NÚCLEO RIO DE JANEIRO 14 ANOS (14 YEARS OF RIO DE JANEIRO BRANCH)

No último dia 01 de Agosto, foi comemorado o aniversário de 14 anos do Núcleo Rio de Janeiro que é dirigido até hoje por meu Si Fu, Mestre Julio Camacho.

Por este núcleo já passaram grandes praticantes e também grandes seres humanos. Desde pessoas com o eterno sonho de seguir os passos do seu ídolo Bruce Lee,a quem assistiam na infância, como também pessoas com outras questões mais sérias.


In the last August first, was celebrated 14 years anniversary of Rio de Janeiro Branch which is headed 'till today by my Si Fu, Master Julio Camacho.

In this Mo Gun had been great practitioners and great human beings. Since people with the eternal dream of following in the footsteps of their idol Bruce Lee, who watched in childhood, but also other people with more serious issues.

Neste Mo Gun, a história da Moy Yat Ving Tsun no Rio de Janeiro sobreviveu e lembro de algumas palavras do Si Fu:

"Meu tio me ligou e disse: Julio, você não estava procurando uma sala? Estou em uma agora na Estrada do Tindiba, vem pra cá. Eu então resolvi tudo depois de consultar o Si Gung que autorizou, assinei tudo direitinho, e depois que aluguei o proprietário me entregou as chaves e eu fiquei ali parado olhando para aquela sala vazia,e que no mês seguinte já tinha que pagar o primeiro mês de aluguel.(risos)"

Até hoje eu não conformo de passar por esse Mo Gun todos os dias voltando de inúmeros locais e só tê-lo avistado quatro anos depois, em 1999...rs "Bati tanta cabeça" até chegar lá...poxa vida..

Lembro que eu era traumatizado por começar a treinar algo e meses depois o professor sumir. Fosse por brigas com o dono da academia, por não poder pagar o aluguel de uma sala por falta de alunos etc... e uma das primeiras coisas que perguntei ao meu jovem Si fu na época quando o conheci foi:

-Assim... tem o risco de eu começar a treinar e a academia fechar? Ou você parar de dar aula?
-Thiago, eu posso te garantir que você nunca vai ficar sem treinar.

E como sempre, Si Fu estava dizendo a verdade...

In Mo Gun, the story of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun in Rio de Janeiro survived and I remember some words of Si Fu about his begnning:

"My uncle called me and said: Julio,arent you were looking for a room to rent? I am now in a room in Tindiba Avenue, come here. I then decided after consulting Si Gung , signed everything straight, then that rented, the owner handed me the keys and I was standing there looking at that empty room, and I knew that in the following month had to pay the first month's rent. (laughter) "

Even today I cant believe that I passed by that Mo Gun every day returning from many places to my house and only met it four years later, in 1999 ...

I remember that I was traumatized by somethings, like begin to training and some months later the teacher disappear. And one of the first things I asked to my young Si fu at the time when met him was:

-So ... I have the risk of starting to train and this academy close? Or you stop to teach?
-Thiago, I can assure you that you'll never run out of practice.

And as always, Si Fu was telling the truth ...

Si Fu ainda com jeito de garoto recebe o Certificado das mãos de Si Gung comprovando que aquele era um Núcleo oficial da MYVT.
Este Certificado tem um valor tão grande para o Si Fu, que até hoje está disposto em uma das paredes de nosso Mo gun atual.

Si Fu, still looking like a boy, receveid from the hands of Si Gung, a Certificate, that made him an official MYVT Branch Director.
This Certificate is so important to Si Fu, that still today it is on our Mo Gun´s wall.
A sala já não estava tão vazia.
Lembro de ter pirado quando com 15 anos avistei esse
Muk Yan Jong ao adentrar pela primeira vez um Mo Gun da MYVT.
Eu sabia que treinaria ali.

The room was no longer so empty.
I remember when I went crazy for have met 15 years with this
Muk Yan Jong entering the first time in a Mo Gun of MYVT.
I knew that I would train there.

O modesto quadro com os primeiros praticantes ia apenas até o Biu Ji..rs
Si Fu costuma dizer, que você pode ver a maturidade de um Mo Gun,
de acordo com o seu quadro de membros.
Isso acontece, porque por muito tempo, os níveis da trilogia fundamental eram lotados em nosso Mo Gun, enquanto que os níveis Mui Fa Jong, Luk Dim Bun Gwan e Baat Jaam Do tinham poucos "heróis" representados por seus cartões.
Hoje o painel de nosso Mo Gun mudou totalmente...

Si Fu say, you can see the maturity of a Mo Gun,
according to the members board.
This is because for a long time, the levels of first trilogy were crowded in our Mo Gun,
Today the panel of our Gun Mo totally changed ...
Esse chãozinho "Hong Kong Style" dava um carisma a mais para o local.
Esse Mo gun era tão pequenino, que durante a visita da equipe do programa Alternativa Saúde do canal GNT para fazer uma matéria sobre Ving Tsun, a apresentadora segundo Si Fu, pensou que se tratava apenas da recepção..rs

This "Hong Kong Style floor" brought a great charisma to the Mo Gun.
This Mo gun was so small that during the visit of the production of the TV show: "Health Alternative" program of the cable channel GNT to do a interview about Ving Tsun, the reporter thought it was just the reception .. hehe
Si Taai Gung Moy Yat também esteve lá.

Reparem que ainda não sendo Mestre, ao invés do Jiu Pai, uma foto Si Fu-To Dai de Mestre Julio com seu Si Fu, Mestre Leo Imamura, comprovava a sua legitimidade como membro da Família Moy Ya Sang e do Clã Moy Yat.

So for the visitors know from where he was, a photo with his Si Fu is handled on Jing Tong.

O Mo Gun já era assim quando entrei.
Sentei nessa cadeira com 15 anos com minha mãe para me matricular.
Lembro de ter olhado as fitas VHS lá no fundo e de não ter entendido porque "Coração Valente"
estava no meio delas..rs

When I got into the Family the Mo Gun was already this way!
I sit on this chair with 15 years old with my mom to register.
I remember to look those VHS in the background, I dont understand why "brave heart" was there! hehe
Um bom coração e uma dedicação acima da média atraem cada vez mais pessoas.

E em cima da mesa, o lendário fax cinza, que na falta de um cachorro acabou por se tornar o mascote não oficial do Núcleo Rio de Janeiro,
habitando o mesmo até hoje mesmo não funcionando mais..rsrs

On the ground, another painted by Si Taai Gung of his Si Fu Yip Man doing the Jong movements.
And on the table, the legendary gray fax machine , which in the absence of a dog eventually become the unofficial mascot of the Rio de Janeiro Branch,
its still with us till today even without work , and I dont know why! hehe..
