AT SI FU´S HOUSE : PART 2 (NA CASA DE SI FU JULIO CAMACHO : PARTE 2)

Introdução por Thiago Pereira:
Intro by Thiago Pereira:

No filme "The Snake in the Eagle's Shadow"(foto), Simon Yuen interpreta o ultimo descendente vivo do estilo da serpente.

In the movie "The Snake in the Eagle's Shadow" (photo), Simon Yuen plays the last living descendant of the snake style. He lives disguised as a beggar because the leader of the Eagle Claw Clan follows him to kill him and ending his style.
In one day he meets Jackie Chan's character, an orphan who lives working at some Kung Fu School and is abused daily by both Dai Si Hing of the site. The character of Jackie, even through difficulties, cares for Simon Yuen in a moment of difficulty.
Touched by the generosity of the boy, the character of Simon teaches him how to defend himself. However, after living together and realize that Jackie's character really was someone worthy of his legacy and become the new keeper of the knowledge of the style.
This film is very, very exciting! It was written and directed by the own son of Simon Yuen: Yuen Woo Ping, who would later choreographed the "Matrix" movies and "Kill Bill". This film launched Jackie Chan to stardom with his style of comedy and action.

But most importantly, are the scenes of Master and Disciple, showing trough an innocent way, that although the Master starts to like someone, as the person who safeguards a system, it needs to really make sure he will deliver the legacy. So an invitation to Baai Si is an honor that often the practitioner does not realize until experience the relationship for a few years ....

Today we´re gonna read a testimonial by Glauco Gavioli. A younger Kung Fu brother who recently was invited for Baai Si with Si Fu Julio Camacho.

When I was invited to the home of Si Fu that Tuesday, I believed it would be a night that we would get together to witness the delivery of the "Kung Fu Name" of one of our brothers, and seize the opportunity to speak about these names, their meanings, history, purpose, etc.. A subject which until then was new to me in all aspects.
And as I said, I believed it would be just that, and was, but we had more.
That night, it was the first time I was in the house of Si Fu, who had gone after the meeting ready to move on to one more job beyond office time, that was also the night that I was unexpectedly was invited to my Baai Si .Certainly a big surprise which really I could not have imagined that day when I was waking that morning.
I confess that I was surprised to be invited. After hearing about the importance of the "Kung Fu name" of a disciple both within the family and personally in many cases, Si Fu took the opportunity to also invite André - A Si Hing - and then I ,who receiving the news, made Si Fu has the same feeling of scare when I got up to hug him even before he finished the invitation and this reaction'd venture to say that Si Fu was surprised as I did. By giving the hug, the background people laugh and laugh, wich I we believe, like my smile, were of joy, but rather motivated by the spontaneity of the gesture.
Undoubtedly a remarkable night and among the reasons, the fact Im taking a very important step in my constant construction / development as a person, in my personal achievement within the world of martial arts and within the family I  have chosen, and that in turn also chose me. Is difficult to say who "chose" the other first ... so hard and so easy because this is a detail that does not really matter.
