Eu estava muito curioso e empolgado com "IP MAN 2", afinal o filme mostraria a vida de Ip Man em Hong Kong. E eu não estava nem ligando se Bruce Lee apareceria ou não, só queria que o filme fosse legal.
De fato, a primeira metade do filme na minha opinião foi tranquila, mas a segunda metade dá a impressão de que os produtores ligaram e disseram: "Tem muito pouca luta! Dá um jeito nisso aê!"
E deu no que deu...
I was very curious about "IP MAN 2", 'cause that would show his life in Hong Kong. I wasn´t care about Bruce Lee in the movie, "I just wanted to have fun" like Cindy Lauper ordered in the 80's, and I have to say that the first half of the movie was kind of good, but the second half...man... totally Rocky IV!
Just change Sammo Hung for Carl Weathers and the english boxer for Dolph Lundgreen and you will have the entire scene of ROCKY IV!
Por isso quando em 24 de Junho passado "IP MAN- THE LEGEND IS BORN"(foto acima) estreou, eu estava com os "dois pés atrás.
"LEGEND IS BORN" conta a a juventude de Ip Man. Seria o "Ip Man zero" e sabe da maior? Em "recente viagem a Hong Kong" pude assistir ao filme e tenho que dizer: "É BOM!"
Thats why when I heard about "LEGEND IS BORN:IP MAN" I was scared about it.
"Legend is Born" tells the story of the young Ip Man, and do you know what? ITS VERY GOOD!
O filme começa com Ip Man(esquerda) e seu irmão adotivo na trama Ip Tin Chi(direita) chegando ao imenso Mo Gun de Chan Wah Shun(interpretado por Sammo Hung que nem se deu ao trabalho de trocar o figurino que usou em Ip Man 2) e fazendo Baai Si com ele. Então é possível ver os dois de joelhos oferecendo chá ao Si Fu e dizendo: "Shi Fu he cha!" ("Si Fu, beba chá!")
The movie starts showing a huge Mo Gun where Ip Man(left) and his step-brother(right) arrives to do the Baai Si with Chan Wah Shun (the Si Fu of the place).
So you see the Baai Si ceremony when they say: "SHI FU HE CHA!" ("Si Fu drink some tea!")
O ator Dennis To Yu Hang que interpreta Ip Man mais novo dá conta do recado de forma incrível. Ele tem uma semelhança tão assustadora com Donnie Yen que chega a dar medo. E com isso para os não praticantes de Ving Tsun , a cara de Ip Man começa a ser a cara de Donnie Yen, e não a do próprio patriarca entende?
The actor Dennis To Yu hang(photo) is very good as Ip Man! His face is so similar to the Donnie Yen´s that is almost weird. And for non-Ving tsun practitioners from now, maybe Ip Man´s face turns to be Donnie Yen´s face in their minds.
Digo isso porque para mim Wong Fei Hung é o Jet Li! rs

o filme conta com a participação do filho mais velho de Ip Man na vida real(esquerda na foto) Ip Chun.
A presença de Ip Chun no filme é bem interessante. Ele interpreta Leung Bik(filho mais velho de Leung Jaan) que vive em Hong Kong. E você pergunta "e daí?"
Ip Chun(left) plays Leung Bik. Ip Chun is a real son of Ip Man and his presence is very interesting 'cause shows a real problem in Ving Tsun modern world.
Bom, todos sabem que existem interpretações diferentes do Ving Tsun de Família para Família no mundo real. Como se isso não bastasse, algumas escolas acusam as outras de serem "falsas" ou se auto-denominam a "verdadeira".
As everyone knows, the Ving Tsun way change from Family to Family around the world. And some Families says that "my Ving Tsun is the real one!" , "Their Ving Tsun is nor real!" and bla,bla,bla!
Isso é mostrado de maneira bem interessante no filme em 3 momentos:
1- É quando Ip Man conhece Leung Bik. Este o convida para um "sparring" e Ip Man diz: "O que você pratica?" . Leung Bik responde "Ving Tsun!" . Mas Ip Man só acredite quando Leung Bik diz que é filho do Si Gung de Ip Man: Leung Jaan.
2- Quando Ip Man retorna a escola (foto) , Ip Ti Ching o desafia e leva a pior. Mais uma vez ele acusa Ip Man de não estar usando Ving Tsun.
So, this situation is showed in the movie 'cause Leung Bik would have a modified Ving Tsun. So when Ip Man meet him in Hong Kong, Leung Bik invites him to "talking hands" and Ip man asks: "What is this?" and he answers: "Ving tsun!". But Ip Man just believes when Leung Bik says that Ip man´s Si Gung was his father, called Leung Jaan.
Also, when Ip Man returns yo his Mo Gun, his step-brother invites him for a "talking hands" and he doubts too about his techiniques coming from Ving Tsun.
Por fim o excelente Yuen Biao(foto) que interpreta Ng Chun So (Dai Si Hing que assume o Mo Gun após Chan Wah Shun morrer) critica Ip Man por ter aprendido de Leung Bik dizendo que seu Ving Tsun é "Modificado."
At least, the great Yuen Biao(photo) who plays Ng Chun So(the Dai Si Hing who leads the Mo Gun after Chan wah Shun passed away) repreends Ip Man telling him that Leung Bik´s Ving Tsun is not for real. It is modified!
Yuen Biao(esquerda) contracena com Sammo Hung(direira) : discípulo e Mestre respectivamente no filme.

A presença de Yuen Biao no filme é ótima, mas após 40 capítulos de uma novela onde ele encarna Leung Jaan magistralmente, fica dificil aceitá-lo em outro papel dentro da história do Ving Tsun. Porém foi possível matar as saudades de ouvir ele com raiva ao falar "LIANG BI? LIANG BI?" (Leung Bik? Leung Bik?) rsrs
Já que na novela seu personagem era o pai de Leung Bik e dizer o nome do filho que só aprontava era o que ele mais fazia..rsrsrs
Yuen Biao presence is great but after 40 chapters of the TV series from 2007 where he played Leung Jaan giving us a show of intepretation, its kinda hard to watch him playing another character in Ving Tsun world. But I was missing something that appears in this movie. Yuen Biao screaming: "LIANG BI? LIANG BI?" (Leung Bik? Leung Bik?) hahaha Thats 'cause in the Tv series Leung Bik was his character´s son. And he used to say that all the time!
Quem conhece um pouco da biografia do Patriarca vai saber que muitos fatos como a presença de um irmão adotivo, um triangulo amoroso,o imenso Mo Gun de Chan Wah Shun e alguns outros fazem parte apenas do universo do filme.
Mas a proposta é ótima e vale muito a pena assistir quando chegar por aqui.
O diretor é Herman Yau que treina Ving Tsun na vida real com Ip Ching. O filme tem 1:40 min de duração e foi lançado em 24 de Junho de 2010.

Who knows Ip man´s life will know that some iformations in the movie is not real. Ip Chun said that in a interview too. But the movie is great, a lot better than "Ip Man 2" and the blog says:
