MESTRE JULIO INAUGURA JIU PAAI DO MÉIER (MYVT MEIER SCHOOL JIU PAAI RUNNIN' WILD)

(Jiu Paai do Núcleo Méier antes de ser formalmente inaugurado)
(MYVT Meier School´s Jiu Paai before Si Fu untie the ribbon!)

(Do Tempo - François Julien)

The Chinese war Strategy, says that: "... You must direct yourself to the military affairs in a way that you are able to triumph every day, gradually, without others fear you ... The other, I mean, the enemies, not even thinking of fear because they do not perceive the situation change and become dangerous (and when they realize it is too late and they are in our hands) ... the transformation was so insensitive by progressive accumulation (positive or capacity) that even in its field, rests upon itself, without being aware of where this comes out ... "(François Julien)

A INAUGURAÇÃO DO JIU PAAI DO MEIER
MYVT MEIER SCHOOL'S JIU PAAI RUNNIN' WILD

(Thats me watching a young Rapha Caputo and Lucas Eustaquio at the school dance where we worked for 3 years with Ving Tsun)

Not long ago when my life was upside down , and yet every Friday afternoon , I lived one of my most satisfying moments in the week , which was the Ving Tsun Class of Lucas and Raphael . I got my bus ,got off in Meier wild neighborhood and used to walk to the dance school in Vilela Tavares Street , a very suburban street in that neighborhood where the dance school was .
Perhaps the affection that I developed to these two practitioners in 2 years , plus of course, Rodrigo , who at that time had stopped the practice . I walked there as if the session had 50 people . For me there was no difference. And I think that never became clear to the dance school people.
I remember wishing everyday that most people started to practice, not by me , or to further validate my trips to there, but for the two boys , so they could enjoy more experiences ...
Speaking seems so beautiful and romantic , but it was not quite it . Sometimes I felt incompetent because everyone began and after a little give up practice , and I wondered if the merits of these dear Kung Fu brothers to keep going was because of me , or was the merit of their will ....

(Me and the legendary Si Sok Andre' Cardoso at the beach)

But a person who has inspired me a lot in those years, which was the dear Si Sok André Cardoso. A person that if life were a Rolling Playing Game, his status would come with 99 points of Charisma. Never seen anyone be so respected and be as gentle at the same time.
For Si Sok Andre, no matter if the Mo Gun had 20 people or just one with him fixing something. He treated with the same importance and affection ...

So yesterday when we were all together waiting Si Fu arrive. I do not know what was going on in the head of each, but watch the Mo Gun so full of life, certainly made me think about what we are building. A silent construction, that even we who are in, are not able to discern every brick we place day after day. But I always believed that even though I did very wrong in the transmission of the art with many people due to lack of my experience and maturity at the time, the heart was very important at those times. Because it was like Si Sok Andre once said: "... Do what you gotta do, with what you have, in the time it takes ...." - It was with this sentence that he began my first session of Biu Ji and I never forgotten.
(Si Fu pays respects to the ancestors of our lineage)

Si Fu when arrived, paid respects to ancestral table. This symbol present in our  Mo Gun, has nothing to do with religion. Even the Greeks strategycal Trades, which gave rise to the Western thought of the war, did not recommend appeal to deities. The Chinese strategy, said that the strategist just accumulates potential and throws himself into the fight just letting it take action, so the war does not offer anything strange or uncertain and therefore has no place for outside determinations as God or fate.
Thus, one of the ancestral table  functions,is to cultivate  the ancestry of our  system as well as Si Fu said a few minutes later ...

Si Fu chatted with those present with "Mo Gun" as a  theme. But instead of going in specific, Si Fu talked about symbols. The importance that the human being gives to Symbols and made a very curious connection from the flag of Brazil, to the symbols present in Mo Gun which he says that are endless because everything has the potential to become a symbol.

For many like Gustavo, Leandro and Jessica, was a first opportunity to be with Si Fu. For others like Luiz and Fabiano was a new moment to enlarge their approach with him
(Photo of the moment when Si gung and Si Taai gave the Jiu Paai to Si Fu)

Si Fu received his Jiu paai in 2003. The Jiu Paai is an advertising board. In the case of Si Fu's Jiu paai we see in the photo is written "Moy Yat Ving Tsun" with handwriting by Si Taai Gung Moy Yat.
And Si Fu yesterday talked about the importance of the symbol is in Jiu paai is when you receive it from someone legitimately. Because anyone can do or ask someone to make a Jiu paai.

After we pull the strings, the Jiu paai announcing "Moy Jo Lei Ou Family" was opened in Meier.
Si Fu had spoken about this Jiu Paai and its history. It was made by the Kung Fu Brother William Franco who lives in Luanda(Angola) and is displayed in Meier now indicating that it is a place which houses the  Moy Jo Lei Ou Family. Funny that when I hug Si Fu, he said "Congratulations". It took me some time to say "Thank you" because a song came to my head, "Something So Strong" by Jim Capaldi, I listened to it a lot when I went by bus to the sessions of Lucas and Raphael at that time. The lyrics of this song surely has much to do with each achievement of MYVT Meier Branch, and believe that as long as a heart is involved in each moment, will always have!
