FRIDAY KUNG FU LIFE IN MÉIER (SEXTA-FEIRA DE VIDA KUNG FU NO MÉIER)

Era mais uma noite de Sexta no bairro do Méier, e cada vez mais o "espírito" da Família Kung Fu começa a tomar conta do local.
Na foto, está Pedro Freire que tem 14 anos e pratica Ving Tsun há apenas cinco meses por indicação de seu amigo Rodrigo Evaristo.

It was another Friday night in the neighborhood of Meier, and  the "spirit" of the Kung Fu Family increasingly begins to take over the hood!
In the photo you can see wearing black Pedro Freire(12G VT) who is 14 years old and practicing Ving Tsun only five months thanks to his friend Rodrigo Evaristo(12G VT).

Pedro começou com muita fibra e graças a ele, depois de um ano parado, Rodrigo Evaristo retornou a prática.

Hoje, Pedro já começa a entender bem a lógica do Kung Fu e sempre a está colocando em prática:

-Pedro, por que você pratica Ving Tsun? - perguntei certa vez.
-Porque eu gosto de estar com vocês. - respondeu Pedro.

Pedro began with great energy and thanks to him, after a year away, Rodrigo Evaristo(12G VT) returned to practice.

Today, Pedro is beginning to understand the logic of Kung Fu and is always puting into practice:

-Pedro, why do you practice Ving Tsun? - I once asked.

-Because I like to be with you. - Pedro replied.

Fazendo o sinal é Ailton Jordão, que começou ainda no antigo Espaço Dharma,quando as sessões aconteciam por lá, e hoje está de volta a pratica já ajudando na mobilização de quem está começando.

Making the sign is Ailton Jordao(12G VT), who started some years ago, and now is back to practice as also helping in the practice of the beginners.

Ailton ensina a Manobra de Heimlich

Em mais uma de minhas manias esquisitas, sempre achei que valeria a pena aprender a "Manobra de Heimlich" porque sempre tive a impressão que algum dia alguém vai se engasgar perto de mim (hahaha  -_ -')

Ailton é bombeiro e também trabalha como socorrista de uma Unidade de Pronto Atendimento, e nesta Sexta finalmente pude aprender a "Manobra de Heimlich" !!

In another of my weird quirks(lol), I always thought it would be worth learning the "Heimlich maneuver" because I always had the impression that one day someone will choke close to me (hahaha-_ - ')

Ailton  works as a firefighter and paramedic in an Emergency Unit, and this Friday I could finally learn the "Heimlich maneuver"!


Ficamos os 3 juntos até as 21:00 h contando ainda com a presença de demais praticantes como João Araujo e Priscila Uemura, enfim, foi mais um grande dia!

We spent together 'till 9 :00 pm when I closed the Mo Gun. João Araujo and Priscila Uemura also was there with us! Well, that was just another great day!
