforçou muito para estar presente no momento em que pegarmos as chaves do novo Mo Gun nesta próxima semana, mas quis o destino que ele viajasse antes disso. Mas segundo ele, isso foi bom porque pela primeira vez, um Mo Gun sob sua direção será montado sem a sua presença, e o papel dos Si Hing nesse momento será fundamental.

Si Fu worked hard to be present at the time we are goin to take the keys of the new Mo Gun this next week, but fate decreed that he traveled before that. But he said that was good because for the first time, a Mo Gun will be mounted under his direction without his presence, and the role of the Si Hing(s) at this point will be crucial.

Si Fu comentou que talvez não existisse pior momento para viajar. Mas sem dúvidas será algo sem precedentes já que no roteiro, estão previstas entrevistas com o diretor do Saint Stephen´s College onde Ip Man estudou, a fim de recuperar materiais dele nesse período de sua vida, bem como, uma entrevista com Ip Jing, seu filho mais novo, em sua residência. Na verdade, a mesma que Ip Man viveu seus últimos dias.

Si Fu commented that perhaps did not exist worst time to travel. But without doubt will be something unprecedented : Interviews are scheduled with the director of Saint Stephen's College where Ip Man studied in order to recover materials from that period of his life, as well as an interview with Ip Jing, his youngest son, at his residence. In fact, the same as Ip Man lived his last days.

Uma camera registra um outro angulo do Siu Nim Tau de Ip Man em sua residência oito dias antes de seu falecimento por causa de um câncer no esofago.  Será exatamente neste local, que Ip Jing receberá Si Fu,
Si Baak Anderson, Si Sok Leo Mordente e outros discípulos presentes nesta incrível viagem.

De costas para a camera, Si Fu embarca para Amsterdã , de onde iria para MAdrid, na Espanha, a fim de prestigiar a inauguração do Núcleo Madrid da Moy Yat Ving Tsun sob a direção do querido Si Sok Marcelo Navarro.

Si Fu goes to Amsterdam before Madrid in Spain. Where a new MYVT school under the direction of his Si Dai, my dear Si Sok Marcelo Navarro will be oficially open by Si Gung himself. After that he goes to China. 

Tem chovido muito no Rio desde a última semana, e numa dessas noites, após mais um dia de trabalho arrumando o agora antigo Mo Gun, levei Vlad até sua casa com seu filho Daniel. No caminho, Vlad disse algo que achei bem bacana que mostra o quanto este discípulo está sintonizado:
" Qualquer outra pessoa no lugar do Si Fu teria desistido. O Si Fu não precisava passar por muita coisa que ele passou. E mesmo assim ele vai lá longe buscar conhecimento pra quem? Pra gente. Essa viagem que ele tá fazendo é por causa da gente. Por isso que eu vou ao Mo Gun pra cuidar, pra fazer o que eu puder, por causa dele. Ele tá sempre cuidando da gente, sempre preocupado com todo mundo. Eu enquanto puder, vou continuar fazendo..."


It has rained a lot in Rio since last week, and in one of those nights, after another day of work fixing up the now former Mo Gun, I gave a ride to Vladimir up to his home with his son Daniel. On the way, Vlad said something I found very nice showing how this disciple is tuned to Si Fu:
"Anyone else in place of Si Fu would have given up. Si Fu did not have to go through what he went through . Yet he goes out there for seek knowledge for who? For us. On this trip he's doing is because of us. So I go to the  Mo Gun to care of it, to do what I can, because of him. He's always watching us, always worried about everyone. While I can, I'll continue doing this ... "

ANTUNES' HOUSE

Depois da emocionante partida de Si Fu, que terminou com um tocante aceno de "até logo" antes de sumir no meio das pessoas, fomos a casa de Carlos Antunes. E agora, peço que você bote pra tocar a música abaixo, porque ela não só tocou como foi a música tema detsa visita...

After the touching departure of Si Fu , we went to the house of Carlos Antunes, next to the airport. But after read the rest of the post, listen to the song below. 'Cus Carlos loves that and it played while we were there!

Guilherme com 23 e Jade(foto) com 15 anos, tentaram acompanhar o quanto puderam o divertido bate-papo regado a muitos clássicos(ou não) que tocavam no computador do Carlos Antunes.

Guilherme 23 years old and Jade, 15 years old did their best to understand the crazy talk between me, Carlos and his future wife, Luciana about old school classics like this one above by Tony Garcia! hehe





A futura Sra Carlos Antunes, Lu, nos recebeu com muito carinho, e com certeza ficaríamos por lá até Domingo, mas estavamos todos "pregados de sono"...rs

The future Mrs Carlos Antunes, Luciana, had a very warm welcome for us that night. We could spend more time together, but all of us were very tired so we decided go home after one hour and a half...

Na semana que começa hoje, muito trabalho aguarda a Família Kung Fu. Si Fu está fazendo um esforço incrível para nos representar do outro lado do mundo. Quero acreditar que representaremos ele tão bem quanto aqui mesmo, em nossa cidade...  Conto com a participação de toda a Família Kung Fu na montagem do novo Mo Gun!!!

In this week, a lot of work awauts for us. Si Fu is doing his best representing us in the other side of the world. I want to believe that we will be doing our best right here in our city in our neighborhood to represente his work building up the new Mo Gun!!
